Ballroom dancing. Description and species

Ballroom dancing. Description and species
Ballroom dancing. Description and species

And yet dancing. Decided to write what he had suffered a long time and slowly - the basics of sports ballroom dancing. I am writing for the same parents as I myself. For parents who can not understand, but what happens at all. For parents, whose head comes from the number of information that must be learned.

Do I advise anyone to give a child to sports ballroom dancing? Of course no.
1. It is expensive
2. takes a lot of time
3. "crashes" a lot of weekend
4. This is waiting hours
5. Sick your nerves!

Suppose you gave the child to sports ballroom dancing.
At first, the child has only group classes twice a week. If the child is small, he is taught to dance:
5 years
children's Polka, ducklings, disco
6 years
slow Waltz, Berlin Polka, Disco
7 years and older
slow Waltz, Cha Cha-Cha and Polka

In all clubs teach the same steps. These are the steps necessary for certification. In children, the tournament is equal to certification. But there are certain programs, such as six steps of skill (but about it later).

When your child learned the first steps, the coach says it is time to participate in tournaments.

After the child's speech, do not forget to take a printed list (looks like a ribbon), on which it is written how many points scored your child who was the chief judge where the event was going on, how many people were, your child's number. Put a piece of paper in the tournament! If there are no books yet, do not throw off a piece of paper, you will arrive later!
Your child moves to the next level when the coach decides. Or then when 100 points are scored in tournaments.

Do not forget to take water! Children although drinking! And it can be no means that the chocolate can be - it does not overload the stomach before the performance and gives a small charge of energy :)
In tournaments, you should always have pins with you to push the number, as they sell pins not always.
At the beginning of the year, the coach usually collects money and makes a book athlete. If the book is ready for the first tournament, do not forget to take it with you. If the book is not yet ready, do not forget to take a dwelling about the birth of a child or your passport, where the child is recorded.
Do not forget to find out the name and surname of the coach and the name of the club!

You arrive an hour before the start. Buy an entrance ticket for yourself, baby, and if you want, you can also buy a cup of one dance, but it is not necessary. For example, Polka Cup.
After buying a ticket, you go and register a child, you give you a room. Disguise a child:
girl
body tights, sandals, white swimsuit, black skirt or (if allowed, rating dress), on the head bundle (lacquer should be without a sparkler, no makeup)
boy
white Long Sleeve Shirt, Black Pants, Black Tie Or Butterfly, Black Socks and Black Dance Shoes

and pin your child on the back number.
Solo, couples and cups are usually dancing in tournaments. In the kids, the program is called:
Bebi 1 and Bebi 2

In children from seven years and older
H3, H4 ... H6 - by the number of executable dances.
After H6, classes E, D, C, B, A. A class is the highest. Behind him Master of Sport.

In tournaments your child is dancing its program. Judges appreciate the child on the three-point system. The highest score for one dance - 3 points. The lowest - 1. Sometimes the judge may not raise an assessment at all. The highest score in H3 - 9 points. That is, 3 dance three points for each. Sometimes children who scored 9 points are dancing again H3. And among them choose the best - 1.2 and 3rd place.

If you bought a cup of one dance, then the child dances along with all one dance. If you're lucky, your child will fall into the semifinals, and then in the final. Usually 7 people remain in the final. From 1 to 7th place.

First dance program H3. These children come earlier. When they fulfill their program, they will receive prizes, then, naturally, going to leave home. And at this time there is already registration of children who will dance H4.
If your child dances two programs, then you first register on H3, and when registration on H4 begins, then on H4. Naturally, the child will have another number. Do not forget that you need to buy another ticket.

There is also a program of certification "Six Stages of Mastery"
This is a system for assessing dance skill of children 1-3 years of study. The smallest dancers (5-6 years old, the 1st year of study are groups of preschoolers) participate in the steps called Babi 1 and Bebi-2. Older dancers (6 years and older) gradually pass from 1 to 6 stage skill.

On certification there are a number of rules and traditions that need to be observed.First, the certification has adopted a certain dress - For girls it is a white swimsuit, a black skirt, bodily tights or white socks and dance shoes (with 4 stages allowed to dance in rating dress), for boys - white shirt with long sleeves, black pants, black tie or butterfly, black socks and black dancing shoes. Hairstyle in girls - a bundle (other options are not allowed if the girl has a short haircut, all hair needs to be used as much as possible with the help of invisible hairpins and equipment), all hair should be collected in a hairstyle with a varnish or other means for laying (without brilliance) and invisible hairpins. Clothes and hairpins should be without decorations and sequins. Hairstyle is better to do in advance, at home, so that before the performance it was necessary only to fix. Secondly, the congregation exists a tradition - children give flowersto your coach. It happens before the start of each stage after the parade of the participants. Therefore, with you, you need to have a flower -poshkolka coach on certification is present from the morning until the evening, and the disciples are usually a lot, it is better to give one flower with a mesmer smell and so that it does not plant. It will be not too much to those who learn the steps of Bebi 1 or Bebi 2 or 1 stage, bring with them any container for flowers so that they do not start up to the evening (for example, a cropped 5-liter bottle of water) - it will be a manifestation Respect for coach. Third, with it necessary to have 4 English pins - It is English, they are necessary for pinning numbers, ordinary pins may damage the child. Fourthly participation in certification paid (Usually it is 250-300 rubles from the viewer and from the participant, and the participant pays this contribution for each stage). Well, the last thing - the coach reports in advance, at what time you need to come for registration. Attention! If you are late, you may not register, and the child will not be able to participate in certification. Plan the time in advance to come without delay.

