- Could you dance anywhere outside the Big Theater?

No matter how pathetic it sounds, I am a big patriot. So since childhood they were taught: the native theater is an absolute priority in life. But, of course, I leave, dance in different parts of the world, one of my recent serious, big works - Anna Karenina with Boris Eifman troupe.

- In the Mariinsky Theater, you had to dance?

On the exit performances are big. And in your own statements, they are not very called us. More their artists go to us. Like half of St. Petersburg approx of us work.

- They say Petersburg is stronger than technology, and Moscow - emotional immediacy.

In my opinion, this is a myth. Moscow artists have the highest level of technology, and emotional expressiveness. Give God to the Petersburgers such. In my childhood I had no skates, no bike - Mom believed that they were not growing muscles from them.

It was categorically refused to give me on figure skating - only ballet. Ballet children can be said, there is no childhood at all ... Then parents were invited to Moscow to Moscow, in the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Theater. Naturally, they took us with themselves and we were selected to the Moscow Choreographic Academy, but then the sister said that the ballet was enough from her. I do not know. Although this is a luxurious performance. And Cinderella was a stunning production, but now does not go. "Chipollino" is removed from the repertoire ... In general, there are a number of performances, it can be said, mandatory for the level of the level of big, but for two seasons there is no "bayader". "Corsaard" there is no season three. And when the last time "Raymond", I can't remember. Although, maybe my prayers are heard? It seems from February "Bayaderka", "Corsair" and "Raymond" again in our repertoire.

- It's not a secret - your friendship with Pianist Denis Matsuev. Did you meet a creative project?

No, just at the opening of the restaurant in common acquaintances.
