2.1. Provides technical assistance to employees of services, workshops or laboratories of State joint-stock energy companies in organizing the operation and repair of equipment, buildings, structures, protection devices, automation, communications, instrumentation.

2.2. Controls the compliance of the operation and organization of repairs of equipment, buildings, structures or devices, the implementation of measures to improve the operation of equipment, the maintenance of technical documentation, the correct storage of equipment, instruments, spare parts and materials with the requirements of the Rules for the technical operation of power plants and networks, safety rules, rules and labor protection standards and production instructions.

2.3. Participates in the planning of capital and current repairs of equipment, buildings, structures, devices; in the formation of applications for equipment, spare parts, instruments and materials; in the development of measures for the mechanization of work; in the development of production instructions for the operation of equipment, buildings, structures, devices.

2.4. Participates in the acceptance from repair and installation of the relevant equipment, buildings, structures, investigation of accidents and damage to equipment, review and coordination of design tasks for facilities under construction or expansion.

2.5. Participates in work on certification of workplaces.
