Diana first fell in love with a young age, as soon as he fell into the troupe of the Mariinsky Theater. Among her colleagues was the Farua of Ruzimatov, young people liked each other instantly. Despite the difference in the age of 13 years, the lovers were found for a long time, they were even called their spouses. There was no official design relationship, but Vishnev considered Ruzimatov's closest and native person. The reasons for their rupture press are not known.

In 2013, rumors about the novel of the girl with Roman Abramovich began to appear in printed publications. But there was no official confirmation of this information, they denied everything. All gossip dispelled when in August of the same year Diana married his producer Konstantin Selinevich. He also has its own business in the United States.

After the wedding, the spouses informed journalists that they were found for a very long time. That is why all rumors about other connections of women can be greatly exaggerated. The marriage ceremony took place in the Hawaiian Islands, friends and relatives were invited.

We met with Diana Vishnevoy in Cannes, where Prima-Ballerina of the Mariinsky Theater came to get the reward "Ballet 2000" as the best ballerina of the year. Last month, Diana turned 40 years old. And this is impossible to believe, looking at this beautiful, young woman, whose career continues to develop rapidly. In the graph of the artist it is impossible to find a single minute. Having settled at the table in the Cannes Hotel Gray d'Albion, she shared with Hellomonaco secret, as she managed to combine a successful ballerina career, be at the head of the popular Context festival and manage his own fund to promote ballet art.

Diana Vishneva in Gray D'Albion in Cannes - Interview for Hellomonaco

Hellomonaco: During the career, you have repeatedly received various awards: from the Grand Prix in Lausanne to the State Prize of the Russian Federation. Which one is most expensive to you?
Diana Vishneva: Awards are different: professional, state, spectator. At the beginning of the way, I looked at them, as an advance, since it was still a lot of goals and achievements. Now it came to the consciousness that your work is appreciated, you go on the right path. Of course, it is always nice to receive awards, they bring professional satisfaction. But this is not what I think and what I strive for.
Hellomonaco:You grew up in a family, far from ballet art. Your dad is a candidate of chemical sciences, Mom is also a chemist and an economist. How did you get to the ballet?
Diana Vishneva: Frankly, I do not consider myself a ballerina at all. I do not want to diminish any achievements, but there are such dancers in the world that really deserved this title. However, I do not respect myself. I never put the goal of becoming a ballerina, to work in the Mariinsky Theater, to dance "Giselle". This is just the result of the achievements I have sought, every day setting new tasks. After all, I did not want to take in the choreographic school. Almost no one believed that I could first become the best student, then win contests, and then get to the Mariinsky Theater. I can not say that since childhood it was clear that Diana Vishneva will be the one who she is now. I rather consider myself an artist.

Hellomonaco:The profession of ballerina is not of the lungs. You probably had more than once to follow the sacrifices for the sake of a successful career?
Diana Vishneva: Victims are every day, and with age it is felt more and more. On the other hand, when you are engaged in your favorite work and from childhood, it is accustomed to work and achieve the goals set, then the result is worth it.
Hellomonaco: Which teachers mostly contributed to your success?
Diana Vishneva: Probably, my first teacher Lyudmila Kovaleva. When I just came to the School named after A. Ya. Vaganova, she said that "there is something in this girl." I also believe that this person was destined to me fate. I got to her in the initial class, and she released me. It happens rarely, since for two or three years, teachers change. Being in the theater, where I already had two teachers, I continued to work with her. For ten years, almost all evenings after study, I spent her. She is still engaged in me. This is the person who in life with me, she even became my godfather. In principle, each meeting with the new choreographer is strongly turning you and changes.

