The State Academic Ensemble of National Dance named after Igor Moiseeva is a choreographic ensemble of national dance, established in 1937 by choreographer and balletmister Igor Alexandrovich Moiseyev. The history of the team
Gunt named after Igor Moiseeva was founded on February 10, 1937, a day, when in the Moscow House of the Khoreographer at the address Leontiev Alley, the first rehearsal of the troupe from 30 people took place. The repertoire of the ensemble is about 300 choreographic works created by Igor Moiseev since 1937. The State Academic Choreographic Ensemble "Berezka" - the choreographic ensemble of the Russian folk dance, created in 1948 by the hope of Sergeyev Nadezhnaya.
The name of the ensemble is taken from the first formulation of the Russian girl's dance "Birch" (1948).
Thirty years, Nadezhda Sergeyevna was the artistic director of the collective and never retired from his words. Probably, this also explains the phenomenon of "birch", which very quickly became one of the peculiar and beautiful symbols of Russia. Initially, the team was feminine (until 1959) and the first performance of the team with the eponymous dance took place at the Hermitage Theater in 1948 and had a deafening success. In the future, N. Mitrofan Efimovich Pyatitsky became the organizer of the folk choral singing on the professional scene and the organizer of the first in Russia of the People's Choir (1864-1927).
More than 400 songs recorded on an old roller phonofa, preserved in the archives of Mitrofan Pyatnitsky. Pyatnitsky was so submissive by people's performers that he had a dream to show a Russian song in her genuine form, as she sounded for centuries.
