Vladimir Vasiliev was born on April 18, 1940 in the city of Moscow. Father of the future star, Viktor Ivanovich, worked as a chauffeur. Mother, Tatyana Yakovlevna, worked by the head of the sales department at the felt factory. At seven years, the boy accidentally fell on the class club in the house of the pioneers. Choreographer Elena Ross, who was engaged in children, immediately drew attention to the talent of a little Volodya and invited him to do. So, already a year later, Vasilyev came to the scene of the Bolshoi Theater with Ukrainian and Russian dances.

After school in 1958 he graduated from the Moscow Academy of Choreography. Next, the young man took the Bolshoi Theater to the ballet troupe. Already in the years of study, he struck by the virtuoso equipment and undoubted acting talent, the ability to reincarnate. On the scene "Big" debuted in the ballet "Stone Flower" Yuri Grigorovich in 1959.

Soon Vasilyev, who won the love and recognition of viewers and critics, became one of the leading soloists of the ballet troupe of this theater by more than thirty years. Vladimir V. Vasilyev

Vladimir V. Vasilyev. Born on April 18, 1940 in Moscow. Soviet and Russian ballet artist, balletmaster, choreographer, theater director, actor, artist, poet, teacher. People's Artist of the USSR (1973).

Father - Viktor Ivanovich Vasilyev, driver.

Mother - Tatyana Yakovlevna Vasilyeva, worked in the sales department at the felt factory.

In the choreography turned out to be completely accidental. Then he went to the second class of the school. Somehow walked in the courtyard and his friend called to the Palace of Pioneers to do dancing. As Vasilyev recalled, he came to the first occupation. First of all, the boy struck the teacher: "We were the children of the courtyards, after the war, and here was such a magical creation. She had a stunning hairstyle, she was accompanied by the aroma of the spirits, and it seemed to me that some kind of goddess had come out. And she began Teach Walsa. You know - the first dance, and for me it really turned out to be simple. "

He turned out to be so capable of a student that after his first occupation ended, the teacher asked Vladimir to stay to ... Show another group, how to dance Waltz! "I was simply shocked: the first lesson - and I immediately suggested this! Then there was still a lot of things, she called my mother, told me that I had a talent ...".

So since 1947, he began to do dancing, this, as it turned out, determined all his further fate.

Later he entered the Moscow Choreographic School (now the Moscow State Academy of Choreography), which graduated in 1958, the class of the famous teacher M.M. Gabovich.

In 1958-1988, the leading soloist of the Bolshoi Theater ballet group. In 1959, Sergei Prokofyeva was debuted in 1959 in the Ballet "Stone Flower". And a year later, he became the first performer of the role of Ivanushki in the ballet "Konon-Gorbok".

I just hated them - they didn't have any kind of development: well, well, a blue bird, well, flies and flies. These two roles simply did not pinch me. "

At the same time, a large master, strict to himself, invariably defeated the feeling of dissatisfaction: "For all my life, I danced a lot of performances, I will not even say how much it was, but never satisfied me, at least my performance. You know, never remained Such a feeling: "God, I did it just great!". There was always something in the first act something wrong, then in the second. In another performance, it seems, and everything turned out, but there was no kind of merger with music. I do not know, probably, the artist should always remain dissatisfied. In general, I never considered herself in brilliant. "

From 1961 he was filmed into a cinema, debuting in the role of Ivanushki in the film "Tale about Skake-Gorbunk" directories Zoe Tulubyeva and Alexander Radunsky in the same name of the fairy tale P. Ershov.

Since 1948, Vladimir Vasiliev has already been engaged in the city Palace of Pioneers, with the choreographic ensemble of which in the same year first performed on the scene of the Bolshoi Theater.

In 1949, after the end of the second grade of a secondary school, on the advice of his teacher, he passed the exams in the Moscow Academic Choreographic School, which he graduated from 1958 and immediately was adopted in the Bolshoi-Tetra ballet troupe.

Initially, in the theater, he had characteristic roles: Gypsy dance in opera "Mermaid", Lezginka in the opera "Demon" and others. The first large solo party was the party Pan in the choreographic scene "Valpurgiyeva Night".

