Decorating a “Parents Corner” according to the seasons with your own hands. Seasonal design of the “Parents Corner”

Proshina Vera Ivanovna – teacher of the MADOU TsRR No. 60 “Fairy Tale”, Likino-Dulevo, Moscow region.
“Parents Corner” contains important information that needs to be communicated to the mothers and fathers of our students. This information is located in the reception room or locker room. I believe that parents and children need to be interested, as they say, right from the doorstep. Therefore, I decided to decorate one of the walls with a bright fairy-tale plot, the theme of which will change with the seasons. In this way, it is possible to solve several problems at once:
1. Decorate the reception area beautifully.
2.Give parents the necessary information.
3. Introduce children to the change of seasons.
4.Create a positive emotional mood in children and adults.
5. To develop in children a desire to help decorate their premises with independently completed work.
6.Nurture artistic and aesthetic qualities in a child.
7. Use minimal costs for registration.

This material will be useful to kindergarten teachers, parents and anyone who is interested in the proposed material.
Target: do-it-yourself aesthetic design of the “Parents’ Corner”.
Tasks:
1.Show design options for the “Parents Corner” in accordance with the seasons.
2.Develop thinking, imagination, artistic and aesthetic taste.
3. Encourage the desire to beautifully decorate your group on your own and at low cost.
I started decorating the “Parents Corner” back in the fall, so I reflected this colorful time of year in the forest clearing, where fairy-tale characters settled among the birch and maple trees: a fox, a hare, an eagle owl, a sparrow and a tit. And this is what I got.

All the birds and animals are painted on the ceiling tiles.

Grass is a decorative lawn that is sold by the meter. I only needed 30 cm in height. I glued it with double tape.

For the maple tree I bought ready-made maple branches.

I made birch branches from an unnecessary rose branch: I separated the leaves and glued them to the stem. You can use dry birch branches.

I purchased cranberries, herbs and mushrooms at the Fix Price store.
I cut pockets for information from ceiling tiles and a transparent sheet from a folder, pasting them around the edges with adhesive wallpaper (self-adhesive wallpaper).

I combined the prepared material into the desired composition and placed it on the entire wall.

When winter came, snow appeared: I cut the light padding polyester into pieces and formed snowdrifts on top of the grass.

The birch branches were covered with frost: the decorative flexible fleecy silver sticks turned into winter branches.

The maple branches were icy from the cold: I cut out pointed round sticks of different sizes from the insulation and glued them to each other with ceiling glue. This is what happened.

The branches were covered with snow: calafiber or decorative snow.
Winter bushes: silvery branches.

The New Year has arrived and this is reflected in the New Year's composition with Santa Claus and Snowman.

And now the long-awaited Spring has arrived! The sun came out. White clouds floated across the sky. Making clouds can be seen here: /blogs/proshina-vera/master-klas-oblaka-i-tuchki.html

The snow has melted and snowdrops have bloomed: I cut them out from magazines at the Magnit store. Older children will be able to draw their own primroses or make them with their own hands.

Buds began to bloom on the trees.

To make branches, you can also use a vine with leaves: I removed the leaves and made blossoming leaves on a birch tree from corrugated paper.

I made the same buds on the maple branches.

The grass has turned green. The purchased lawn looked a bit dark. To lighten the dark tones of the grass, I had to repaint the lawn. To achieve the desired result, I used light green paint (for indoor work). Hillocks appeared.

Hello long-awaited spring!

This composition can be supplemented with various drawings, crafts, and appliques made by children. The wall is constantly being updated. This attracts attention and pleases not only children, but also adults. Snowdrops will be replaced by other flowers. While my kids are little, I hang out some of the purchased items. And when they grow up, there will be a lot of scope for a riot of imagination, the fruits of which will also be seen by their parents.
Soon the snowdrops will fade, the leaves on the trees will bloom, and lilies of the valley, forest carnations and other plants will appear in our clearing. So with new additions and changes we will wait until the summer. Our fairy-tale meadow will sparkle with the bright colors of summer.
I would like to bring to your attention other stands made with my own hands on ceiling tiles for the “Parents Corner”. They are convenient because they are very light and can be hung with tape anywhere and changed as needed and desired.

The richer and more correct a child’s speech, the easier it is for him to express his thoughts, the wider his opportunities for understanding the surrounding reality, the more meaningful and fulfilling his relationships with peers and adults, the more active his mental development is. Therefore, it is necessary to take care of the timely formation of children’s speech, its purity and correctness. Because our task is not only to protect and protect children from difficult (sometimes dangerous) life situations, but also to prepare children to meet them. We constantly play out situations with children, talk through questions that every child should know the correct answer to. answer:

What should you do if there is a fire in your apartment? (Call 01 or from your cell phone 010, 112 and tell them the address of the fire, your name, what is burning and where.)

Is it possible to play with matches and lighters? (No. Matches are one of the causes of fire.)

