Biography was born in Zwikkau (Saxony) on June 8, 1810 in the family of a book publisher and writer Augustus Shuman (1773-1826). The first music lessons Schumani took at the local organist; At the age of 10 began to compose, in particular, choral and orchestral music. Sounded the gymnasium in his hometown, where he met works by J. Bairon and Jean Fields, becoming their passionate fan. The moods and images of this romantic literature have been reflected in the musical creativity of Shuman. As a child, he joined the professional literary work, making an article for the encyclopedia, which was published in the publishing house of his father. Seriously was fond of philology, performed the pre-presidential correction of a large Latin dictionary. And the school literary writings of Shumanna are written at such a level that they were posthumously published as an application to the meeting of his mature journalistic works. At a certain period of youth, the hitch even hesitated, whether to elect a writer or musician. House Shuman to Zwickau

In 1828, he entered the University of Leipzig, and next year he went to the University of Heidelberg. He was planning to become a lawyer at the insistence of mother, but the music has increasingly delayed the young man. He attracted the idea to become a concert pianist. In 1830, he received the Mother's permission to completely devote himself to music and returned to Leipzig, where he hoped to find a suitable mentor. There, he began to take piano lessons in F. Vika and the composition of Dorna. In an effort to become a real virtuoso, he was engaged in fanatical perseverance, but it was precisely this led to the trouble: hesitating the exercises with a mechanical device to strengthen the muscles of the hand, he damaged his right hand. The middle finger ceased to act and, despite the long-term treatment, the hand was forever became incapable of a virtuoso piano. The thought about the career of a professional pianist had to leave. Then Schumani seriously engaged in the composition and at the same time musical criticism. Finding support in the face of Friedrich Vika, Ludwig Shunka and Julius Knorra, Schuman, in 1834 to establish one of the most influential in the future music periodic publications - "New Music Newspaper" (it. Neue Zeitschrift Für Musik), which has edited and regularly for several years published its articles in it. He has established himself as a new and fibrous fibrille with the so-called fibrines, that is, with those who have traded the development of music with the so-called fibresters and presented the development of music and was the stronghold of conservatism and burgherness. In October 1838, the composer moved to Vienna, but at the beginning of April 1839 returned to Leipzig. In 1840, Leipzig University assigned the title of Ph.D.. In the same year, September 12, the marriage of the Shuman with his daughter of his teacher, an outstanding pianist-Clare Vic, took place in the Church in Schendelde. About 140 songs were created in the year of marriage of the noise. For several years of Robert's collaboration and Clara fell happily. They had eight children. Schuman accompanied his wife in concert trips, and she, in turn, often performed her husband's music. Schumanika taught in the Leipzig Conservatory established in 1843 by F. Mendelson. In 1844, Schumani, together with his wife, went to the tour to St. Petersburg and Moscow, where they were taken with a lot of honorable. In the same year, Schumann moves from Leipzig to Dresden. There for the first time showed signs of nervous disorder. Only in 1846, Schumani recovered so much that he was able to compose again. In 1850, Schumann received an invitation to the position of city director of music in Dusseldorf. However, there soon began taking place there, and in the fall of 1853 the contract was not resumed. In November 1853, Schumani, together with his wife, goes on a trip to the Netherlands, where he and Clara took "with joy and with honors." However, in the same year, symptoms of the disease again began to appear. In early 1854, after the exacerbation of the disease, Schumann tried to commit suicide, rushing to Rhine, but was saved. He had to be placed in a psychiatric hospital in Endenich near Bonna. In the hospital, he almost did not compose, the sketches of the new works were lost. Occasionally, he was allowed to see his wife Clara. Robert died on July 29, 1856. Buried in Bonn. Robert and Clara, 1847

