Small children love to leave blots on paper. Parents, underestimating the "masterpieces" of their own children, get rid of incomprehensible drawings. But it turns out that you can create a unique pattern from the blots left behind. By the way, there is even such a drawing technique - blotting.

POSITIVE ASPECTS BLOTGRAPHY

V last years blotography is gaining unprecedented popularity. And this moment is not connected at all with the latest fashion trends. It turns out that thanks to this drawing technique, the child's creative imagination is intensively developing.

It would seem that the kid can learn useful from the usual blot. In fact, a spot accidentally made with paint has a unique, non-repeating shape and size. And if you apply a little imagination, then an ordinary blot can be given the outlines of an object or create an image of an animal. By the way, this unconventional technique drawing is often carried away by adults.

Blotography drawing technique

To create a unique pattern, you must prepare the following material:

- Artistic brush. It is advisable to use hard brushes. Sometimes children to paint a blot big size use a toothbrush.
- Paints. In this art form, only liquid watercolor is used. If there are no suitable paints at hand, then you can simply dilute the existing watercolor with water. By the way, multi-colored ink has the consistency necessary for drawing. It can also be used when drawing.
- Cardboard or sheet of white paper.
- Capacity for water.
- Cotton buds.
- A damp cloth. Used to remove dirt from hands.

Stages of the creative process

So, blotting is a drawing technique.
Where to begin?
If you are new to this area, then initially you should decide on the theme of the future drawing.
It is extremely important here to direct mental activity in the right direction, in other words, to set the direction.
Having made a blot on a piece of paper, turn on your imagination and try to see in it the outlines of an object or living creature. Maybe an amazing planet or a picturesque underwater world is in front of you.

There are several ways to create a drawing using blotting.

The most common is drip method.

A wide, voluminous brush is required here. It should be thoroughly saturated with paint, and then, placing it over a piece of paper, begin to spray watercolor. If you want the drops to spray a small area, tap the brush on your finger or hand. When the brush is simply shaken, the spray area increases. For spot application of paint, use a pipette. By the way, with its help, you can create a large blot, thus depicting, for example, the sun. Most often, landscapes are created using this method of blotting.

In the second method of blotting, use spreading method.

To do this, a large blot is applied to the corner of the sheet with a brush. Importantly, the paint must be very liquid. Then, using a drinking straw, they begin to inflate the paint over the surface of the paper. It is advisable to direct the watercolor in different directions. Now take a closer look at the resulting drawing, what does it remind you of? Maybe a mountain ash bush?

If yes, then you should complete the drawing by drawing red fruits on the branch. To do this, use cotton swab... Just soak the "tool" in the paint the desired color and draw rowan leaves and berries. The resulting drawing, if desired, can be decorated with an original frame.

Your child may need adult help for the first few lessons. Most often, babies cannot immediately see familiar outlines in the blot.

Drawings made in the technique of blotting.

Drawing technique Blotography(drawing with blots, blowing them through a straw) is another magic among our drawing lessons. At first glance, it is incomprehensible and it seems that you do not want to take on it, but as soon as you start to Create, this first sensation disappears like smoke. The drawing seems to be born by itself! Yes, the Artist arranges the paint droplets, according to his plan, but inflating them - he can no longer predict exactly how they will disperse, flow into each other, and what the final result will be ... By drawing, you will enjoy the beauty of this Action! You will learn how to use random effects as a basis for creativity!

This activity will be interesting for both adults and children. Moreover, it is not only interesting, but also useful: for example, for children with a delay in the development of speech (how articulatory gymnastics). Also, drawing by blowing through a straw improves the health and strength of the lungs and respiratory system (which is especially useful for coughing).

Drawing lesson: Blotography - Blowing paint through a straw

We will need:

Album sheets,

Gouache or watercolor

Large brush,

Drinking tube,

The rest: water in a jar, a damp cloth - wipe your hands if they get dirty.

Progress:

Step 1. Dip a brush in diluted paint and spray on a sheet of paper. The thicker the paint, the richer the color, but the more difficult it is to blow out.

Step 2. We take a tube and blow through it onto drops of paint, they turn into blots.

It turns out something like this:

Chip! It will turn out very beautiful effects transition if the paint drops are of different colors.

An example of a blob drawing - Science Lab:

Here used blob blowing through a straw, in combination with drawing with a black felt-tip pen (outlines of laboratory glassware), as well as two more effects:

1) Spatter from brush(you need a brush with hard and short bristles).

2) Straw prints- dip the tube in thick paint and print it on paper.