Where is the certification? Most often, the certification takes place in the dance hall "Nika" (Cyrovograd street, 21a, the nearest metro station "Prague"). Have you come to certification that you need to do next?First of all, it is necessary to pay a fee for participation in certification. Then you need to register. Next to the registration lists of participants are postponed (look carefully, for which stage the list is posted, sometimes registration is delayed). You need to find the name of your child's surname and number. You call this number and school number on registration. If you suddenly did not find your last name in the list, you need to come up for registration and simply name the name and name of the child, the team and the name of the coach. A man registering you usually asks the surname of the child, be careful. As you will register your child, it will be written by his name and surname on the diploma. After that, you will be given a number. It needs to pin with a child on his back. In the Hall, try to stay next to the coach and other children and parents from your club, so as not to miss the parade of the participants and workout (children give the opportunity to repeat the dances before the performance). All children are dressed equally, from the back look equally. Be careful, do not lose your child in the crowd))). After graduation, you need to quickly remove the room and give it to the coach.

Greetings you, oh, champions! Today I intend to clarify some concepts and our heads! By the way, my head is no exception! Long time I was going to talk about what I said! Kalambur, but now everything will be in place. Actually everything comes down to the fact that in sports ballroom dancing, participants are dancers that are classified in two main categories, about one of which I want to tell you today. We are interested in "classification and categories of dancers in ballroom dancing".

So, classification number 1 is the level of preparation of dancers, and classification No. 2 is an age group of dancers. I think to explain the need for the existence of such classifications it makes no sense, because if you imagine that the dancer will be released on the parquet, which was not fulfilled and seven years old, and in the counterweight will be the dancer of the international class, then 100% will win ... - Friendship?!

As for me, then the main thing is the classification by the age group. After all, if dancers are on the floor, the dancers are equally prepared, but with the age difference in 20 years, it is clear that the victory will bring experience in this situation. Although it will not be firmly insisting on such an opinion, because there are always exceptions. And, nevertheless, in the class system there are certain rules that do not get around. One of these rules is the age of a dancer, which is a limiting factor in improving the class at the level of training, but I will talk about this in subsequent articles, and today I suggest your attention to consider the concept " Classification and categories of dancers in ballroom dancing».

Based on what we just said with you, it is necessary to create a logical conclusion that the classification of dancers allows you to create equivalent competition, thanks to which you can more accurately determine the level of dancer preparation.

So, the classification of dancers in the level of training. This classification Contains such categories:

"E" class. This is a sports class that is starting. By itself, "E" class is the first class for dancers in which competitions are held. This class is closely bordered by the "n" class, which should be understood as a "beginner" or "zero class". The fact is that in "H" class of competitions are not carried out, and by itself "H" class is divided into "H-3", "H-4", "H-5" and "H-6". The number in this case means a limited number of dances. For "N-3" - this is: Waltz, Cha-Cha Cha and Polka. For "H-4" - this is: Cha-Cha-Cha, Samba, Waltz and Jive. For "N-5" - this is: Quixtep, Samba, Cha-Cha-Cha, Jiv and Waltz. And the last "H-6" is a class that gives the beginning of the "e" class.

Also, the main difference between "E" from the "H" class is that it contains division into European and Latin American programs. The first includes Kvikstep, a slow waltz and Vienna Waltz, and in the second - Jive, Samba and Cha-Cha-cha.

"D" class. This class is the second step towards the championship! In order to get into the "D" class of dancers, you need to dial glasses in previous competitions. "D" class includes no longer six (as "e" class), and eight dancing, including: Slow Waltz, Tango, Vienna Waltz and Quixtep in the European Program, and Samba, Cha-Cha-Cha, Rumba, Jiv in the Latin American program. Also honors "D" class from "E", is an extended number of executable elements.

"C" class. This class differs from previous ones that the choreography is allowed in it not from the basic list of figures. Thus, dancers that participate in competitions on "C" class have the opportunity to embellish their performance with figures that give the dance quite distinguishing and colorful shade. In other words, starting with the "C" class physical education of ball dance turns into art!

From this class, a serious dancer career is usually begins, and the European and Latin American programs contain five dances. European Program: Slow Waltz, Tango, Vienna Waltz, Slow Foxtrot and Quixtep. Latin American Program: Samba, Cha-Cha-Cha, Rumba, Jiv and Pasadobl. Starting with the "C" class, the dance becomes more than hobby for the dancer.

After the above classes, B, A, S and M classes follow.

"B" class. In order to go to "in" class, dancers must comply with the program of ten dancing in the "C" class, and already after they can determine their further career in the suitable Latin American or European programs. It can also be a "dozen" dance. A distinctive feature of this class is that here dancers get the opportunity to use positive in their dance and diverse support.

