For manufacturing we need:

Clean, ironed T-shirt (100% cotton);

A funny picture that you can draw yourself or print suitable on a printer. The size of the picture should be no more than 10x15 cm.

Acrylic paints for fabric (I personally prefer DECOLA, but you can use ordinary acrylic paints, the main thing is then to fix the drawing correctly).

Scissors, crayon, newspaper, or old magazine.

Manufacturing:

1. If you know how to draw, then it will not be difficult for you to prepare an unusual and original drawing for our future T-shirt. If you do not have artistic talents, print a suitable drawing on a printer.

2. Now you need to cut the drawing along the contour. Cut out and place it strictly below the neckline between the armpits. For the first time, it is better to try to do a simple drawing, and for zetas, when your skill increases, it is more difficult to take on drawings.

3. Make sure the T-shirt is well straightened. Inside the T-shirt (between the fabric of the chest and back), you need to put a newspaper or magazine so that the fabric on the other side does not get dirty when absorbing the paint

4. Draw a small outline of our drawing on the outside.

5. Now the chalk contour needs to be outlined with a special contour-paint, or with a thin brush.

6. So we come to the most interesting moment - coloring! Remember that the brush does not need to be wetted too much, otherwise the paint will spread beyond the contour when applied. If you started making a T-shirt with your child, then this part will appeal to him the most!

7. After we have applied the main background colors, we need to leave our drawing to dry.

8. Now we can paint over the dried drawing. Let's draw some yellow stripes for the cat.

9. Using a contour or a thin brush, draw eyes and a mustache for the cat. Leave it to dry again.

10. Once the drawing is dry, you can fix it. We take out the backing from the T-shirt, turn it over with a cat on an ironing board and iron it from the back with an iron for 3-5 minutes.

After 24 hours, we need to soak the finished T-shirt in a bowl of water and a spoonful of vinegar. Stir 1 spoonful of vinegar in water and soak the shirt for 10-15 minutes. This will help the shirt maintain its brightness for a long time! And try not to machine wash your shirt. Hand washing will extend the life of your creativity.
