Lively Galatey's gods, not alien to charming female vices, wants to fulfill all his whims, wants everyone to receive expensive gifts from the rich patron of Midasa, and from Ganamed, the sculptor servants wants love. And the suffering of Pygmalion thus stunned the gods to turn the windy galate back to the statue, after which he sold it to Midasa.

The Pyatigorsky Theater has already appealed 30 years ago to this operetta, putting it, naturally, in the spirit of the realities of the past, twentieth century. And here is the director and artistic director of the Theater of the Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation Svetlana Kalina, director Inn Khachaturu, Honorary Arts of the SK conductor Vasily Remchekov and Balletmister Tatyana Shabanov again attracted melodies, full of virtuoso brilliance, and a cheerful unpretentious plot was decided to further cummary. They managed to light their idea the whole team, and bright, memorable ideas, full of fascinating turns and interesting characters were born.

Surprises were expected by the audience before the start of the performance. Galatia came to life (Honorary Artist of the Arts of Oksana Klimenko), such a desired Pygmalion (Alexey Yakovlev) - an idealist hovering in the clouds. About the work of A. Yakovlev, it should be said that in his expressive game a lot of charm, lively faith in love and in everything he does on stage, visually drawing us a hero living in his own Mirka. This immediately enjoys Midas (Dmitry Potrov), a simple ancient Greek oligarch, showered by Galatia with jewels, trying to attract it in vain, but who understood that he was interested in her while flowing gifts. D. Potrov created a memorable image of a greedy, mercenary rich, and this role is undoubtedly another creative luck of the artist. But the adversity, dodgy, focusing more than the benefits of Gamironed (Nikita Rykunov) fell to taste with a shavyman. The performer of this character is free, temperamentally copes with the vocal side, and with the art of scenic plastics.

But Galatea! .. The role on which all the action is being held, not only succeeded Oksana Klimenko, the artist developed it, made it much deeper, more considerable, uniting the mythological situation with quite modern realities. Scene of the revival of Galatei, her "duet of kisses" with Garamian played as romances of love, and the scene of the descendant "Vakhanalia", hotly greeted by the audience, - truly creative finding of the artist. It is musical, elegant, plastic, leads a role with a large emotional filler and subtle humor.

And artists who created scenic costumes accurately caught the idea of \u200b\u200bthe director: classic chitons of the heroes contrast with luxurious, "lurking" outfits of Galatei and frivolous, "on the edge of the foul", the nymph dresses performed by ballet artists.

By the way, the ballet made a truly invaluable contribution to the success of the performance: lyrical dance scenes, divertisters, grandiose "anthem of love" with satir, gods and goddesses - all this filled the performance of the effectively expressive atmosphere of an ancient Greek naga, successfully underlined by a light background of unfolding intrigues.

And above all this magnificence reigns the music of Zupe with its inherent milder melon and rhythms, which combines the plot and its incarnation in the unique harmony. By fulfilling this music, the orchestra literally "breathed and lived" in unison with artists. In a word, the creative team managed to create a lightweight, elegant, ironic performance, in which the bright ensemble of vocalists, dancers, musicians interact perfectly interact.