"A" class. This is an intermediate class between everything that was before "a" class and international "S" and "M" classes.

"S" class. Assigns to the decision of the Presidium of the National Federation based on the results of the National Championship or Championship. Also "S" class is an international class.

"M" class. This is an international class, which is the highest in dance sports. This is a class to which all dancers for which a ballroom dance has become a life.

Very often you can meet such a term as "Hobby" class. In this class, beginner adult dancers, who wish to dance more dances and with a large set of movements than beginner children are taken. As a rule, the organizers of the competition in this class do not introduce restrictions on costumes and executable elements, and indeed, such a "hobby" class has semi-official status. This is the very first, starter class, which is allowed to execute only four dance: Quixsthep, jive, slow waltz and cha-cha cha. At the same time, dancers are not available all the variety of movements of these dances, and only the most basic movements are permitted.

I want to draw your attention to such a thing as "Dance class couple» This term applies to the newly created dance pair and what is most important and interesting - is determined by the class of a partner! Perhaps today some of you will begin to remember such ascendible words as a gender or gender policy (!), But nevertheless, today it is a tough rule. Although not everything is so bad as it seems at first glance. If the class of the partner is above the class of a partner for two or more, then the pair can be allowed to a competition conducted between pairs, the class of which one class is higher than the class of such a partner. And if the pair dials half or more points to go to the next class, any of the partners, whose class is lower, is assigned a higher class of the second partner. And it is not subject to this obligatory rule and discussion!

Dancers who scored the required amount of points are assigned a new one, the next class. Prior to "in" class of glasses in Latina and the standard are recruited together and then they are summed into one, but since "in" class - separately. The S and M classes are assigned not only by scored points, but also on a successful performance, the decision of the Presidium of the National Federation based on the results of the National Championship or Championship.

That's actually, everyone, if you spend briefly for the main moments classifications Level preparation of dancers!

Dancer of the International Class, Winner of the II All-Union Ball Dance Competition (1975), repeated champion of socialist countries on ballroom dancing (1979-80), finalist of the World Cups of 10 Dances (1985-86) Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, President of the Russian Dance Union, organizer national and international professional tournaments, commentator TV programs for sports dancing, dancemaster of the Vienna Ball.

In each area of creative activity there are masters whose names most accurately correspond to it. When it comes to ballroom dancing in Russia, one of those definitely belongs to Stanislav Popov.

By the will of fate, he was born at the time when the ballroom dances, who became the case of his life, was regarded in our country as a "bourgeois occupation", undermining the foundations of an existing building. But he managed to adequately pass the difficult path at first the dancer, and then the organizer, turning the Russian professional dance into a strong and independent component of world dance.

Today, among many types of choreography, ballroom dancing is the phenomenon in which sport and art are combined. And to "reconcile" in one whole two, it would seem that the mutually exclusive parties, the urgent problem, from which the future of the genre depends on the solution. Speaking about his motives of the dance classes, Stanislav Popov repeatedly emphasized her craving for competitiveness, because he was always attracted contests. But at the same time, his whole life as a performer, a teacher and the organizer confirms that in his understanding the dances are primarily art. So, probably, it is not by chance that at the head of the professional organization of dancers, the Russian dance union, there is a person who was awarded the title - Honored Artist of Russia.

Dancer

Dance - no doubt, the love of the life of Stanislav Popova. But it is impossible to expose the subject of love to dry analysis, trying to determine what these bright feelings still cause in the soul? Stanislav always liked to dance. As a child, he worried that others know how, and he is not. Once at eight years he fell on the birthday of one girl from his yard. For the holiday, the guys even bought a drink, in those days he was called Cider. And at that moment, when they were taught to one dance: a step in one direction, a step to another, Stanislav suddenly embraced a feeling of great joy. He thought that he learned to dance! But in the end, he did not come to ballroom dancing immediately. At first there were sports - swimming and pentathlons, and a very serious - master of sports. Later, having come to the dance school in the Park "Sokolniki", he again had an amazing feeling. Probably just because the dancing person is happy. Hormones of happiness, penetrating the consciousness and the whole body during the dancing, encouraged Stanislav to engage in them further. I liked the feeling of music, movement. True, first there were no contests, and him who had a sports vendor, it was not so interesting.

In 1965, Stanislav entered the MEI to the Faculty of Electronic Technology, and in 1967 the elder brother Victor, by that time already engaged in ballroom dancing, led him to the House of Culture "Chemist" to introduce a good partner. So Anya Kushnareva was the first partner Stanislav, and Bruno Belousov, the head of the dance studio, - his first teacher. Successfully speaking on the "D" class at competitions in Moscow, Gorky, Tartu, Tallinn, Stanislav and Anna danced together for a short time, about aven a half years. The emergence of tournaments and dance sports meant the emergence of the profession of the dancer-athlete. She became a matter of life. True, all this was still ahead.

In the meantime, among many interesting candidates for the place of the new partner, the soloist of the "School Years" ensemble Lyudmila Borodina turned out to be the main. After 7 years, they became spouses, and after that they lived together for another 20 years. Their union for many was an ideal and dance, and a married duet. Popov himself estimates these years as a magnificent life with a huge number of tournaments. Popov, indeed, were that pair, thanks to which the Soviet Union had shown for a long time that we were in the field of ballroom dancing "ahead of the planet all."