On the young dancer danced Galina Ulanova, who invited him to be her partner in the classic ballet "Shopenian". Ulannova had a huge impact on the professional and spiritual formation of Vladimir Vasilyeva, for many years, becoming his friend, teacher and tutor.

Balletmaster Yuri Grigorovich, who then only came to the theater, believed in the talent of a 18-year graduate of the school and entrusted him the central party in his layout of the ballet Sergey Prokofiev "Stone Flower".

In 1958-1988 Vladimir Vasiliev was the leading soloist of the Bolshoi Theater. His wife's constant partner was his wife - Ballerina Ekaterina Maksimov, which he always called his muse.

Among the best roles Vladimir Vasilyev, it is customary to consider the party of the Prince ("Cinderella"), Romeo ("Romeo and Juliet"), Ivan the Terrible ("Ivan Grozny") - All ballets Sergey Prokofiev, Basil ("Don Quixote" of Mincus), Alberta (" Giselle "Adana), Desire (" Sleeping Beauty "Tchaikovsky).

Ballets not only offered to Vasilyev's main roles, but also put on purpose.

He was the first performer of the parties: Ivanushka ("Konk-Gorboon" Rodion Shchedrin), Kais-Medezhnun ("Leyly and Medezhnun" Sergey Balasanyan), Nutcracker ("Nutcracker" Peter Chaikovsky), Spartak (Spartak Aram Khachaturian), Sergey ( "Angara" Andrei Eshpaya).

Being in the heyday of performing skills, Vasilyev appeals to choreography.

Since 1971, he puts ballet performances in the Soviet Union and abroad.

His ballet master debut was the ballet "Ikar" Sergey Slonimsky on the scene of the Kremlin Palace of Congresses. Later, he put the ballet "these charming sounds" (1978), "Macbeth" (1980), the original TV hosts "Annie" (1982) and the "House of the Road" (1984) Valery Gavrilina. For these works, he was awarded many prizes. For the TV host "Annie" - the Prize of Intervillaries at the International Film Film Festival "Zlata Prague" (1982), a big prize for musical films in the X All-Union Festival Festival in Almaty (1983), a prize for the best performance of the season in the theater "San Carlo "(Naples, 1986), the prize for the best Chekhov play at the Chekhovsky festival in Taganrog (1986).

For the TV House "House of the Road" at the International Festival of Telefilms "Zlata Prague" (Prague, 1985), Vasilyev was awarded the Prize "Intervision" and the prizes for the best execution of the male role.
On television, Vladimir Vasiliev also put the television movie "Gospel from the Oven." In Argentina put ballet "Fragments of one biographical", in the US - "Don Quixote".

He also puts Opera: In the Tashkent Theater named after A. Navoi Vasilyev, I put Opera-ballet Tahir and Zuhra to the music of Jalilov (1977), in the Moscow Theater "New Opera" - Requiem "Oh, Mozart! Mozart ..." . Mozzart, Salieri, Roman Korsakov (1995), on the stage of the Bolshoi Theater "TRAVIATU" Verdi (1996) and choreographic scenes in the Opera Mussorgsky "Hovhanshchina", as well as in Opera "Aida" Verdi on the stage of the Roman Opera (1993) and Arena di Verona (2002).

Creative interests of Vasilyeva extended to other fields of art - he starred as a dramatic actor in the art films "Gigolo and Gigoletti", Fuete, in the film "The Gospel for Few", speaking not only, as a performer, but also like a choreographer and Director-director.

Vasilyev starred in the film-skate-humpback ballet shields (1961), "Pieror Kizh" (1969), "Spartak" (1976), "I want to dance" and "fragments of one biography" (1985); Original TV hosts: "Trapeze" (1970), "Annie" (1982), "Road House" (1984); Movie-concerts and documentary films: "Way to Big Ballet" (1960), "USSR with an open heart" (1961); "Moscow in notes" (1969), "choreographic novels" (1973), "Classical Duets" (1976), "Pages of modern choreography" (1982), "Gran Pa in White Night" (1987), "Glory of a big ballet" (1995) and others.