Creativity Robert Schuman, Vienna, 1839 Intellectual and Estet, in his music Schumannaya more than any other composer, reflected the deep personality nature of romanticism. Its early music, introspective and often bizarre, was an attempt to break with the tradition of classical forms and structures, in his opinion, too limited. In many ways, the kindred poetry of Gayne, the work of Shuman challenged the spiritual mission of Germany of the 1820s - 1840s, called to the world of high humanity. Heyntef. Schubert and K. M. Weber, Schumann developed democratic and realistic tendencies of German and Austrian musical romanticism. A little understood during life, most of his music is now regarded as a bold and original phenomenon in harmony, rhythm and form. Its works are closely related to the traditions of German musical classics. There is a large part of the piano works of Shuman - these are cycles of small plates of lyric-dramatic, visual and "portrait" genres, interconnected by the inner plot and psychological line. One of the most typical cycles - "Carnival" (1834), in which Pöstroy Renuits pass scenes, dancing, masks, women's images (among them Kiarin - Clara Vic), Music portraits of Paganini, Chopin. Close to "carnival" "Butterfly" cycles (1831, based on the work of the Jean field) and "Davidsbundlers" (1837). The cycle of the Craislerian plays (1838, named by the name of the literary hero E. T. A. Gofman - a musician-fantasy of Johannes Craisler) belongs to the highest achievements of Shuman. The world of romantic images, passionate longing, the heroic impulse is displayed in such articles for piano as "symphonic etudes" ("Etudes in the form of variations", 1834), Sonata (1835, 1835-1838, 1836), Fantasy (1836-1838) , a concert for piano with orchestra (1841-1845). Together with the works of variational and semonate types, Shuman has piano cycles, built on the principle of suite or the Pieces album: "Fantastic passages" (1837), "Children's scenes" (1838), "An album for youth" (1848), etc.

In vocal work, Schumani developed the type of lyrical song F. Schubert. In a thinly designed picture, Schumann songs displayed the details of the moods, the poetic details of the text, the intonation of the live language. The role of piano accompaniment increased by Shuman gives a rich outline image and often shakes the meaning of the songs. The most popular of its vocal cycles is "the poet's love" to the verses of Gayne (1840). It consists of 16 songs, in particular, "Oh, if the flowers guess", or "I hear the songs of the sounds", "I meet in the garden in the garden", "I'm not angry", "in a dream I cried bitterly", "you are evil , evil songs. " Another storyline vocal cycle is "Love and Women's Life" on poems A. Shamisso (1840). A variety of songs in the meaning of the song are included in the "Mirty" cycles on the verses of F. Ryuckert, I. V. Götte, R. Burns, Gaine, J. Bairon (1840), "Around the songs" on the verses of J. Eichendorf (1840). In vocal ballads and songs-scenes Schumann affected the very wide range of plots. A bright sample of the Civil Lyrics of Shumanan - Ballad "Two Grenaders" (on the verses of Gayne). Some Schisan's songs are simple sketches or household portrait sketches: the music is close to the German folk song ("People's Song" on the verses of F. Ryuckert, etc.). In the Paradise and Pare Osoria (1843, on the plot of one of the parts " Eastern "novel" Lalala hands "T. Mura), as well as in the" scenes from Faust "(1844-1853, according to I. V. Götte), Schumann came close to the exercise of his long-standing dream of creating a opera. The only finished Opera Shuman "Genovev" (1848) on the plot of the medieval legend did not conquer recognition on the scene. Creative success was the music of Shuman to the Dramatic Poem "Manfred" J. Bairon (Overture and 15 music numbers, 1849). Grave Robert and Clara Schuman

Music performed by Eugene Kisin "Arabesque" (track 1)

Hello, dear guests!

Our today's meeting is devoted to the life and work of the great German composer-romantic and musical writer Robert Shuman. In 2010, the entire music community celebrates the 200th anniversary of his birth.

Schumann entered the history of music as a master of musical "portrait" and a musical "story."

It would seem that this is very different, infrequently compatible in the work of one artist of the inclination - to lyric and descriptive, deeply personal and objective. But Schumann is all of contrasts - both as a person, and as an artist. He is greedily interested in life ("I am worried about everything that happens on white light: politics, literature, people"), and he is closed, focused on himself. It gets on violent activity and rare silence. It was the Shumanu, who wrote a lot of brilliant musical critical articles, belongs to the famous paradox: "The best way to talk about music is to be silent about her." And finally, if you take the most intimate in his music - lyrics, it strikes the contrasts of "storms and onslaught" and a quiet, almost detached dreaminess.

Slide 2.

"For the configuration, Robert Schuman was statutory, even large. In his posture, in good times, there was something proud, the majestic, fulfilled peace and dignity, the gait, on the contrary, is usually slow, silent, as if slightly and smoothly swaying, often in his room he walked on tiptoe and certainly in felt shoes. Eyes most often omitted, half-closed, the eye was revived only in conversations with loved ones. The features of the face as a whole produced a pleasant impression. The most characteristic of his full, round, blooming face, were eyes and thinly outlined mouth with usually slightly stretched forward, as if ready to witness with lips. Above the stupid shape, a large forehead rushes, noticeably dried to the temples. In general, his head with thick and rather long brown hair left an impression of some kind of dying, extraordinary force. Some sharpness of the features were usually smoothed by the most mild and good-natured expression of the face "- so described the noise of his friend and Biographer Wilhelm Vasilevsky.