Amateur Career Stanislav and Lyudmila has more than a hundred tournaments. Among the most successful speeches on such as "Amber Couple" (Kaunas), Riga Autumn, Tallinn Regatta and Tallinn Spring, Vilnius, "Baltic Sea Week" (GDR), "Savaria" (Hungary) Competitions in Finland, Austria, Bulgaria and other countries. In 1975, Stanislav and Lyudmila became the winners of the II All-Union Ballroom Dance Competition, and, since 1975, a series of them began to first prize, and then victorious performances at the Championships of Socialist countries, including in Moscow in 1979. 1981 was marked by a new stage of their dance career - Stanislav and Lyudmila switched to professionals. And the first participation in the Dresden Dance Festival brought success, which they secured at the subsequent European and world championships in Latin American, European programs, as well as 10 dancing program.

How difficult was the life of a dancer engaged in our country by ballroom dancing, one episode testifies. Once after the performance of Stanislav and Lyudmila at the European Championships in the UK they were invited to the World Cup in London. Then in the USSR there was a chemless order that it is impossible to leave to the western country more often than once every six months. So according to their dance duet, the international department of the CPSU Central Committee adopted a special decision. However, after the speech in London, they were again invited, but this time already on the Blackpool Festival, the largest event of the dance world. Today, this most prestigious and old tournament is for more than eighty years. All participants arrive at him at their own expense, and the Soviet pair of the British were ready to fully pay the costs: the road, accommodation, stay a week before the tournament. Now it may seem not essential, but in Soviet times with his travel expenses such a proposal looked seriously. The British themselves talked to our embassy, where they were encouraged together with dancers, but as a result at the right moment, Stanislav with Lyudmila could not "reach out". And after that, they became unearth for three years.

Stanislav and Lyudmila Poppopolärch Stanislav and Lyudmila's speech took place in 1988 on the largest in the history of ballroom dancing tournament All World Stars Champions in Tokyo, in the huge hall of the Tokyo house, which accommodates 50 thousand spectators. The prize fund of this tournament was about 300 thousand dollars, and the winners also received new models of Mazda. Japanese television captured an exciting moment: dancers and teachers from different countries arranged to Muscovites a farewell ceremony with a competitive dance. And with his fans in Russia, Stanislav and Lyudmila said goodbye to a slow waltz a few months later at the I International Competition of ballroom dancing spent in Moscow.

The participation time in competitions turned out to be interesting not only in terms of the fight against rivals. Acute competition stimulated the work of dancers. We needed new professional knowledge. And in 1980, Stanislav and Lyudmila became students of Gityis in the department of choreography (graduated in 1985). They were honored to learn from the last year of Rostislav Zakharov, one of the founders of the Soviet ballet school. Together with Lyudmila Stanislav, many interesting dance numbers have been created. Undoubtedly, the best of them "Carmen" to the music of Bizet in the processing of Generin, who rightly entered the history of Russian ballroom dance as the first and very successful attempt to connect classical music and ball choreography.

Later on the World Cup In 1999, this number was resumed by Igor Kondrashev and Irina Otrumova. On the jubilee, the 15th World Cup (2009) on the gala show with the Carmen number, there was a couple of the USA, while world champions in the program 10 dancing, Hermann Mustuk and Eveta Loupe. Herman gladly shared an interesting story related to this show. Just at the time when he began to dance a little boy, in Chisinau and Moscow, he seen the demonstrations of Stanislav and Lyudmila Popova with the number of "Carmen" several times. Then everything spoke about this beautiful room. Fate ordered that Herman was in the United States, as well as one of the best students of Stanislav - Talyat Tarsinov. Today Talyat, the USSR champion in the Latin American show is one of the leading ballroom choreographers in the world. And he suggested Herman with Ulower to make his "Carmen" on the same music. So Herman moved to his wonderful memoirs of childhood, and in the anniversary World Cup, they presented this number Stanislav.

Pedagogue

Throughout its active dance career from 1971 to 1988, Stanislav and Lyudmila led no less active pedagogical work in his dance studio in DC them. Gorky in Moscow. In this unusually creative atmosphere, more than twenty couples of international class were prepared. Such as Peter and Alla Chebotarev, Vladimir and Olga Andryukina, Alexey and Svetlana Dmitriev, Arthur and Maria Lobov, Talyat and Marina Tarsinov, Igor and Yvette Kondrashev, Vladimir and Elena Kolobov, Leonid Pletnev and Tatyana Pavlova. Today, they are all beautiful teachers who transmit to their disciples as in our country and abroad that exceptional dedication to the dance, which has always been distinguished by Popov himself.

One of his students, now the people's artist of Ukraine, the creator and the head of the only dance theater in the world (Sevastopol) Vadim Elizarov recalls that Stanislav Popov had a huge influence on him. He was his idol. A competent specialist and a person who has a phenomenal taste, Stanislav was in the All-Union dancer system. And how many pairs brought up Stanislav with Lyudmila! All professionals passed through their hands. Elizarov recalls the famous fees in Poltava and in the Crimea, in Sevastopol, and Stas - democratic and at the same time highly professional. For Elizarova, he was not just a teacher, but above all, a person giving an example of a professional attitude towards his work.