The main rule in any danger? (Do not panic, do not lose composure.) etc.

Information posted at the stand for parents should be dynamic. The material should be updated at least once every two weeks.

When placing any printed material at the stand (medical advice, psychologist, etc.), a link to the publication, including authorship and year of publication, website name required.

The stand should be colorfully decorated (it is better if it is done by a professional artist). When decorating a stand, you should use not only inscriptions, but also photographs (preferably children of the group and parents). When designing stands, there is no need to overuse decorative elements, naive images of nesting dolls and toys. The ratio of text and illustrations on stands and information media should be approximately 2:6 (2 parts - text, 6 - illustrations), they must first of all attract the attention of parents, then convey the necessary information to them.

1. Parent's corner contains a tablet about the age characteristics of the children in your group. Throughout the year, the material is updated, including in turn the requirements for physical, mental, moral, labor, aesthetic education of children, peculiarities of children’s speech development, self-care skills, etc. (you can indicate what children should be able to do by the middle of the year, by the end of the year etc.).

2. "Our life day by day." The section presents materials about the past day in the form of drawings, crafts, the text of a song learned during a lesson or a walk, the name of a piece of music listened to, a book read to children, etc. The material is constantly updated. It may contain the following appeals: “Mom, learn with me a tongue twister: “Sasha was walking along the highway and sucked on a dryer”; “Dad, ask me a riddle: “He doesn’t bark, doesn’t bite, but doesn’t let him into the house?” etc.

4. "Children's rights." A section for parents, which contains a variety of information on the observance of children's rights in a preschool institution and in the family, addresses and telephone numbers of organizations in your city where you can turn for help, and official documents.

5. Age group mode. It is permanent, but one of the activities is scheduled during the year, for example walk, if it is a target, what date is it planned for, preliminary work, task for parents. After the walk - the children’s impressions, a photo montage, a “report from the walk”, children’s drawings and comments on them, etc. are possible.

Lengthy role play : when it started, roles, attributes, craft assignment. For example, we play hospital - we need gowns, bandages, gauze bandages; play store - attributes for the store. If the plot is fairy tale, the task changes according to the plot of the game, recommendations are given: what to read to the children, what attributes are needed for the game.

This way, you don't just tell or ask parents to replenish your game supply, but show where and how it will be used by children.

Charger: describe individual complexes (can be preventive, hardening, etc.). Prepared by a physical education teacher.

Musical lesson (prepared by music director)- repertoire of the lesson, what works were listened to. You can offer a cassette for listening to the work at home with an annotation of the musical works (recorded by the teacher).

Once a month you need to plan individual work with parents to prepare for the lesson. You are planning a topic about astronautics. Every child, even in the second youngest group, has his own ideas about many things. Make an entry in the “model of three questions” (Svirskaya L. Managers and clients // Kindergarten. Management. 2001 No. 21. P.5.).

6. Bulletin board. Only official information is placed on it: when there will be a parent meeting, performance, etc.

7. Menu. The menu can also be used for individual work with parents. For example, breakfast: “Favorite porridge” (Masha K., Dasha S., Stepy A.) - semolina. Or lunch: pilaf (parents' advice includes original pilaf recipes).

8. If a preschool institution employs specialists such as a speech therapist, a foreign language teacher, a choreographer, etc., there should be a section containing information about these activities.

9. A psychologist, social teacher, medical worker prepares materials for moving folders or, if necessary (for example, the Health program is being implemented, there are many children from socially disadvantaged families, or other reasons), they have a permanent section in the corner for parents. Once a quarter, it is possible to publish a special magazine for parents on a current topic, for example, drug addiction prevention. These magazines are loaned to individual families for one to two weeks. After the parents study the material, the teacher conducts a conversation with them on this issue.

In addition to the stand, it is good to have a cabinet or shelves for displaying children's crafts, drawings, as well as a shelf for newspapers and magazines.

The purpose of the next form of visual propaganda - thematic exhibitions - is to supplement verbal information for parents with drawings, photographs, natural objects (samples of toys, gaming materials, artistic work, etc.) made by the hands of children, parents, and educators.

Thematic exhibitions are created both for the parent team of the entire kindergarten, and for parents of one group. You can involve the parents themselves in their design: entrust the selection of material on a certain topic, find clippings from newspapers and magazines, make patterns for homemade toys. Parenting magazines allow parents to become more familiar with this or that parenting issue.

Magazine "Management of a preschool institution", supplement "Working with parents in preschool educational institutions".

Working with parents

Our corner is addressed to caring parents - mothers and fathers, grandparents, whose children attend our preschool. After all, it is here, in kindergarten, that the mechanisms for a child’s communication with peers and adults are laid, and the first, and therefore invaluable, steps are taken on the path to personality development.

Our corner was created to preserve children's childhood and help parents raise them.

We are glad that our meetings take place not only in kindergarten.