See how blob painting can be combined with other drawing techniques:

All three drawings are drawing landscapes with trees, using the blob technique:

1st figure: drawing trees different color, by blowing through a tube - on a layer already painted with watercolors and a dried layer.

2nd figure: First, the trees were "blown out", and when the drawing dried up, the spaces between the "branches" were painted with colored pencils of different colors. Such a drawing vaguely resembles a stained glass window.

3rd figure: Blotography on the dried layer of watercolor monotype. You can find out more about how to draw a monotype in our

Drawings from blots - great idea, which can diversify your creativity with your child. It was suggested to us by the talented St. Petersburg artist Sergei Rublev. For Galka-Igryalka, Sergey prepared a small master class that will allow you and your baby to create your own unusual (and probably more than one) picture from a blot. Try it, it's not difficult at all, and the result can be very effective.

First, a little background. Last summer I spent a lot of time in the company of my nephew Mark, who at that time was 4 years old. When we were once again looking for something to do, I remembered about watercolor blots, and we got down to business. And we got so carried away that in a couple of hours we got about 50 blots. And Mark is not so easy to interest in something, especially for a long time!

Later, while cleaning the closet, I came across our art and decided to finish painting them with ink. So from the blots a series of urban and seascapes, and after several years of work and drawing on the computer, I fell in love with watercolor again.

Do you want to try to create your own too little masterpiece from a blot? It will be interesting for children (and adults) of the most of different ages (Editor's note: with babies we use a hand-to-hand technique; also it could be great idea for mom's creativity). The technology is quite simple, and you will probably find materials for creativity in your home.

1. We need watercolors, 6-12 colors are enough. The paper can be any, for example, my nephew and I drew in a regular office. It is best to take large brushes, they are easier and faster to paint over the sheet. A jar of water and a rag or paper towels are also useful.

2. Before drawing, fold the sheets of paper in half: on one side we will draw, on the other we will get a print.

3. Wet the brush with water and take the paint. There should be enough water so that the color spots can blend on the paper, then you get a beautiful transition between colors. I recommend using no more than 3-4 colors, then the spots will turn out to be bright and saturated and do not risk turning into dirty gray.

4. When one side of the sheet is painted, you can fold it in half.

5. Smooth out the folded sheet so that the print is clearer and brighter.

6. The blot is ready. Let's put it aside so that it dries up, but for now you can do the next one.

7. When the blot is dry, we can finish painting it with felt-tip pens, pencils and a gel pen.

How to "revive" our blot? The plot can be thought over in advance or fantasized when the blot is ready. In the first case, it can be a flower, butterfly, sun or heart (by the way, interesting idea for valentine) - something symmetrical. Then you simply apply half of the desired pattern to half of the sheet.

The course of the lesson.

1. Introduction.

Blotography is one of the techniques that both children and adults love. With the help of blots and a stream of air, unusual silhouettes appear, which then the artists turn into trees, fairy tale characters, flowers and more.

Today we will get acquainted with only one method of blotting, but first we will get acquainted with illustrations famous artists who used this drawing method in their works. This is the work of Eric Bulatov and Oleg Vasiliev.

What do you think helped these artists create the image of a deep forest?

Right! Blots!

Blots are different: scary and cute, evil and kind. It all depends on the artist's imagination.

Listen to a poem about blots.

A wonderful blot.

In every blot

Someone is there

If in a blot

Climb your finger.

In this blot -

Cat with a tail

Under the tail -

A river with a bridge

Navigable river

For ships and pike perch.

On the bridge -

A freak with a freak.

Under the bridge -

Pike perch with a goose

And they float back and forth

All kinds of vessels:

They float there with dummies,

They float here with little stories,

Reflected in the river

Pike perch with freaks,

Weirdos with goons.

This blot is the end

We need to make a new one

There is a huge palace in it

And a balcony with a cow!

2. Preparing children for a practical lesson.

Guys, today we will use blots to create various images of trees. A magic jar of ink will help us with this. The ink does not wash off the clothes, so we check that everyone has aprons and oversleeves.

3. Practical lesson.

And now let's start creating blobography. To do this, put a large blob of ink in the middle of the sheet and start blowing. We blow in such a way that our blot grows upward, turning into a tree.

(Teacher's commentary on each stage of production, helping children in the process of work). The blots must be blown out. Therefore, children get tired quickly.

Physical education:

One - rise, stretch,

Two - bend, unbend,

Three - clap, three claps,

Head three nods.

Four - arms wider

Five - wave your hands,

Six - sit quietly in place.

After our trees are ready, we proceed to the completion of the work using the method of wetting with watercolors. On the palette, mix yellow and blue colors... It turns out various shades green. Apply some dips with a brush, creating leaves by the tree and grass.
