The educational initiative of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the State Museum and Exhibition Center "ROSIZO" has already successfully taken place in 55 small and medium-sized cities of Russia (26 regions) and continues its triumphal march across the country, this year covering 9 more new regional directions, including the city of Sortavala.

The duration of the project will be 17 days: during this time the exhibition will be open and an educational program for children and adults will be held.

The goal of the "Meeting Place with Art" project is to provide an opportunity to meet with art for residents of remote corners of Russia who cannot visit the country's leading museums due to geography, and where, due to the peculiarities of transportation and exhibiting, masterpieces of painting cannot reach. The organizers aim to provide a decent cultural leisure for Russians from Nakhodka to Elista, and, using the example of Soviet fine art, to help residents of Russian cities learn to understand the works of artists, telling about their work in an accessible language.

Educational program: future professionals in the field of culture, students of the Institute of Fine Arts of Moscow State Pedagogical University act as consultants - guides through the exhibition. They will conduct interactive excursions based on materials prepared by ROSIZO specialists, and will daily show video lectures recorded for the project by art critics of the Russian Museum in order to immerse the viewer in the socio-historical context of the creation of works.

On excursions from the best students of the Institute of Fine Arts of the Moscow State Pedagogical University - future teachers of fine arts - visitors will learn that Marshal Voroshilov was a close friend of Isaac Brodsky, so he offered the artist a completely non-heroic subject for his own portrait - skiing in the Moscow region forest. Mikhail Grekov found a sufficient dose of optimism, light and freshness for the picture "Trumpets of the First Horse" in the air of the Crimean spring, and Pyotr Konchalovsky painted a politically inappropriate portrait of Alexei Tolstoy, emphasizing the connection between the "red graph" and pre-revolutionary Russia during the heyday of "proletarian culture". Why are the pioneers not childlike adults in the film about the world's first transcontinental flight "Meeting the Heroic Crew" by Valery Chkalov? In the opinion of the country's leadership, on that day “the whole country made an aerobatics figure”, which is why the artist's tone was so severe.

The young participants of the project - teenagers 11-12 and 13-15 years old - are again waiting for the interregional drawing competition "My picture speaks". For both age groups, a unique program of master classes has been developed: children are invited to write a short essay-explanation for the future picture, and then convey their story in the form of an artistic image. The finalists, like last year, will go to thematic sessions at the Artek International Children's Center, and the competition will result in an exhibition of winning projects in Moscow.

The large-scale project "Meeting Place with Art" has been supported by the Russian Post for the third year in a row. The federal postal operator performs a responsible task, delivering reproductions and additional equipment with a total weight of more than 14 tons along specially organized routes with a length of more than 20,000 kilometers. 5 railway cars and more than 35 cars are involved in the transportation of exhibits.

As part of the collection series of the Russian Post, a special edition of postcards was printed for the project, which can be received and sent free of charge during the exhibition period by dropping a postcard into a specially installed mailbox. On the opening day, guests and participants can send a souvenir with the help of a consultant who will tell you how to fill in the address field correctly.

In Sortavala everyone can visit the exhibition from 7 to 23 September at the address: st. Gagarina, 14 (Sortavala intersettlement district library).

The geography of the project is impressive: a total of 29 small (and medium) cities of Russia are involved. The project began in April, but will last until December, so many will have time to take part.

What will happen: firstly, there will be an exhibition of reproductions in each participating city. The list includes familiar names: Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin, Alexander Deineka, Isaac Brodsky, Pyotr Konchalovsky, Yuri Pimenov, Mikhail Steiner, Mitrofan Grekov, Alexander Laktionov and other famous people. 27 reproductions were announced, in the transportation of which 20 railway wagons and 35 cars were involved.

Secondly, an educational program will be built around this exhibition: obligatory free excursions plus video lectures prepared by specialists of the Russian Museum and students of Moscow State Pedagogical University. The guys tell about the works of art of the 1920s-40s of the XX century.

The guests learn that Marshal Voroshilov was a close friend of Isaac Brodsky and offered the artist a completely non-heroic subject for his own portrait - skiing in a forest near Moscow, Mikhail Grekov found a sufficient portion of optimism, light and freshness for the painting "Trumpets of the First Horse in the air of the Crimean spring" , and Pyotr Konchalovsky caused a terrible scandal by painting a portrait of Alexei Tolstoy - during the heyday of "proletarian culture" he risked emphasizing the connection between the "red graph" and the classics of pre-revolutionary Russia, putting on the hero's table a rare vodka bottle marked with the date "1799" - the year of birth Pushkin.

From the project description

A separate bonus is the children's drawing competition "My Picture". A competition is held in every city, the winners are presented with vouchers to Artek (to classes according to a special program in art groups). And they offer to exhibit their paintings in the State Kremlin Palace along with children's drawings of the 19th century from the collections of Russian museums.

