Do you believe that the Council will have some influence on the president?
Personally, I do not feed special illusions. I do not think that he is very much needed power. It is quite possible, it is just another tribute to convention.
Why did you agree to this work then?
I was always guided by the principle of "do what you can - and be it will be."
In fact, the list of names approved by the president, many surprised. It so happened that recent years I actively engaged in the problems of orphans and children with disabilities. I think I will continue to oversee these questions and the Council. Problems, in fact, a lot. For example, in a successful Moscow last year, the device of orphans in the family decreased. How to explain it? One of the reasons may be that people working in the orphan institution system deliberately do not want to make efforts to disassemble children. After all, if the number of their pupils will be reduced, they will remain without work, and in the yard crisis. Another reason lies in the law "On guardianship and trusteeship", which recently adopted the State Duma and who practically destroys the Institute of Patronics. And the patronage is the maintenance of orphans by professional educators, psychologists, doctors, etc. This makes it possible to arrange not only young children in families, but also adolescents and disabled people. After all, most of all people are afraid to take them. But if they help them, if the state pays extra, if specialists are ready to advise at any stage, to come, help - then take. Well, of course, he does not eat anyone. But all the central channels built a rigid unitigital system. On the first in fact, it all depends on Ernsta, on "Russia" - from Dobromet. The case of Yukos, for example. In my opinion, it should be covered at least because our judicial system showed itself from the blatant side. Two years in a row of solid torment and perfect misunderstanding, what to do next. I do not know. It is said that he was not bad at me. I suspect that it was so. Probably he decided to take a chance and try. But unfortunately ( sighs), very quickly everything has become a problem. First, the live broadcast ended - we went to the record. They crossed, in fact, due to technological difficulties, but on the fact they cut the program mercilessly. Sometimes cut out so that the meaning was completely changed: some people won the discussion in the discussion, and on the ether turned out to be the opposite. There were also comical cases. When I see a bold journalist on the screen, I immediately think: what a brave release editor, or the owner of the television company, or director of the information service. Because over a bold journalist there are always several people who can strongly shorten his courage. And only if this does not happen, we are all witnessing a civil action.
What was the last straw for you, after which you went from the first channel?
The program in which we talked about the attack on Dubrovka. I called on the air of a journalist who worked there, I saw everything with my own eyes. And he, as a witness, spoke a lot about the operations to save hostages, as a result of which more than a hundred people died. Apparently, the conclusions that he did were too sharp for the first channel. As a result, the program remained only "Hello" and "Goodbye". After that, he called me in amazement and expressed everything that he thinks about this. And correctly did. Who else had to call? Unknown editor? After that, I decided to close the program. At the same time, I still remained a regular employee of the canal - right up to the "Teffi" award. The last stage of voting, when academics from three nominees chose one, was open. I voted against two channels of the first channel in favor of some other. As a result, as I was told, the leadership was in anger from such an unfriendly, non-corporate act. It was regarded as a demonstration of revenge on my part. And I really just chose the program that I liked more than others - without any rear thoughts. I used to vote as I want, and not how it is necessary.

No, we did not even say goodbye. If he keeps evil on me, it is in vain - each has its own functions. I'm not so incomprehensible how it seems to him, I just have my own principles too. I respect his lot really. But probably, he has his own skeletons in the closet.
And you never wanted to throw journalism and do something else?
Funny, but you now ask me the question, which I am more than twenty years ago, when I still studied at the studio of speakers of Leningrad television, asked for one television worker. The editorial board decided to search among us leading for new programs, and one of the tests that we were arranged was an improvised press conference. We sat in front of us an experienced journalist, and we asked him various questions. I asked: "I would not like to send everything to hell?" See, everything returns ...

After that, I had the feeling that my life was over, there was no point in doing the profession. But then I realized that I just could not see anything else. I don't want to work in some political party, although I have repeatedly offered. After a long sentence of friends, I tried to work in the Russian union of industrialists and entrepreneurs, I was engaged in PR, but also quickly left. I'm not a party, I have a tight with discipline. So there was nowhere to go - I had to go back to journalism.
The departure from the country never thought?
Not. I am too local if you can express it. Abroad, I often often, in many countries I really like it, but in any case, when I am there more than a week, I get bored. I understand that I can not live abroad. Rest, travel - yes, but not live. Here are all my friends, relatives. And I have a very sociable being.
Here you said that, except journalism, do not know anything else. But what about the specialty of the forest engineering engineer, which you got in the Forestry Academy?
That's rightly called "Forest Engineering". I had a specialization in the gardening of cities and settlements, "in modern language -" landscape design ". But now I could not do this, even if I really wanted. Since the 80s, this profession in our country strongly rushed forward, and the fact that I once knew and knew how to simply do not correspond to the current requirements. In this area, I have been lagging behind forever.
Did you really feel interesting? Or just have nowhere to do more?
No, I finished school with a gold medal and could do anywhere. But I did not have any ideas than exactly I want to do in life. I just liked to learn, I loved the process myself. And when the question arose where to go, I was confused. As a result, I found a specialty exotic at that time. Then I, of course, realized that this was not mine and I did it in vain, but at the same time I still died, again I received a red diploma. Not. ( Smiles.) You know, I am sure that Russia needs to live in Russia. Look: for one my still unfinished, I hope life how much has already happened!