Slide 3.

Schumann was born in the provincial town of Zwickau: one of the most beautiful corners of the old Saxony. In young years, during walks and especially in minutes of parting with his native old Zwikkau, Robert loved to take his city from the height of the hills surrounding a long look. Around the immense shirma: greenery of meadows, groves, cultivated fields, soft wavy relief mountains and whimsical bends of the river.

Modern Zwickau is one of the largest industrial centers of Germany. But still preserved the wonderful corners of the old Zwickau, allowing to vividly imagine the pictures of the Shumanovsky era. The center of the Old Town is Marienkirche. His peculiar dark malachite tower is a sample of the Saxon Late Gothic - is visible almost from everywhere. This cathedral now seems huge, majestic. Under the arches of Marienkirhe played outstanding masters of organ art. The features of the distant antiquity imprinted on the building of the gymnasium. As if improving in the ground, the massive case once belonged to the monastery. Zwikkau began the XIX century. - The town is poor, there is a scarce material and spiritual state.

Slide 4.

To this day, a house was preserved, in which Robert Schumann was born (there is now a composer museum in it). Another where he and his family lived since 1817, destroyed during World War II.

Slide 5.

Robert's father - Augustus Schuman - was a man who is passionately loving literature. Together with her brother, he opened a book publishing house and bookstore "Brothers Schumann" in Zwikkau. Beautiful books surrounded Robert since childhood.

He inherited literary gifts. The musical, apparently, from the mother of the Johann of Christians, which friends called the "Live Assembly of Aria": in his youth she loved to sing.

Slide 6.

Robert rose happy, carefree child. He triggered beautiful prayers and verses, loved to collect flowers in the garden and look for beautiful harmonious consonants on the piano. The boy Robert composes poems, dramatic plays, suits theatrical ideas in the house. At the same time, he detects a strong tendency to music. Seeing him constantly singing something, the parents invite the teachers with whom Robert is engaged in seven to fifteen years.

Robert composes music and especially likes to improvise. Comrades gathered around him behind Roya admire and fun laugh at how wonderfully he depicts them in their musical improvisations. So in childhood, his amazing ability was discovered - to create musical portraits.

In 1820, he enters the gymnasium of his hometown And gets a general education there. From this time before the gaze of parents and students, its versatiledating.

Schumanan's father refuses his plans to see his son with a writer, and despite the displeasure of his wife, who considered the fate of the musician very unreliable, decides to send her son next year to learn to Karl Weber's composer. However, Weber, meanwhile, went to England and never returned to his homeland. In London, his death fell.

And on August 10, 1826, the Father of the Future Composer, August Schuman, died. Its plans remained unfulfilled.

Robert was confident that his calling was art, but still did not know what to devote his life - literature or music.

Literature attracted him as strong as music. The 15-year-old gymnasiste hube with hobby organizes a school literary circle.

A circle of reading a young noise is styled. The ancient Greek authors Homer and Plato (the writings of which he reads in the original and translates into German), English - Shakespeare and Byron, Italian Renaissance Epoch and, of course, German writers. Among the latter - his favorite Johann Powl Friedrich: a romantic writer, who printed under the pseudonym Jean Paul.

Slide 7.

In 1828, in the family of friends of the family Schuman Robert meets Frederik Vic, who will play a big role in the life of Shuman, and good, and evil. Vic is one of the best music teachers in Germany. He has its own method of learning the game on the piano, combining the rigor of the technical training with the depth of approach to art. The brilliant confirmation of the advantages of its method is the successes of the little Clara, the daughter of Vika. Schumann takes lessons at Vika. Music is his fade. But soon he decides to leave Leipzig to continue their lawsuits in Heidelberg.

Classes with a well-known piano teacher F. Vikom, visiting concerts in Leipzig, acquaintance with the works of F. Schubert contributed to the decision to devote themselves to music.

It comes 1830. Mother's letters from Heidelberg as if joyful. But one day he writes: "I sometimes throws in the fence when I think about myself. My whole life was a twenty-year struggle between poetry and prose or, let's say, between music and jurisprudence. "

He gently reproaches the mother for the fact that she, let out of good, from her point of view, the motives blocked him this way. "Shade Future and an unreliable piece of bread" - here are the arguments of a loving mother against the profession of the musician.

Robert asks the mother to write in Leipzig to his teacher Friedrich Vika and directly ask, "what he thinks about me and my life plan."