From 1991 to 1995, Stanislav lived and worked in the United States, where he taught in the Washington Dance Club in Seattle. By the decision of the American government, he was issued a special "Green card" as a person "with outstanding abilities and international recognition." At this time, Stanislav led the teaching job in Holland, Germany, Hong Kong.

Russian Dance Soyuz

The history of the formation of the first Russian professional dance organization began in 1987, when a creative commission on ball choreography was created at the All-Union Music Society, headed by Chairman Stanislav Popov. Already next year (1988), at its base, an association of professional performers and teachers of ball dance (apipt) originated. It was this organization that in 1994 was transformed into the Russian Dance Union, and Stanislav Popov became his permanent president. Now Russia, in the face of the RTS, has received the right to participate in the work of an international professional organization - the World Tanning Council (WD & DSC). Expanding their powers, RTS in 2007 was transformed into the Russian Dance Union.

The first professional tournament organized by Stanislav Popov became the I All-Union Competition for Balnal Dance, held in 1988 in Usz "Friendship" (Moscow). By virtue of historical reasons, he has not yet wore the official name of the championship, but such was essentially. For the first time in our country, the dance competition was held only on the international competitive program, excluding Soviet dances. His winners with a complete base can be defined as the first champions of the country. They became: in Stanislav Stanislav and Lyudmila Popov, in Latina - Juris and Biurut Baumanis (Riga), in the European show - again Stanislav and Lyudmila Popov, and in Latin American - Talyat and Marina Tarsinov.

Since 1990, now Russia's championships have become held annually on all competitive dance programs: Standard, Latina, European and Latin American shows and 10 dancing program.

Over the years, ballroom dances have developed in our country in the detachment from the rest of the world. It is all the more important to imagine because these dances were born exactly there in the "other" world. That is why they were so important at first minor, and then increasing connections with the world dance community. And, perhaps, the task of organizing and conducting international tournaments at home was no less significant than the transformation of foreign tournaments available to our dancers.

In this first international competition of professionals with the participation of leading couples of the world, in 1988 by Stanislav Popov I, Moscow International Competition. In its framework, another historical event was held for the dance world - the World Champions Show Espen and Kirsten Salberg and Alan and Heisel Fletcher Latin Fantasy II. For the first competition with the interval in two years, three more - B1990, 1992 and 1994 followed. The experience gained has allowed since 1995, to come up to the Cup of the World Cup, which opened our country to the dance world.

As the President of the Russian Dance Union, Stanislav Popov has always taken an active part in the work of the World Dance Council (WDC). Over the years, he was a vice president with the special powers of the WD & DSC Sports Committee, and from 2003 to 2012 - Vice President of the World Dance Council (WDC). In 2013, noting the merits of Stanislav Popov on the development of world ballroom dance, at the annual WDC meeting, he was awarded the title "Honorary Vice President WDC".

Since 2001, Stanislav Popov began regularly in our country official WDC championships: European Championships on the European Program, Moscow - 2001, 2009, 2012; European Championships in the Latin American Program, St. Petersburg - 2002, Moscow - 2005, 2008; World Championships in the Latin American Show, Moscow - 2003, 2006, Omsk - 2009; European Championships for 10 dancing, Omsk - 2008. Finally, the main, from the point of view of status, the tournament is the world championship in Latina. He passed in 2007 in the Kremlin and became a farewell for an outstanding couple of modernity Brown Watson and Carmen (Germany), who won his last, ninth title on it. In 2011, the Kremlin parquet was again granted to the best duets of the planet in Latina. This time the championship title won Riccardo Cockki and Julia Zagoruchchenko (USA). And in 2013, in the Kremlin, for the first time in the history of ballroom dancing, we gathered the strongest couples of peace in the European program. Arunas Bijokas and Katyusha Demidov (USA) rose to the highest level of the pedestal.

Arriving as an organization of professional dancers and dance teachers, today RTS successfully develops amateur dancers within the Al WDC. So at the last unified RTS Championship of 2013, about 1,200 amateur dance duets were made.

In recent years, RTS has grown not only quantitatively, but, more importantly, - qualitatively. The traditions laid down 25 years ago received their further development, and the merits of their colleagues in the RTS now celebrate the "Recognition" award at a special solemn ceremony. Stanislav Popov more than once became the owner of this premium in the nomination "Best Tournament of the Year." And in 2013, the nomination "The Best Organizer of the Year" was added to this nomination for the World Championship of European Dance.

world Cup

International tournament, annually organized by Stanislav Popov. But to say so, it means to show only one side of his relationship to this dance action. As for the public and for participants of the tournament, the role of Popova as a leader is equally important. Without this, the final stroke would not have a unique dance atmosphere, which distinguishes the Cup from all other contests.