Diana Vishneva in Ballet "Turns of Love"

Hellomonaco:You dance in two directions: classic ballet and modern choreography. Is it difficult to combine?
Diana Vishneva:These two directions are completely incompatible. When I just started to perform in modern productions, I repeatedly asked the question: "Why do you need it? You have a classic heritage, a wonderful school. " I always understood that modern dance can enrich me. For example, something from the classics I can transfer to modern choreography and vice versa. I still have a very actively dancing classic ballet and can say that it is very difficult to exist immediately in two directions, and even harder there to establish yourself. I can not talk about myself as a classic ballerina, which performs modern dance. I am quite famous in the modern direction and danced on those scenes where there is no place to classic dance.
Hellomonaco:And what is closer to you: classics or modernity?
Diana Vishneva:I work and over the other, improving both directions. I am pleased that my work never turns into a routine, because I always grow and develop. I do not think that the classic ballet is the top of the skill, and the modern dance can also be dancing. Everywhere there are peaks, achievements and difficulties. My understanding of perfection in the classic ballet is to reach the dance to the music of great composers. And in the modern direction, first of all, I am interested in creating my inner world, because the physical component of me is already understandable.
Hellomonaco:Is it difficult to classically dancer in the modern direction?
Diana Vishneva:This is quite individually. It is necessary to have a desire and enormous potential. This is a difficult path, as you have to start from scratch. Coming into a modern dance, you seek you see a new language. Repeat yourself with a preschooler. Not every dancer is ready for this. However, now the artist must be universal. He will not be able to succeed, working only in the classical direction. This is not enough.
Hellomonaco:With Jean-Christoph Mao, you met in 1994 at the international competition in Lausanne, where the current choreographer Monte Carlo has awarded you the main prize. How did this affect your career?
Diana Vishneva:Competition in Lausanne was a kind of jump in Western fame. Then I learned exactly thanks to him. Jean-Christoph was the man who, along with other members of the jury, was seen only by my two-minute solo. Then everyone was told to him that "this girl is not what we used to see in the ballerina." Jean-Christoph always remained in my memory, because from the very beginning he saw what I came to today.
Hellomonaco:At the end of September, you will return to us with the formulation of the "King's Divertiment". What is the french king Louis?
Diana Vishneva:The premiere of the play will soon be held in New York, and I still do not really imagine how my "I" respond to this party will respond. I already had similar projects, I changed out in a man in the "Park" setting of Park. By the way, if before the women's parties were performed by men, why would a woman not play a male role today?

Diana Vishneva in the Park Staging Park

Hellomonaco:What motivates you for a constant movement forward?
Diana Vishneva:From school bench it was great dancers, then choreographers. Now friendly relationships with them motivate me. I found the incredible Pleiad of recognized choreographers, with whom I managed to work.
Hellomonaco:In addition, do you have any hobbies? How do you spend your free time?
Diana Vishneva:All my life my schedule is clogged to such an extent that there is almost no free week. This is not because I want it, but because there is just a huge collection of what I want to try. All my free time is aimed at recovering as quickly as possible after performances, get as much strength and energy as possible. I can not say that while traveling, I can enjoy shopping or see sights.
Hellomonaco:Which parties was the most difficult for you?
Diana Vishneva:You know, they still have all such complex. No light paths and parties. It all depends on how much you give dance. You can dance so that after that a week you will go away. It all depends on the internal work, the ability to keep the hall, to affect the viewer, give him what he will remember all his life. This is a huge return, after which it is necessary to recover. When I dance on stage, time stops. I am in some other space.
Hellomonaco:How did the profession of ballerina affect your personal life? Do you follow the figure, limit yourself in food?
Diana Vishneva:In this regard, I was a happy child. My mom is half Tatarka, it prepares perfectly, so healthy homemade food is important for me. I do not perceive the publicity, do not eat fast food. I became very selective in this plan. During travel, I go to restaurants that already know. In principle, the myth of diet should be dispelled. If you have problems with the figure and have to limit yourself in food, then, unfortunately, you should not go to the ballet. Ballet art, like professional sport - very exclusive activities for which good health is necessary.
Hellomonaco:You are an art director of the Context dance festival. How did you come to the idea of creating a similar event?
Diana Vishneva:My festival exists in Moscow for three years. The idea of creating a context arose after I began to get acquainted with novice choreographers and had better learned about the problems they face. Thanks to the festival, I support them, give them a chance to show your production. By the way, the choreography for the "king's divertiment" just created a young choreographer Maxim Petrov, who started at my festival.
Hellomonaco:How do you have time to combine ballerina career with the right director of the Popular Festival, and at the same time control the activities of your own fund?
Diana Vishneva:We must pay tribute to my husband who performs an incredible amount of administrative work, providing me with more time for creativity.