I am readily readiness for about three years to give your son the education needed in order for him to be with his talent and imagination to become one of the largest living pianists among now. (And then five points in Vic outlined the conditions he puts Robert to achieve this goal: the need for persistent systematic classes on piano, music theory, etc.), "Mr. Friedrich Vick replied Mrs. Christian Schuman.

Better you will see me poor and happy in art than the poor and unhappy in jurisprudence. The future is a great word.

So, in alarm, not approved by relatives, Robert Schumann joined the thorny and wonderful path of the musician.

Robert Schumann settled in the house of Vika. He began to work with heat.

In 1831, FRIDERIK VIC with Clara left a large concert trip. Left alone, Robert began to engage with double energy. He wanted to develop his piano technique as quickly as possible and came up with a device to develop independence of each finger. One of the fingers was fixed using a loop in a fixed state at a certain height, others moved at that time. At the end, he stretched the tendon. The hand began to root. Doctors, promise to cure, compresses, baths. Patient waiting. And finally, terrible consciousness - the disease is incurable. Never be noise "One of the largest among the now living pianists", as his mother promised, Frederich Vic in a memorable letter to Zwickau.

In such a sad position, Robert saved only the consciousness of the great creative forces melting in it. In the thirties, his best piano writings appear one after another. Many piano music pages are painted by an autobiographic motif.

Slide 8.

Variations on Abegg, 1830 (the name of a beautiful girl and gifted pianist - familiar Shuman).

"Butterflies" 1829-1831.

In the "Butterflies" (1831), one of the first to the works of Shuman - before us arises a picture of the costume ball, where, according to the composer's plan, there are heroes of the book J. P. Richter "Youth". These are two brothers (one - a dreamy and thoughtful, the other is a gusty and hot) and a young girl in which both are in love. The composer colorfully narrates in the sounds of youth and poetry, about the beauty of art and life, expressive melodies sculpt the memorable images.

In the episodes of "butterflies" come to life and other characters of the costume ball. Shorty plays draw that sad, then dreamy, and sometimes very funny scenes. Last picture - traveling guests: the masks are gradually diverged, the sounds of a national German dance are fought on empty night streets, which in the old days was performed on all fun holidays; Buck the tower clock ...

For 10 years - from 1834 to 1844, Robert works in a weekly "New Music Journal", where most articles write and edit himself on behalf of Florestan and Evsebia. Under these names, one person hides - Robert Schuman. Dreamy Evsebiy and Stormy Florestan, both of them live in his soul.

"Carnival", 1834-1835

"Children's scenes", 1838

This cycle is one of the best piano pieces of the composer. Despite the seeming simplicity, it is worthily to fulfill it for only a very mature pianist, which can not only reproduce music signs, but also to penetrate the essence of the author's plan.

The miniatures included in the cycle are peculiar "musical novels", stories with an uncomplicated plot. Schumann makes focus on the mood, on emotions.

Every musical play is not just a melody, harmony, comfortable appliqué, carefully listened by the ratios of sounds, in addition to the "character", "with temperament". In the musical composition, limitant content: it is hidden the circumstances of the composition of the composer, and the peculiarities of the life of its people, the patterns of his native language and the specificity of the national nature, historical and philosophical ideas may affect. In essence, several clocks can accommodate the whole world. Unwind this complex tangle of hidden meanings is the responsible and fascinating task facing the performer.

Slide 10.

The original program cycle of 13 pieces "Children's scenes" (1938) as the embodiment of the close to the world of children's fantasy and dreams, with funny tricks and games ("Game in Zhmurki", "riding a wand") with unexpected shifts of joyful inspiration ( "Happy content") and Elegy sadness ("Dreams")

"I learned that the fantasy nothing wakes up like a voltage and longing for something; That was how I was with me in the last days when I waited for your letter and crowded whole volumes - a strange, insane, very fun - you will widely open your eyes when you play it; In general, I am able now sometimes break into pieces from sounding [in me] music. - And I would not forget everything I composed. It was like an echo of the words that you somehow wrote to me: "Sometimes I can seem to you with a child," in short, I was truly painted and wrote thirty little funny things, of which selected about twelve and called children scenes. You will refresh them, but, of course, I have to forget about yourself as a virtuoso. There are such names like a horror car, by the fireplace, a game in Zhmurki, asking child, riding a stick, about other people's countries, a funny story, etc., what is there only not! In general, everything is obvious there, and besides, all the plays are easy to hum, "wrote in 1838Robert Schuman His future wife Clare Vic.
Among the most complex piano covers of the Shuman "Children's Scenes" are allocated to seeming ease and undevelopment. However, this cycle became one of his favorite writings for Shuman. Giving the name of the plays, Schumanin first made emphasis on emotions related to one way or another: "The names arose, of course, later and, in essence, are nothing more than any delicate instructions that are intended for execution and interpretation."
Interestingly, it was in the "children's scene" cycle, the composer has more seen a poetic essence of his romantic world.