Our kindergarten has adopted the following rules for parents.

1.Bring children on time so that they are not late for morning gymnastics and classes.

2.Provide children with comfortable replacement shoes; sports shoes for joint physical education activities; “Czech shoes”, for music lessons and holidays; spare set of linen.

3.Keep an eye on your children’s sportswear and wash them at least once a week.

4. Attend kindergarten daily.

Information for parents

Collaboration with family. Forms of work.

Children learn from what surrounds them.
If a child is often criticized, he learns to condemn
If a child is often shown hostility, he learns to fight
If a child is often ridiculed, he learns to be timid
If a child is often shamed, he learns to feel guilty
If a child is often treated condescendingly, he learns to be tolerant
If a child is often encouraged, he learns self-confidence
If a child is often praised, he learns to evaluate
If you are usually honest with a child, he learns justice
If a child lives with a sense of security, he learns to believe
If a child lives in an atmosphere of friendship and feels needed, he learns to find love in this world

The success of the educational process in kindergarten directly depends on the degree of coordination between teachers and parents. In this connection, the exchange of information and experience, the search for interesting ways to organize work with children, as well as awareness of the results of the educational activities of children are very important. All these aspects of cooperation are reflected in the corner for parents. And the teacher’s task is to formalize it methodically, competently and aesthetically.

Goals of creating a corner for parents

A stand or shelf, as well as tablets and mats, which are located in the reception area and are intended to familiarize parents with the life of the group where their child is being raised, are called a corner for parents. The goals of its creation are: to awaken family interest in the life of the group and the garden (materials on planned excursions, creative projects, etc.); demonstration of the results of work on the training, development and upbringing of children (photos, photo collages, drawings by children, crafts, including those made with parents, etc.); familiarization with regulatory documents relating to parenthood (information about the rights of the child, a list of the rights and responsibilities of parents, the charter of a preschool institution, etc.)

Material supply form

In order for the corner to fulfill its purpose as much as possible, its design should be varied, but not redundant. Based on the methodological experience of generations of educators, we can conclude that for a beautiful and meaningful parent corner it is enough to choose one of the following items:

  • 1–2 stands;
  • 3–4 tablets (the size is selected according to the dimensions of the corner);
  • 1 table or shelf for the exhibition of children's works (they are conveniently placed in the mat);
  • posters or images of silhouettes of toys, fairy-tale characters.

Content

Children's drawings, bright pictures, photographs of children during activities and walks - this is only part of the design of a corner for parents, the content of which can be divided into two groups of materials: permanent and temporary. The first include:

  • annually updated age characteristics of children;
  • a list of age-appropriate skills and abilities (rewritten every year);
  • daily routine for the current academic year;
  • menu;
  • rules “Every parent should know this”;
  • information about the program under which the preschool child care institution operates;
  • telephone numbers of the teacher, assistant teacher, social service, ambulance, helpline;
  • information from specialists (their names, office hours, phone numbers);
  • tips for training fine motor skills, logic, memory, speaking;
  • notes on disease prevention (organized, for example, in a folder);
  • table with data on weighing and measuring the height of babies;
  • letters of gratitude for parents (for helping the group, kindergarten, etc.).

It’s convenient when a place is allocated in the parent’s corner for a lost and found area for children’s lost things.

Temporary materials require the following information:

  • list of birthday people for the month;
  • health sheet with information for a specific day;
  • a list of activities for the whole week (with topics, tasks and a brief description of the content);
  • information about the results of the children’s work (exhibition of works, results of psychological and pedagogical tests, etc.);
  • a list of topics that need to be repeated with children (for example, learn a riddle, poem, proverb);
  • a list of activities for a period of the academic period (usually a month);
  • news from the life of kindergarten;
  • information about upcoming competitions (for example, “Summer vacation for my family”, “Weekend with dad”, etc.)

Where to place

It is best if the corner is located near the window. Any well-lit area of the room will also work.

In many kindergartens, information for parents is placed above the lockers.

Requirements

As with all educational materials, there are several requirements for the parents’ corner:

  • the names of the headings are highlighted in bright, for example, red;
  • the text must be divided into paragraphs;
  • availability of constant and updated information;
  • The main principle of presenting material is lapidary.

This is interesting. Lapidary - extremely short, condensed.

Regarding the issue of information content, the relevance of the information is important. And the task is not only to match the material to a given moment in the life of the group, such as a report on events, a work plan for the week or a menu, but to create a selection of useful recommendations for parents of a specific age group. So, it will be useful for parents of children in the first junior group to read about the daily routine in kindergarten, so that family members at home can build a similar rhythm to facilitate the child’s adaptation to new living conditions in the group. But for mothers and fathers of preschoolers in the preparatory group, for example, it is very important to learn in advance about tests for first-graders, as well as about the work that is carried out in kindergarten to prepare children for the first tests.