Starting its history in 1995, the World Cup became a tournament, collecting the best pairs of peace in the Latin American program. The first two years of his winners became the fifteenth-time world champions Donni Burns and Heinor Fevesear (Scotland) (1995, 1996), four times the Cup won nine-time world champions Brian Watson and Carmen (Germany) (1999, 2000, 2002, 2004) and multiple winners of Blackpool Festival Mikhal Malitovski and Joan Lens (Poland) (2007, 2009, 2010, 2012), three times - four-time winners of the Blackpools Festival Yucca Haapalayn and Sirpa Soutari (Finland) (1997, 1998, 2001), once - vice world champions Paul Killik and Hannah Kartunen (United Kingdom) (2003) and already twice the current world champions Ricardo Cockki and Julia Zagoruchchenko (USA) (2008, 2011). And, of course, Russian couples. The first World Cup won the finalists of the World Championships Sergey Rupin and Elena Rvorova (2005), and the first year of the world's vice-champions of Glory Krique and Elena Rubov (2006) rose to the highest level.

Over the organizer himself, the first tournament itself is most memorable, which requires a huge work with sleepless nights, first of all. In the mid-90s it was even difficult to imagine that all those stars will perform in Moscow, who eventually arrived in Luzhniki (the first tournament was held at the Small Sports Arena). From the six finalists of the world we had four. The highest level, and of course, a joyful event. Then he followed the second World Cup, moving in the Kremlin. A completely different platform and conditions for conducting, but also a really exciting event. Popov was remembered by the 10th World Cup, on which, for the first time in many years, Donney Burns and Heinor Fevezer with an amazingly beautiful rumba appeared.

Over the past years, the World Cup has become one of the most, if not the most prestigious tournament in the world at the invitation. First of all, this is due to the magnificent hall - the Kremlin, the historical center of Russia, Moscow. And also a stunning parquet, beautiful couples, light - all components that give the opportunity to be special to this tournament. The World Cup is not a dance marathon, there are only three rounds in it. It is rather a secular event than a sports competition, especially considering that the Gala show is held on the second day - the theatrical action compiled from the best rooms of the participants and the guests of the World Cup. And in the interruptions for the famous parquet, viewers go out to dance and get a positive energy charge. And for many years he helps them in this music group "7 winds" under the leadership of the Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Georgy Musheyeva.

Viennese Ball

In 2000, Stanislav Popov spoke in a new role for himself - a dancer. That time it was about the historical Millenium Ball, held in the Bolshoi Theater. A few years later, in 2003, the organizers conducted in Moscow for the first time in the Vienna Ball turned to Popov, choosing him as a blade manager. Over time, the role of the dancer "Russian balls" in Vienna, Baden-Baden, Ali Ate, Palma de Mallorca, Montreux, was added to the role of the Dancethmakester of the Vienna Ball. Owing ball dresses and tricks, men and women seek to move to the ball into a different dimension. And the regularity of their conduct suggests that it is immersed in this amazing romantic condition, inspired by Natasha Rostova, in our days I want very much. Before the Vienna Ball, the selection of debutants is carried out, where only 100 girls remain from 800 girls. And every year it takes 2.5 months to prepare Popov. And the debutant can become far from each. Of course, age (from 18 to 23), unmarried status and pleasant appearance are important. But first of all, this should be a spiritual lady, well-brought up and educated. She goes into society and must comply with certain ideals.

Culture dance

A huge reservoir of the general culture, which in our country was, but, unfortunately, is largely lost. Returning in the mid-1990s from the USA to Russia, Popov seemed that the changes that are necessary for the development of ballroom dances and as a sport, and simply as a type of human activity begins to occur in society. Time passed, but until now, in our country, priority is given only to dance sports, and public, social dance is not much advanced in its development compared to what was 25-30 years ago. In those days, when there were dance schools, not sports clubs and just dance platforms, the dances were much more popular. Today, just dancing is not going anywhere, but dance pauses arise only within the framework of some events, and it is not always. In school years, no one acquires dance skills, since there are no dances within the framework of the school program, by the way, unlike many European countries. But he was distinguished, people do not even think about going on dance courses and teach their body to move correctly. Meanwhile, dancing give a person not only the ability to coordinate the body, mobility and elegance. Much in their lives and communication is becoming easier. According to Popov, the popularization of ballroom dancing and providing people to the wide opportunity to dance still remains for our country a relevant problem.

Recently, the cultural life of society appeared an athlete moment - a more prominent place begins to occupy balls, including the Vienna Ball held in Moscow. Dance events of this rank give people of various ages the opportunity to feel the joy of dance.

If you look into the distant past, the dance culture occupied a completely different place in Russian society. In this regard, Stanislav Popov recalls Petrovsky Assembly. Understanding that dancing is an integral part of the pan-European culture, Peter I forced everyone to dance. Previously, this example of Popov, together with their colleagues, was often given in conversations with representatives of ideological bodies that prevented the development of dance culture. But even in those, Soviet times, time could find positive examples. So at one time, the Minister of Defense K. Voroshilov issued an order, according to which dances began to teach in all military schools. The Soviet officer was supposed to be able to dance, danced in Suvorov schools. And today it is difficult to imagine our officers dancing, because society lowered them to unworthy officers social levels.