Slide 11.

There is also a moment in the music of personal empathy and participation: in the full charming mystery of the story.

The world of childhood and his contact with the poetry of distant wanderings - undoubtedly, this topic was deeply held by Shuman. No wonder the play "About other people's countries and people" opens its cycle "Children's scenes".

Sounds play "About other people's countries and people."

Name number 1 could be another, the image of the play is more generalized - the concentration and self-care for childrendreams . Affectionate and bright melody in the first tact color is painted very characteristic of the harmony, which makes the element of the "wonderful", romantic.

Slide 12.

In some plays, you can feel the charm of Shumanovskaya good, but slightly ironic smile ("funny story", "an important event")

Sounds play "Funny History".

Slide 13.

The word burner Ries to the verb "burn", and initially, apparently, in the meaning "to love, suffer from love."

Rules of the game

An open place is chosen for the game - lawn, glade, a wide street in front of the house, a spacious courtyard.

Playing get up in pairs with each other. Ahead of everyone at a distance of two steps back to the playing standing is driven -torchier (burner).

Playing Naraspov say words.

After words, standing in the last pair run from two sides along the column. The Torch is trying to stain one of them. If the running players managed to take each other by his arms before he stains one of them, then they get ahead of the first couple, and the tower leads again. The game is repeated.

If the tire manages to stain one of the running pairs, he gets up with him ahead of the entire column, and the one who remained without a pair burns.

The burners were not originally a children's game: Girls and idle young men played in her. The guy was always chosen, and he could only catch a girl, so the game gave the opportunity to meet, communicate, choose the bride. Obviously, the game imitated the abduction of the bride.

Sounds play "Burleys".

Slide 14.

Unobtrusive repetitive phrases of plea and the question of a timid hope is surprisingly reliably expressed by the composer's sense of the play "Clearing Child".

Sounds play "Cleaning Child".

Slide 15.

The warmth and penetration of Shumanovsky library, devoid of any sentimentality, painted many pages of "children's scenes", but special poetry marked vocal melodies "Dream" and the play "almost serious."

A close and even more romantically raised image of the "Dreams" play, the most popular in the cycle and belonging to the pearls of the Shumanov melodist. It is wonderful as in this play, despite the square of the construction, freely and "infinitely" the melodic flow pours, as he picks up and increases by side votes (not by chance, the play naturally sounds in arrangement for the choir) and how naturally all the fabric is woven Plays, which does not take away the lyrical immediacy of almost improvisational plan.

Slide 18.

The play of "fruity" - firstly like a story about something dose and strange, then in Shumanovsky, an unexpected invasion of the music of "frightening" - mysterious, flashes as a shadow on the wall.

Slide 19.

The final of the cycle - "says the poet" - afterword from the author. Sounds the wise tone of the ponderous poet ("the word poet").

It is known that many of the most heartfelt pages of the Creativity of Shuman are dedicated to Clara: It is a composer in "Gresses", "says the poet" in "children's scenes".

"We have shipped with you the wonderful pages of childhood, bow the same head in front of this increditable beauty ..." So or almost so you can interpret the full nobility and the magnitude of the last lines of the cycle.

Slide 20.

September 12, 1840 - the wedding day of Robert and Clara, the most beautiful and happier, as Clara celebrates in his diary. The five-year period of life of Shuman Biographers refer to the "Level of Combating Clara".

"The happiest" 1840 in the work of Robert Shumana becomes the year of songs.

Slide 21.

He wrote his first songs in early adolescence, but then he did not turn to this genre for a long time. And now for one year only he creates about 140 songs! Here and individual works, and song cycles - "Mirty" (wedding gift Clare), "Love and the life of a woman", "Poet's love" and others.

In 1843, after the triumph of the Oratorio, Paradise and Peri, ViP sews a conciliatory letter to Roberta.

Slide 22.

The tool of Clara stood in the most remote room, the doors of which were inhabited by thick felt. Nevertheless, the sounds of the piano flew to the ears of Robert, distracting him from work. Clara had to play only in his absence.

