When I took the book out of the package, I noticed that there was something else (takes out 3 envelopes with split pictures).

Listen to the task: fold the picture, and you will find out what proverb is hidden in them?

"A proverb is an assistant to all things"

Leading: We all know and love folk tales, songs, riddles. Today we will talk about proverbs - one of the genres of Russian folklore. Proverbs arose from ancient times, as soon as people learned to speak and communicate with each other.

Since then, they have always been with a person in life: they advise, teach, warn, instruct. No wonder they say: "The proverb is not said without reason." We will be convinced of this in our oral journal "Proverb - an assistant to all things."

They say, "you can't live without a proverb." There is probably no person in the world who has not used proverbs at least once in his speech. Proverbs make our speech rich, figurative, bright, expressive.

People treat proverbs with respect, because this is our culture and history.

Vladimir Ivanovich Dal (1801-1872) was an educated and hardworking person. He graduated from the St. Petersburg Marine Corps, and then from the University of Dorpat, receiving a medical degree. However, the main business of his life was literary activity. He entered the history of world culture as the compiler of the Dictionary of the Living Great Russian Language.

Dahl's dictionary, as his contemporaries began to call him abbreviated, for the first time reflected the richness and beauty of the spoken folk language.

Dahl gave an explanation for each word and illustrated its use with proverbs or sayings.

In addition, Dahl created many literary works: fairy tales, stories, essays and stories. complete collection Dahl's writings are 10 voluminous volumes. His works are written in such a lively and fascinating language that they are easily read by children of any age.

Dahl's activity in creating a dictionary during his lifetime received public recognition: he was awarded the Lomonosov Prize and a large gold medal of the Russian geographical society. In 1868 Dahl was elected an honorary academician.

Theme: Books are my friends

  • B. Gorbachevsky. Reprinter Ivan Fedorov
For a better study of the topic, we advise you to read the book by Evgeny Osetrov "The Tale of Drukar Ivan and His Books". It tells about Cyril and Methodius, and about the first handwritten books, and about Nestor the chronicler.

Books have been loved and appreciated at all times. “If you diligently search in the books of wisdom, you will find great benefit to your soul,” wrote Grand Duke Ancient Rus' Yaroslav the Wise.

In the handwritten books of Ancient Rus' there were instructions for children. Here are the words of Prince Vladimir Monomakh.

Beware of lies, from that the soul perishes and the body. *** Do not have pride in your heart and mind. *** Honor the old like a father, and the young like brothers. *** Don't miss a person without greeting him, and good word speak to him. *** What you have good, do not forget, and what you do not have, learn from it. *** While doing good, do not be lazy for anything good.

Theme: Life is given for good deeds

The stories of M. Zoshchenko, N. Nosov, V. Dragunsky are very funny. In them, writers talk about their childhood.

Mikhail Zoshchenko frankly admitted that when he was little, not everything went well at home and at school. In one of his stories, he wrote: “Perhaps I did not manage to become very good. It is very difficult. But this, children, I have always aspired to. The writer, creating his work, always hopes that he can help someone become better, smarter and kinder.

Proverbs about kindness The smart learn from the mistakes of others, and the stupid learn from their own. ( old proverb) *** Whoever helps people, his desires come true. (English proverb) *** Learn good things, so bad things will not come to mind. (Russian proverb) *** Do not judge by the strength of the hands, but judge by the strength of the heart. (Bashkir proverb) *** Listen kind people- they will lead you on the way. (Russian proverb)

Vladimir Ivanov Dal collected not only fairy tales, but also proverbs of the Russian people. One of the sections of his collection "Proverbs and sayings of the Russian people" is called: "On good deeds and virtues."

Here are a few proverbs about why a person is judged not by his words, but by his deeds.
