In the final series of posts, "brought" from the June trip to St. Petersburg - PhotoradStskaz about the multimedia exhibition "Aivazovsky and Marinists. Live webs", which is now in the northern capital on the territory of the creative space of weaves (the embankment of the bypass canal, 60).

Here in diverse projections you can see the revived canvas of famous marinist artists - Lyudolf Bakchyizen, Willem Wil de Wilda younger, William Turnner and, of course, Ivan Aivazovsky.

In fact, I fell to this exhibition almost by chance. Inquite of my friends, did not bring the multimedia exhibition "Great Modernists", which I am in general, I learned that the modernists are still not here, but there are marinists yet. Well, marinists, led by Aivazovsky, is also very not bad.

Before entering the "Exhibition Hall", everyone passes through a fairly large and bright space, where everything is imbued with the marine theme ...

Here it was possible to feel like a real sailor sitting in a boat or sleeping in a hammock ...

Or a marinist artist, creating his masterpiece, well, and in general, it is generally nice to spend time ...

But nevertheless, the main thing is to enjoy the picturesque marine landscapes of outstanding marinists ....

Lyudolf Bucheizen (1630 - 1708) - one of the most famous marinist artists of Holland.

Lyudolf Bakhasegen began his creative career as a calligrapher, but later dedicated himself to the image of the sea and the canvas on biblical topics. His paintings of the raw sea are distinguished by masterfully selected by several cold colors tones. Contemporaries of the artist argued that in order to see the formidable element with his own eyes, Bakhayizen was ready to make ribs in the sea in any weather. The painter often set himself into the place of sailors in their fight against the Terrible nature.

His workshop was visited by the princes and nobles and generously paid his work. Early works of the artist are valued above. In 1701, Lyudolf Bucheizen released a series of 10 engravings called "Stroom Ep Zee Gezlchten". In addition, he made a model of all sorts of designs of vessels by order of Peter the Great.

A century later, the Master's canvas was still popular and received a high assessment of the Iivazovsky itself, who studied them in the Hermitage Halls. Now, with the canvas of a Dutch painter, you can get acquainted in the museums of Feodosia, Berlin, Florence and in private collections of England. (Hereinafter - I use the accompanying texts to the exhibition, highlighting them in italics).

Villem Wang de Velte Jr. (1633 - 1707) - the most famous and most talented Netherlands artist from the Van de Veld family.

Willem studied at his father Villem Wang de Elder senior shipbuilding and drawing, then studied painting at Simon de Flyger. In the first half of his life, Villem Van de Velda junior was engaged in the image of the victories of the Dutch Fleet. In 1677 he entered the service for the English king of Karl II. After the death of Charles II, for a while he returned to the Netherlands, but soon he was again called to serve in England King Yakov II.

In the color of the color of the sea scenery with a shade of solemn heroics, the artist Villem Van de Velde has portrayed a calm or slightly growing sea with large silhouettes of ships and a high sky with spawning clouds. For his works, the artist was nusted by Raphael of marine painting. Posted by such pictures as "County" (1657, National Gallery, London), "Salute Salt" (1666, Picture Gallery, Berlin-Dale), "Ship in Storm" (1680) and others.

He had many imitators who used even his signature and a monogram. Villem Van de Velda younger left behind a huge heritage. His works are stored in the London National Gallery and private English collections, in Amsterdam Reyxmusee, the Hague, Berlin, Munich, Vienna and Paris. In the Hermitage there are three pictures of Villem Van de Velte Jr.. In addition to paintings, it left a plurality of drawings, the number of which exceeds 8000.

Joseph Mallord William Törsner (1775 - 1851) - british painter, master of romantic landscape, watercolorist and engraver.

English artist William Turner was born in 1775 in London. His father worked the barber and contained his own hairdresser, where he highway his little son. Later, a young 15-year-old artist posted his work at the Royal Academy of Arts, and in 1802 he became the youngest member of the Academy.

Turner - landscape of a completely new warehouse. His style is pure romanticism. His innovative style was obvious already in the 1800th. Romanticism both in the technique and in the plots. In the paintings of Turner, there is most often there is a movement, for example, the excited sea, ships, as well as sunrises, sunsets, fogs, smokes. He passed these effects with unprecedented freedom and courage, turning the landscape into a shining whirlwind of paints. Constable said: "Turner put his gold vision, magnificent and beautiful; let just vision, but still this art, near such pictures you can live and die."

Contemporaries Joseph Malopad Turner called his painter "Golden visions, magnificent and beautiful, although not having substances." He conceived to portray the sun, sunlight and solar lighting with such a truth, which before him in painting has not yet been. He was looking for a long time, but he achieved himself and expressed on the canvas what no one really could have depicted him. In it, the virtuoso technique and obliqueness, closure and desire to serve people, a practical interpreting and philanthropy, reverence of the picturesque traditions of the past and tireless searches of their own language, combined in it. Turner left a huge heritage after himself: 300 paintings by oil and 19,000 drawings.

Ivan Konstantinovich Aivazovsky (1817 - 1900) - an outstanding marine, glorified Russian art throughout the world.

Aivazovsky's youth is associated with the flourishing of Russian culture at the beginning of the XIX century. He was born in Feodosia in the family of a ruined Armenian merchant. The noise of the surf, the game of sun glare on the water surface, the ships in the harbor captured the boy's imagination. He drew the coal on the white walls of the Crimean houses, the whole scenes. These drawings noticed and appreciated the Feodosia Gardener, with the help of which the boy entered the Simferopol gymnasium, and then in 1833 in the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts. From the very first days of stay, Ivan showed himself as a successive and giving high hope student. Years years were filled with tirelessly labor, the joy of creativity, happiness to meet famous people. For the exhaust work of the artist awarded the gold medal of the first degree, which gave him the opportunity to improve his creativity abroad.

Aivazovsky opened his image of the image of the element of memory, limited only to the bridal sketches of the pencil. In the workshop, nothing was supposed to interfere with him to focus on bright memories. Justifying this method, the artist said: "The movements of the living elements are elusive for the brush: to write zipper, impulse of the wind, a splash of the wave is unthinkable with nature. For this, the artist and must remember them, and these accuracy, as well as the effects of light and shadows, furnish their picture. " Phenomenal memory and romantic imagination allowed him to do it with a unique shine. The method of improvisation is made even huge webs that the artist completed during one session. Aivazovsky did not make amendments, only occasionally, when the picture was already written, he returned to it to enhance the effect of a transparent wave or a depth of the sea puchin.

The method of improvising Aivazovsky used throughout the sixty-year-old creativity. During this period, more than six thousand marine were created. He always worked easily, quickly, artistic. I never hid my professional secrets, wrote in the presence of friends, visitors to the workshop. "With young brilliant eyes, as directed to the coming canvas, the artist was positive effectively ... On the satisfaction of the face, it was safely thought that such a work was true pleasure," he wrote one of the eyewitnesses.

And painting presented a new interest in art, changed his perception. A vivid example of this is the unique exhibition "Ayvazovsky and Marinists. Live cloths.