Diana Vishnev - a Russian ballerina known for the whole world, the former primaries of Mariins, the owner of many prestigious international awards, was born 07.13.1976, a native Leningrad.

Childhood

Girl's parents are ordinary engineers who can not even say that they were big ballet lovers. In fact, love for great arts them instilled daughter - an unusually intended and talented girl who showed magnificent plastic and beautiful artistic abilities in early childhood.

Its natural grace and the sophisticated appearance of Diana inherited from the mother of Tatar by nationality. Many years ago, she came to learn to Leningrad, met another student Gennady Vishneva, married him and remained living in the city on the Neve, where two beautiful girls were born, the youngest of which glorified their relatives to the whole world.

Diana in childhood

The baby was very thin and fragile. When she stated her mother that he wanted to study in a ballet school, she was lambered, whether the daughter of physical endurance is enough for many hours of complex workouts. Nevertheless, they went to the dance circle at the Palace of Pioneers. The baby was taken with pleasure.

What was the surprise of teachers, when after several classes she showed itself not in childish serious, attentive, thoughtful student. The girl as a shadow repeated every pedagog movement, trying to catch the smallest nuances. Diana simply fell in love with the ballet from the very first movement, and in thoughts I have already seen myself a famous ballerina.

Realizing, with what seriousness, the daughter refers to his hobby, parents began to promote in every way and support the girl. When after a couple of years of classes, she asked her to take her to exams in the most prestigious St. Petersburg choreographic school, Mom did not protest.

The exam Diana could not stand it. But he did not put his hands, as many would have done in her place, and began to study even more stubbornly. With the third attempt, she managed to enroll in the country's best ballet school.

Star hour

It was hard to do. Constant fatigue, eternal pain in the legs, many hours of exercises at the machine. Now she himself is surprised where the 11-year-old child had forces on all this. But then Diana thought not at all about difficulties. She flew like a butterfly, on the wings of her dreams, not paying any attention to what was happening around.

The first international bonus, which Diana received even without finishing the School became a reward for many years of work. At the prestigious international ballet competition in Lausanne, the 18-year-old ballerina was at the same time a gold medal and the main prize. It was a truly triumphal exit. She stated to all of Europe about himself as a rising star of Russian ballet.

Already a year after the completion of training in the ballet school, Diana enters the main structure of the Mariinsky Theater troupes, which for young artist is almost incredible success. But there, miracles continue - on the first play, it appears on stage in the lead role.

The name of the ballet is very symbolic - "Cinderella". The whole career of the famous dancer something reminds a happy fairy tale.

At the 20th age, her main dream came true - Diana comes out as a soloist on the scene of the Bolshoi Theater. Now she considers his career held. By this time, she already has time to get some more prestigious international awards for the best performance of complex parties. But this takeoff, as it turned out, was only a rapid start.

After several years of deafening success in Russia and Europe, Diana begins close cooperation with the American ballet theater. A few times appeared as part of his troupes on stage, in 2005 she officially becomes a primary and signs a contract with the theater.

Do not forget Vishnev and about his native Mariinsky. His first creative anniversary - 10 years of going to the stage - she noted on this stage a new copyright, in which she performed as a soloist and the main choreographer. The performance was admired not only by the audience, but also critics.

Previously, Diana was also shot a lot for advertising, now for almost 10 years she is the face of the fashion house "Tatiana Parfenova". In 2010, Diana founded a charitable organization, the purpose of which is to help young talented ballerinas and the popularization of ballet among young people.

Personal life

How Vishnev herself is joking, for a long time his only love was ballet. The personal life simply did not have time and strength. And only when she became a soloist of Mariins, the girl had the first novels. However, she still lived with art and she needed not just a beliefer, but a like-minded man.

With Konstantin Selinevich

She met such a person by chance in 2008 at the Beijing Olympiad. They turned out to be a hockey manager Konstantin Selinevich. He played a last role in the establishment of ballerina's career on the stage of the American Ballet Theater. And in 2013, the couple officially issued relations, playing the original wedding in the Hawaiian Islands.