Ballroom dancing is always beautiful. And since the beauty was dosed in Soviet times, it was especially valuable. On New Year's Eve, people were looking forward to after the "blue light" at 4 in the morning not only the program "Melodies and Rhythms of foreign pop", but also "Dancing, Dancing". Appearing on TV screens once a year, the program became very memorable. The dance couple of older spectators is well remembered not only by this program, but also thanks to their participation in numerous pop concerts. Today, the practice of precast concerts left, with regret notes Popov. But even in those who pass, there are vocalists, dance groups, but completely absent on the stage dance pairs.

As for television, today, according to Popov, manipulating consciousness is the thing is absolutely obvious and real. Television does not want to broadcast demonstrations from dance tournaments, but there are dubious reality shows. You can only regret the level of that major mass that looks. All forgot that television should carry an educational function and no way shock, not to play on vices, offering nonesthetics products. It was this idea that Stanislav Popov was guided, when for six years he headed the jury, who became the popular show "Dancing with the stars" on the RTR channel. His professional and intelligent comment gave the opportunity to millions of viewers better to understand and love the beauty of ballroom dancing.

And another touch to the culture of the dance, "peeped" Popov in the United States. In this country, no five-star hotel is built without a large Convention center, which can be used as a ballroom. Speaking the "ball", meaning its intended purpose is not for the ball of high status, but for dances of the conference participants upon its completion. This is a special, clearer, form of communication. We, in principle, there are no such halls, even at the level of hotel projects, since this is not in the mentality of people, on which the development and adoption of projects depends. At best there is a large room under the disco, which is also good: passing through a certain stage of its development, youth need to "pass" from the soul, maybe even breaking the furniture. But all this should be in combination with other features when people can realize themselves in another environment.

Public dance

Why do people dance? In one of his interviews, Hannah Cartunien, a world-class dancer, noticed that nowhere, in addition to dancing, she does not receive such an amazing sensation of moving into a different dimension, which arises from a complete unity with a partner. So they say the champions, but also any person dancing at any level in the end seeks to the same. Only happens this is not on the international brilliant tournament, but in his private life, the importance of which is primary for him. "Dance and be happy!" - says Stanislav Popov. And many of the happiness rose to this way, and get it from achieving not only the highest goal, but also just from freedom of movement, from the possibility of merging with music, from improving their self-esteem, acquiring a beautiful posture and, of course, communication. Communication of men and women, their joint musical and dance action, where the best qualities of a person are manifested.

According to Popov, ballroom dancing is the type of social activity, the significance of which in our society is still not realized. Bright example - children. If they start dancing in 6-8 years, then in 11-12 they are already very different from the peers and the manner of communication, and the production of the corps. There are not many types of activities where boys and girls, boys and girls, men and women would be taught. Having dated children's dances, many parents after some time they themselves begin to dance, and then it happens that grandparents and grandparents are included. It turns out that at the level of physical culture, ballroom dancing is the most massive movement. After all, not everyone is playing football, but they dance absolutely everything.

Before the appearance of a cervix, break and their dances were pair. This is largely due to changes in social defendance. Today, the family of the family has many problems, people are increasingly divided, and dancing also become others. But Stanislav Popov does not lose hope. What, when people "squeeze" individually, they will have nostalgia on high human relationships, and they will begin to converge. Maybe they again connect and become happy.

After all, ballroom dancing is the perfect relationship of men and women.

Dance and be happy!

Ballroom dance is necessarily performed in a pair. Such dancing today is usually called standardized sports dances, performed on dance competitions and solemn events. Today, there are two main classifications in the world of dancing, in aggregate consisting of ten dance styles: European and Latin American programs. Read more about dance further.

The story of ballroom dancing

The origin of the concept of "ball dance" comes from the Latin word "Ballare", meaning "dance". In previous times, such dances were secular and intended only for the highest Persons, and folk dances remained for the poor segments of the population. Since then, such a class separation in dancing, of course, no longer exists, and many ballroom dancing are actually crushed folk. In particular, the culture of African and Latin American peoples had a great influence on modern ballroom dances.

What to be called ballroom dance depends on the era. At different times, various dances were presented at different times, such as polka, Mazurka, Menuet, Polka, Kadril and others, which are now considered historical.

In the 20s of the last century, the Baltic Dance Council was founded in the UK. Thanks to his activities, the ball dance then acquired the format of the competition and began to share into two groups - the dancing sports and so-called social. The program includes: Waltz, Tango, as well as slow and fast types of fockey.

For the period of the 30s - 50s, the number of dances increased: such paired Latin American dances like Rumba, Samba, Cha-Cha-Cha, Pasodobl and Jiva got into the program. However, in the 60s, the ball dance stopped being ordinary entertainment, because it demanded from dancing a certain technical training, and was ousted by a new dance called a twist that did not need to dance in a pair.

Dancing European Program

The European Dance Program, or Standard, includes: Slow Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Quixtep and Vienna Waltz.

Slow waltz

In the XVII century, Waltz was a folk dance in the Austrian and Bavarian villages, and only at the beginning of the XIX century was presented at the Bals of England. Then he was considered vulgar, as it was the first ballroom dance, where the dancer could keep his partner so close to him. Since then, the Waltz has taken many different forms, but each of them combines unique elegance and romantic mood.