With the program - everything. We only note that such large (and free) exhibitions rarely take place "on the outskirts and in the hinterlands", so the responses of the participants are appropriate: "Finally, exhibitions began to get here", "Seen enough, enjoyed, inspired", "Today we touched great things" other pleasant. If you want to touch it too, check the timetable.

On September 4, the third stage of the All-Russian project "Meeting Place with Art", organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the State Museum and Exhibition Center "ROSIZO", started at the Museum of Contemporary Ethnic Art of the Yelabuga State Museum-Reserve.

The special atmosphere of the ceremony was created by the teachers of the Children's Music School No. A. Bakirova - pianist Tatiana Chekmeneva and violinists Marina Lipatova and Natalia Semyagina.

The task of the federal project "Meeting Place with Art" is to provide an opportunity to meet with art for residents of remote corners of Russia. The organizers aim to use the example of Soviet art to help residents of Russian cities learn to understand the works of artists, telling about their work in an accessible language.

The initiative is being implemented with the participation of the Russian Museum, the Institute of Fine Arts of the Moscow Pedagogical State University, the Institute of Art Education and Cultural Studies of the Russian Academy of Education, the Russian Post and the Artek International Children's Center. The project was successfully held in 53 small and medium-sized cities of Russia and continues to march across the country, this year covering 9 more new regional directions. The duration of the project in Yelabuga will be 19 days: at this time the exhibition will work and an educational program for adults and children will be held.

The fund of the traveling exhibition includes high-precision full-size reproductions of paintings by Soviet masters telling about turning events in the history of our country: "Meeting of the Heroic Crew" by Pyotr Maltsev, "Defense of Sevastopol" by Alexander Deineka, "After the Battle" by Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin, "Assembly of the Workshop" by Peter Williams, "A Letter from the Front" by Alexander Laktionov, "Women-Radio Operators" by Maria Bree-Bane. Reproductions were created in St. Petersburg specifically for the project - the image was applied to a primed canvas using a unique technology, observing color nuances and preserving the texture of a painted brushstroke. To recreate one work, up to 40 accurate pictures of each painting were taken.

Alexandra Grebennikova, a student of the Institute of Fine Arts of the Moscow State Pedagogical University, will act as a consultant-guide for the exposition, who will conduct interactive excursions, show video lectures recorded for the project by art critics of the Russian Museum, thereby immersing the viewer in the socio-historical context of the creation of works.

The interregional drawing competition "My picture speaks" awaits the young participants of the project. A unique program of master classes has been developed: children are invited to write a short essay-explanation for the future picture, and then convey their story in the form of an artistic image. The finalists, like last year, will go to thematic sessions at Artek, and the competition will result in an exhibition of winning projects in Moscow.

From September 19 to October 6, for the first time in Sokol, a unique for the district and the Vologda Oblast all-Russian educational and educational project "Meeting Place with Art" was implemented, organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Museum and Exhibition Center "ROSIZO" with the support of the Russian Post. The Sokolsky District has become the first place in the Vologda Oblast to host such a large-scale federal project.

For almost three weeks, the hall of the Sokolsky Center for Folk Culture and Arts and Crafts was turned into an exhibition hall with 25 high-precision full-size copies of paintings by prominent Soviet artists 1920 - 1940. The viewers were presented with well-known, "textbook" works telling about turning events in the history of our country and the people who created a new socialist state: "Meeting of the Heroic Crew" by Pyotr Maltsev, "Defense of Sevastopol" (1942) by Alexander Deineka, "After the Battle" ( 1923) Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin, "Assembly of the workshop" (1932) by Pyotr Williams, "Letter from the Front" (1947) by Alexander Laktionov, "Alexander Nevsky" (1942) by Pavel Korin, "Lenin in Smolny" (1930) and "K. V. Voroshilov on a ski trip ”(1937) by Isaac Brodsky,“ Mother of the Partisan ”(1950) by Sergei Gerasimov,“ Women-Radio Operators ”(1930) by Maria Bree-Bane. Reproductions were created in St. Petersburg specifically for the project. The originals of the paintings are kept in the largest museum collections in the country: the Tretyakov Gallery, the Russian Museum, the ROSIZO Museum and Exhibition Center, and the Central Museum of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

During the work of the exhibition in Sokol, it was attended by more than 2000 people. Every day, except Monday, students of the Institute of Arts of the Moscow State Pedagogical University Tatiana Uvarova and Nadezhda Yukhnovskaya interactive excursions and video lectures were conducted for organized groups and individual visitors, and master classes were organized for 32 Sokol schoolchildren, where children created their own works of art.

