My tool thickness preferences are:

a) the main drawing will be convenient to draw 0.3 mm liner;

b) objects in the far plan - 0.1 mm;

Paper

Paper will suit any. You can start a notebook type with dense sheets so that you can draw on both sides. I have several types of notebooks. This is a watercolor notepad on the spring, Moleskin, ordinary printer sheets, bonded by a metal spring and, which I sewed my own.