The feature of the Waltz is a musical size of three quarters and a slowdown pace (up to thirty clocks per minute). You can master its main figures and at home yourself.

Tango - a ball dance born in Argentina at the end of the XIX century. At first, Tango was part of the Latin American Dance Program, but then he was transferred to the standard European program.

Perhaps, seeing tango at least once, afterwards everyone will be able to recognize this dance - this assertive, passionate manner does not confuse with anything. The tango feature is a swallowing step on the entire foot, which distinguishes it from the classic "flowing" from the heel on the sock.

Slow foxtrot

Foxtrot is a relatively simple ballroom dance that gives newcomers a wonderful foundation for further development. Foxtrot can be danced in slow, and on average, and in a rapid pace, which allows the gracefully move on parquet even beginners without special skills. The dance is quite easy to learn from scratch.

The main feature of Fockey is the alternation of fast and slow rhythms, but necessarily smoothness and ease of steps, which should cause the impression that dancers flute over the hall.

Quikstep

Quixsthep appeared in the 20s of the 20th century as a combination of Fockey and Charleston. Musical teams of that time played music, which was too fast for the movements of fockey, so in quixtep, they were modified. Since its development, this ball dance has become even more dynamic, allowing dancers to show their equipment and athleticism.

Kvikstep combines many different elements such as chassis, progressive turns and steps, and many others.

Viennese Waltz is one of the oldest ballroom dancing, which is performed in a near-pace, characterizing the first waltzes. The Golden Age of the Vienna Waltz in Europe fell at the beginning of the XIX century, when the famous composer Johann Strauss was still lived and worked and worked. The popularity of this Waltz was raised, then she died, but he never came out of fashion.

The size of the Vienna Waltz is the same as the slow, is three quarters, and the number of clocks per second is twice again - sixty.

Dancing of the Latin American Program

The Latin American Dance Program usually represent the following sports ballroom dances: Cha-Cha-Cha, Samba, Rumba, Jiv and Pasodobl.

Samba

This ballroom dance is considered to be a national brazil dance. The world began to discover the Samba since 1905, but this ball dance has become a sensation in the USA only in the 40s thanks to the singer and the star of Carmen Miranda. Samba has many varieties, for example, a samba, which is dancing in Brazilian carnivals, and a ball dance with the same name is not the same thing.

Many movements that differ from other Latin American ballroom dancing, samba combines: there are also circular movements of the thighs, and "spring" legs, and measured rotation. However, it is not too popular for study: the rapid pace of execution and the need for physical training often deprive the beginners of enthusiasm dancers.

The name of this dance is a reference to the sounds that make feet dancers, dancing under Rhythm Maracas. Dance evolved from Rumba and Mambo dance. Mambo was widespread in the USA, but under his fast music was very difficult to dance, so the Cuban composer Enrique Jorin made music slower - the dance of Cha-Cha-cha.

A feature of cha-cha cha is the so-called triple step into two bills. This feature and allocated cha-cha-cha into a separate dance, distinguishing it from Mambo, although the rest of the movements are quite similar to this style. For cha-cha chase, minimal movements around the hall are also characteristic of the hall, mostly, this ballroom dance is performed in almost one place.

Rumba has a rather rich story - it originated at the same time as a musical genre, and as a dance style, whose roots go to Africa. Rumba is a very rhythmic and complex dance that generated many other dance styles, including Salsa.

Previously, this Latin American dance was considered too vulgar due to its relaxed movements. He is still called dance of love. The mood of the dance can change during its execution - from measured to aggressive. The style of execution resembles the styles of Mambo and Cha-Cha-cha. The main tacts of Rumba are QQS or SQQ (from English S - "Slow" - "Slowly" and Q - "Quick" - "quickly").

"Paso Doble" from Spanish means "two steps", which determines its marching nature. This is a powerful and rhythmic dance for which a straight back, a look from eyebrows and dramatic poses. Among the many other Latin American dances, Pasodobl is notable for the fact that in its origin you will not find African roots.

This Spanish People's Dance was inspired by the Corrida: a man invariably depicts the Matador Tamer, and the woman plays the role of his raincoat or bull. However, during the execution of Pasodobl on dance competitions, the partner never depicts a bull - only cloak. Because of its stylization and large number of rules, this ball dance is practically not fulfilled outside the dance competitions.

Jive

Jive originated in African American clubs in the early 40s. The word "Jive" means "misleading chatter" - the popular slang word among African Americans of that time. US military brought dance to England during World War II. There, Jive was adapted to British pop music and took the form that he has now.

The characteristic feature of Jäva is the rapid pace of dance, thanks to which the movements come out with spring. Another feature of the joya is straight legs. You can dance this sports ball dance and on the six-straight account, and on the eight-stratified.

To create more or less equivalent competition on the dance floor, in sports ballroom dancing A class system has been introduced that displays the level of preparation of dancers and the system of age-related categories, distributing dancers by age groups. To access the first competition, they are assigned one of the lowest classes (Hobby or H), which they subsequently can change to higher, occupying at competitions by ballroom dancing Certain places and earning certain points. In the lowest grade is allowed to dance not all ballroom dancing And not all items. The highest class of mastery of lovers - the class.
