State concert ensemble of dance and songs "Kuban Cossack Volnitsa" - a team building its repertoire on the material of the dance and song wealth of the Cossack culture of the South of Russia, Ukraine and the North Caucasus.
His story began in 1986 from the collective "Cossack Cor.", which presented the viewer with an entertainment program with the same name. There were dances, songs, folk walking, fair and scenes from the Cossack life. With the light hand of the wonderful composer Grigory Ponomarenko, the team became a business card of Kuban. Eleven songs wrote Grigory Fedorovich for this program: funny and sad, patriotic and lyrical, songs about the expanses of Kuban, about the native land, about the life of the Cossacks, about love, about eternal values.
Joint work with such a master as Grigory Ponomarenko, the team took not only as much good luck, but also as a huge responsibility. Rehearsals, search for material, creating reliable images, selection of decorations (on stage during the action there were sparding, cradle and other attributes of the Cossack life), the responsibility and complete dedication of artists were given "Cossacks" respect and the love of the audience. Since 1990, this team has continued his creative life in the Krasnodar Philharmonic. He significantly increased the skill, expanded the repertoire, changed the geography of touring trips, acquired a new spectator audience and became a state concert ensemble of dance and songs "Kuban Cossack Wolnitsa".
Carefully treating the creative achievements of past years, the team is constantly working on replenishing his repertoire. During rehearsals, not only painstaking work with each participant of the collective, but also pays great attention to the coherence of the executable choreographic room, the transfer of national characteristics of the dance. The scenic art of the ensemble is associated with the traditional culture of the South Russian Cossacks, in the inener unity of the Russian, Ukrainian and Caucasian began. This manifests itself in texts, music, costumes, plastic - Russian delete and openness, Ukrainian humor and lyrism, harsh passion of horses, Cossack pads and scope coexist not by individual numbers, but in a single element of creativity as a valid model of mutual enrichment of the breeding peoples.
