Diana Vishneva: Frankly, I do not consider myself a ballerina at all. I do not want to diminish any achievements, but there are such dancers in the world that really deserved this title. However, I do not respect myself. I never put the goal of becoming a ballerina, to work in the Mariinsky Theater, to dance "Giselle". This is just the result of the achievements I have sought, every day setting new tasks. After all, I did not want to take in the choreographic school. You have a classic heritage, a wonderful school. " I always understood that modern dance can enrich me. For example, something from the classics I can transfer to modern choreography and vice versa. I still have a very actively dancing classic ballet and can say that it is very difficult to exist immediately in two directions, and even harder there to establish yourself. I can not talk about myself as a classic ballerina, which performs modern dance. I am quite famous in the modern direction and danced on those scenes where there is no place to classic dance.
