They recorded in Tver, where and most of my plates, in the studio Salam. I work there from the 91st year, that is, 22 years already. Before I came to them, I just two plates - although what plates, the cassettes - recorded. But I could not find comrades in the sound, so that they could create with me together, and not just time to work out. In general, found such guys who will not let you go without good material, in Tver.

Now I often in Moscow I can record some separate tracks - you can't drive into Tver constantly. Or we can reduce in the states. But the beginning of the process, the creation of the arrangement still happens in Tver, because I'm used to. There are native walls, there I will lock for two or three days and I give out.

Well, did you have any references?

Naturally. A set of techniques, acquaintances of the lands, chips from any musician there. As a basis, I took Latin, country and blues techniques. All this was put on its own melodic texture, a symbiosis was obtained. But ultimately, it was still impossible to do similar to someone specifically, because pop music is the most difficult genre. Well, if there is a guitarist, who is almost like Paco de Lucia, but at the same time it does not copy it completely, but does something of his own. I was lucky to find such a musician. This is Sasha Oltsman, who played all guitars on the first record. He once worked in the "Singing Hearts" group, in which my dad was director and tour. Sasha remembered me little yet, and then I met him by chance, asked to help. And he says: "You can't imagine, I spent three years in the Spanish Kabachea and so stuffed my hand on Flamenco, I will help you exactly!" I was delighted, but I confess, which level he showed, I did not expect. He is just a genius. And at the same time he plays flamenco, but completely in our place, in Russian.