Each participant invented his own story, and then learned to depict it with a pencil and paints so that everyone could understand the meaning of what was depicted without explanation. The works created by the guys were sent to Moscow, where they will take part in the interregional competition "My Picture", the best of them will take their rightful place at the special exhibition of the project. The main gift for the winners of the competition will be a trip to thematic sessions to the International Children's Center "Artek". Upon completion of training, each of the participants in the master classes received a certificate of participation in the competition and souvenirs from the organizers of the project.

The "Meeting Place with Art" project has become one of the most significant events of the outgoing year in the cultural life of the Sokolsky District, allowing residents to "visit" the country's leading museums, and turn to the history of our country.

Sokolsky District Administration

Essentuki became the forty-eighth city in Russia, in which the exhibition of paintings "Meeting Place with Art" was opened, which has already managed to receive grateful reviews from visitors from all over the country.

This educational project was launched by the Ministry of Culture of Russia with the direct participation of the State Museum and Exhibition Center "ROSIZO". In more detail, this is an organization that develops and implements large-scale and original projects in partnership with leading world museums, as well as a professional executor of a wide variety of projects of its founder, which, by the way, is the Ministry of Culture.

The goal of the "Meeting Place with Art" project is to provide an opportunity to meet with picturesque masterpieces for residents of remote corners of Russia who do not have the opportunity to visit the country's leading museums and where, due to the peculiarities of transporting and exhibiting the paintings, they cannot get there. The organizers aim to provide a decent cultural leisure for Russians from Nakhodka to Elista and, using the example of Soviet art, to teach residents of Russian cities to understand the works of artists, telling about their work in an accessible language.

It should be noted that the total weight of the paintings reaches one and a half tons. Taking this into account, special routes were organized with a length of more than 45 thousand kilometers, and 20 railway cars and more than 35 trucks were involved in the transportation of exhibits.

An educational program for both children and adults will be held in parallel with the exhibition for three weeks. Young participants of the project, teenagers from 10 to 15 years old, will also have an interregional drawing competition “My picture speaks”. A unique program of master classes has already been developed for these guys. They will be asked to write a short essay-explanation for the future picture, and then convey their story in the form of an artistic image. By the way, the finalists will go to thematic sessions at the Artek International Children's Center, and the result of the competition will be an exhibition of winning projects in Moscow.

The modern ROSIZO collection was formed after 1992 from its own collection, the funds of the USSR Ministry of Culture and the collection of the All-Union Art and Production Plant named after Yevgeny Vuchetich. For those who have forgotten, recall that E. Vuchetich was a brilliant Soviet monumentalist sculptor, teacher, professor, vice-president of the Academy of Arts, a participant in the Great Patriotic War, and a retired lieutenant colonel. He was also a People's Artist of the USSR, a Hero of Socialist Labor, a laureate of the Lenin Prize and five Stalin's. He left behind a huge number of works recognized as works of art during the life of the author.

The Directorate of Art Funds and Design of Monuments of the Ministry of Culture of the RSFSR and its successor, the State Museum and Exhibition Center ROSIZO, have been collecting and replenishing the collections of state art museums and art galleries in all regions of the country since its foundation in 1959. Over its half-century history, this organization has achieved a special place in the Russian and international art arena as an organizer of exhibitions. Its museum collection allows you to make your own exhibitions and participate in the largest and most prestigious shows.

The project "ROSIZO" "Meeting place with art" includes high quality reproductions of 27 works. Among them are such as "Morning Exercise", "Defense of Sevastopol" and "Expansion" by Alexander Deineka, "After the Battle" and "Spring" by Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin, "Assembly of the Workshop" by Pyotr Williams, "Letter from the Front" (1947) by Alexander Laktionov , "Alexander Nevsky" by Pavel Korin, "Women-Radio Operators" by Maria Bree-Bane and many others.

The exhibition itself, adapted for schoolchildren and students, pensioners and children in orphanages, will of course work absolutely free of charge and teach visitors to understand the artistic problems of the 1920s - 1940s. And besides, to analyze the peculiarities of style, plot and composition, to interpret various details in the context of key events of the era and the personality of the artist, to feel the mood of the time, to find secret meanings in scenes of military heroism, labor exploits, sports achievements and the secluded serenity of our ancestors.

An educational project is a meeting place not only with art, but also with history. After all, the presented works can be understood only through the prism of historical facts from the life of the country, the turning points of its history. If the viewer is not familiar with them, the paintings are silent and keep their secrets. The task of the "Places with Art" team is to provide a key to understanding historically important works and the opportunity to see them with a fresh eye outside boring templates and stereotypes.

Art students and simply art lovers prepared fascinating interactive excursions and video lectures for the inhabitants of the Russian hinterland. The project is intended to reach at least 100 thousand people in 11 regions of the country. For this, future Moscow teachers, fascinated by modern methods of working with an audience, went to Komi, the Republic of Crimea, Buryatia, Rostov and Amur regions, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk, Altai, Primorsky, Khabarovsk Territories and, of course, to us in the Stavropol region ...
