- Since the resulting surface will not only be convex, but also very rough, use sandpaper to achieve a smooth finish. Don't go for the coarse-grained option - it will only hurt results creative work... It is best to give preference to the finest grains used for final sanding.
- Mix gouache with liquid PVA glue - so it will be much more resistant and durable. Use a brush to color the image as you intended at the planning stage.