But the constant creative communication with Robert expanded her horizons, her performance won a lot in the sense of depth and seriousness.

The soul of the artist is multifaceted. Schumann writes a series of small piano plays. This is his famous "Junior Album". The first play "Album" he wrote to the birthday of the eldest daughter Mary.

For young musicians, Schumann wrote more "life rules for musicians." Here is some of them:

"Do not miss ever to listen to a good opera."

"We study as early as possible the basic laws of harmony."

"Always show the care of the cleanliness of your instrument."

"There is no end to the teach."

In Düsseldorf, the position of the city "Music Director" and the city municipality invites Schuman to take it. In 1850, their family moves. In the first months of staying in Dusseldorf, he writes the majestic third symphony (Rhinean). In November 1853, he is forced to leave the speaker's post due to progressive disease.

Shumanna torment auditory hallucinations: he hears that continuously stretching sound, then strangely beautiful music that is performed by some unknown tools.

Schumanim himself asks to put him in the hospital. From March 4, 1854, and to the end, which followed July 29, 1856, he spends in the hospital.

Slide text: prepared a student of 10th grade MOU Ilinskaya Sosh Belov Ivan Robert Schuman Ro Bert Shu Man (Him. Robert Schuman; June 8, 1810, Zwikkau - July 29, 1856, Endenih (now one of the city districts of Bonn) - German (Saxon) composer, Conductor, musical critic, teacher. One of the most significant composers of the era of romanticism.

Slide text: Biography was born in Zwikkau (Saxony) on June 8, 1810 in the family of a book publisher and writer Augustus Shumanan (1773-1826).

Text Slide: In 1828, he entered the University of Leipzig, and next year he went to the University of Heidelberg. Composer's Music Room in Shuman Museum in Zwickau

Slide text: In October 1838, the composer moved to Vienna, but at the beginning of April 1839 returned to Leipzig. Schumann taught in the Leipzig Conservatory established in 1843 by F. Mendelson. In 1844, Schumani, together with his wife, went to the tour to St. Petersburg and Moscow, where they were taken with a lot of honorable. In the same year, Schumann moves from Leipzig to Dresden. There for the first time showed signs of nervous disorder. Only in 1846, the hitch recovered so much that he was able to compose again. In 1850, Schuman was invited to the position of city director of music in Dusseldorf.

Slide text: Creativity Intellectual and Estet, in his music Schumannaya more than any other composer, reflected the personal nature of romanticism. His works are closely related to the traditions of German musical classics. Most of the piano shoven's piano works are cycles of small places of lyric-dramatic, visual and "portrait" genres, interconnected by the inner plotical psychological line. Together with the works of variational and semonate types, Shuman has piano cycles, built on the principle of suite or the Pieces album: "Fantastic passages" (1837), "Children's scenes" (1838), "An album for youth" (1848) and others. Robert Schuman , Vienna, 1839

Slide text: In vocal work, Schumani developed the type of lyrical song F. In the sheraly "Paradise and Pare" (1843, on the plot of one of the parts of the "eastern" novel "Lalala hands" T. Mura), as well as in the "scenes from Faust" (1844-1853, according to I. V. Goethe), Schuman Closely approached the exercise of his long-standing dream of creating a opera.

Slide text: In 4 symphony of the composer (the so-called "Spring", 1841; the second, 1845-1846; the so-called "Rhine", 1850; Fourth, 1841-1851) are prevailing bright, cheerful moods. Significant place in them occupy episodes of a song, dance, lyrical and picture character. Schumann made a great contribution to the musical criticism. Propaging on the pages of his magazine creativity Classic musicians, struggling against the anti-gravity phenomena of modernity, he supported a new European romantic school. Schumann Bicheval Virtuosoism, indifference to art, which hides under the mask of wellness and fake learning. The main of the fictional characters, on the person spoken on the pages of the press, is torture, frantically daring and ironic Florestan and a gentle dreamer of Evzebiy. Both symbolized the polar traits of the character of the composer itself. Shuman ideals were close to advanced musicians of the XIX century. His highly appreciated Felix Mendelssohn, Hector Berlioz, Ferrenz Leaf. In Russia, the Creativity of Shuman was promoted by A. G. Rubinshtein, P. I. Tchaikovsky, G. A. Laroc, "Mighty Cup" figures. By the 200th anniversary of the birth of the composer (2010) in Germany, a memorable silver coin was released with a nominal 10 euro Postage stamp GDR, dedicated to R. Shumanu, 1956, 20 Pfanying (Michel542, Scott 304)