Interesting experiments were his work on the dramatic scene: the choreography of the tales-comedy "Princess and the Woodrovosk" in the theater "Contemporary" (1969) and the Rock Opera "Junon" and "Avos" in the theater Lenk (1981) and others.

Vladimir Vasiliev also deals with pedagogical activities. In 1982, he graduated from the choreographic faculty of Gityis in the specialty of the balletmaster-director and from the same year began to teach there.

From 1985 to 1995, Vasilyev was the head of the Hortis Choreography Department (rati). In 1989 he was assigned a scientist of the professor.

During his creative career, Vasilyev played a lot abroad - in the "Grand Opera", "La Scala", "Metropolitan Opera", "Covent Garden", Roman Opera, the "Colon" theater, and so on. Some time Vladimir Vasiliev worked as the artistic director of the ballet of the Roman opera.

In 1977, the French choreographer Maurice Bezhar put specially for him his version of Ballet Igor Stravinsky "Parsley". In 1982, Franco Dziffirelli invited him and Catherine Maksimov to participate in the filming of the film Opera "Trestiat" (Spanish dance - statement and execution).

In 1987, Vasilyev fulfilled the role of Professor UNRAT in the production of Rolan Petit "Blue Angel" to the music of Konstan ("Marseille ballet"). In 1988, he fulfilled the main batch of Zorba in the setting of Lorka Measin "Greek Zorba" to the music of Mikis Teodorakis ("Arena di Verona"). In 1989, Bepp Meneghatti set the play "Nizhinsky" with Vladimir Vasilyev in the lead role (San Carlo Theater).

In 1988, as a result of the conflict, which arose between Vladimir Vasilyev and Yuri Grigorovich because of serious differences in creative positions, Vladimir Vasilyev and Ekaterina Maksimov left a large theater.

Vladimir Vasiliev worked as a balletmaster troupe of the Kremlin Palace "Ballet Kremlin", where he put several performances, including Cinderella.

From March 1995 to September 2000, Vladimir Vasilyev was the artistic director of the State Academic Bolshoi Theater of Russia.

With it, a modern contract system was approved in the theater; The traditions of the benefits were revived: core land, choir and orchestra; Own video studio of the theater and the release of a permanent transmission cycle on the TV channel "Culture" were organized; A press service was created and the official page of the Bolshoi Theater on the Internet was opened; Publishing activities (including the emergence of the periodic publication of the glossy magazine "Big Theater"); Started preparation for the reconstruction of the theater, incl. Film first

The work of Vladimir Vasilyeva coincided with the two best era of a large ballet - Epoch L. Lavrovsky and Epoch Yu. Grigorovich. He came to the theater when Leonid Lavrovsky headed the Ballet Theater's great creator of Romeo and Juliet. It was the era of Lavrovsky, the "Epoch of the Dramblet", as His historians called, put a big ballet on those positions in the world, which he has been occupied for several decades.

The film is the second.

Leonid Lavrovsky was distinguished by an amazing quality - he was not a dictator in those difficult times. Together with him created their great cloth choreographers R. Zakharov, V. Vinonen, V. Chabukyani, A. Messer, K. Goleyovsky, L. Jacobson. With all V. Vasiliev met in his work. The story of Vasilyeva complements the panorama of the chronicles - fragments of ballet and rehearsals of great masters, which saved only the film for the story.

Film Third

Ballet stamps are what the art of ballet ruins. Music stamps are harmful not only to music, but also violate the meaning of the ballet language. Yuri Grigorovich was those who declared an irreconcilable war with ballet stamps, including musical. With his arrival in the Big Theater, a new aesthetics came, a new ballet tongue, a new era. He put the ballet "Nutcracker", "Spartak", "Ivan Grozny", "Romeo and Juliet", "Legend of Love", "Golden Age". On tour abroad with Grigorovich, the ballet troupe went large to 96 times. A special place is the ballet "Spartak". The image of Spartak Vasilyeva stood up in the same series of immortal creations in the ballet as Juliet Galina Ulanova, the swan Anna Pavlova. Vladimir Vasiliev calls years working with Yuri Grigorovich the best pages of his biography. The records of performances and fragments of rehearsals are preserved, which can give an idea of \u200b\u200bthe amazing atmosphere, which created Grigorovich ballets.

