New Life of Old Ties: Original Pillow

In the closet in the country, a bag of Soviet ties gave a dust. There was also a couple of children's headband tapes. It is a pity to throw out, and by appointment to apply these things no one will not be. Here and the idea was born to make such funny round pillows. You can use them as a "sticks", rolling under the head, or like sidews on the armchairs and stools.

So, for 2 pillows with a diameter of 47 cm, you will need:

• 10 long ties;
• 2 kapron tapes of different colors;
• 2 buttons;
• 1 pillowcase or snow bosquito;
• filler (sintepon \\ holofiber \\ foam);
• sewing supplies.

First of all, we unleash the nodes on the ties and override them. After that, we cut the resulting billets.

It is convenient to cut on the seams, so from one tie the four long, the same piece of trapezoidal shape is equal. Now you only need to be pinching them with pins or fit into the workpiece of the future pillow. Its diameter depends on the length and number of tie used.

Button wrap a piece of kapron tape and sew in the middle. The ribbons themselves are cut into the same strips diagonally, we turn them with triangles and sew a little cleaner with each other.

There should be a kind of figured "fringe", which then we will sew between the facial and the back of the pillow. For the backs, we use a piece of biazi or cut out from the old pillowcase circle to the size of our billet from the ties. We sew both canvas face each other, between them edging from ribbon triangles.

From the side, we leave a unpripted part so that the pillow can be turned on the right side and fill the filler. After that, gently stitch on the hands of the slot. Pillow is ready. The second sew in the same way.