Fourth film

short biography

Vladimir Vasiliev is an outstanding dancer, who struck by artistry and the technical equipment is not one generation of viewers. In addition, Vladimir Viktorovich is a member of the Russian Academy of Arts and the International Creative Academy. However, few people know that the creative heritage of ballet genius is not limited to dancing.

Vladimir Vasiliev was born in Moscow on April 18, 1940. Father of the future star, Viktor Ivanovich, worked as a chauffeur. Mother, Tatyana Yakovlevna, worked by the head of the sales department at the felt factory.
At seven years, the boy accidentally fell on the class club in the house of the pioneers. Choreographer Elena Ross, who was engaged in children, immediately drew attention to the talent of a little Volodya and invited the boy to do. So, already a year later, Vladimir Vasilyev first reached the scene of the Bolshoi Theater with Ukrainian and Russian dances.

Vladimir Vasilyeva's creative biography continued in the walls of the Moscow choreographic school. The teachers noted not only the undoubted talent of Vladimir, but also acting abilities: the young man, in addition to the ideal technical execution, invested in the emotion dance, expression, with ease reincarnated into the heroes of the productions as a real artist.
In 1958, Vasilyev, graduating his studies, began to serve in the Bolshoi Theater, becoming an official member of the ballet troupe. At first, Vladimir Viktorovich got the characteristic roles: in the "mermaid" dancer performed the Gypsy dance, in the "Demon" - Lezginka. But soon the inimitable Galina Ulanova drew the attention to the novice dancer, offering Vasilyev the party in the classic ballet formulation of "Shopenian". That was not just a party, but a duet with the most Ulanova. After that, Galina Sergeyevna will remain another and mentor Vladimir Vasilyeva.

I drew attention to Vasilyeva and Yuri Grigorovich, theatrical balletmaster. Vladimir seemed to Grigorovich a very promising dancer. Soon Vasilyev received the main batch in the ballet "Stone Flower". This formulation presented the dancer of the first fans and fans, not alien art. Following this, Vladimir Viktorovich fulfilled the main parties in Cinderella (Prince's Party), Don Quixote (Basil), "Giselle" (Albert's Part) and "Romeo and Juliet" (Young Romeo).
Long 30 years old, Vladimir Vasilyev gave a large scene. Since 1958 to 1988, the dancer was listed by the leading ballet soloist of the theater. Ballerina Ekaterina Maksimova, wife Vladimir Vasilyeva, became a permanent partner of a talented baluner.

Dance successes Vasilyeva saw not only the walls of the Bolshoi Theater. The dancer visited the tour in the Paris Grand Opera, the Italian La Scala Theater, the New York Metropolitan Opere, London Covent Garden.
In 1988, Vladimir Vasilyev and his permanent partner and his wife Ekaterina Maksimova left the big one. The reason was the creative dispute with Yuri Grigorovich. Vladimir Viktorovich continued his creative career as Konruku of the State Academic Bolshoi Theater, this position will remain at the dancer until 2000.

In the 1990s, Vasilyev worked on the productions of Tahir and Zuhra, "Oh, Mozart! Mozart ... "," Traviata "," Khovovshchina "," Aida "," Cinderella ". After a break, in 2010, Vasilyev presented the ballet "Red Mac" in Krasnoyarsk. 2011 was marked by the formulation of the ballet Bald for children.

In 2014, Vasilyev had an honor to personally speak in the ballet "First Ball of Natasha Rostova." This mini-production was prepared specifically for the concert on the opening of the Sochi Olympic Games. Vladimir Viktorovich got the party Ilya Andreevich Rostov. In the same year, Vasilyev presented to the audience a project on the works of Viktor Astafieva. Staging consisted of six dance miniatures.
In 2015, in honor of the 75-year-old anniversary of the dancer, the premiere of the ballet play "Donna Nobis Pasem" was held on the music of Bach. The jubilee came as a ballet director, the batch was performed by the dancers of the Tatar Academic Theater named after Musa Jalil.
