Russian folk games for children have always been popular among small, lively fidgets. Games have been played since ancient times and today they are played with mothers and grandmothers, and with friends, and at public holidays, fun events, folk festivals.

"Pie"

Children stand in two lines facing each other. A participant sits down between the ranks, depicting a "pie". Everyone is singing:

Yes, he is so tall,

Yes, he is so wide,

Yes, he is so soft,

Cut it and eat it.

While singing, at the words "tall" they raise their hands up, "broad" are thrown to the sides, "soft" - they stroke the belly.

Immediately after the words "Cut it and eat it," one participant from each line runs to the "pie". Whoever touches the “pie” first, takes him to his team, and the loser is left to play the “pie”. The group that takes the most "pies" wins

Game "Cockfight"

The players, standing on one leg, push each other with their shoulders, trying to force each other to stand on both legs.

Pull the rope game

2 hoops are placed on the floor and the rope is pulled from the middle of one to the middle of the other. The participants in the game are divided into 2 teams. The hoops include one person from each team. At the signal, they run and change places. The one who ran first into the opponent's hoop and pulled the rope out of another hoop is considered the winner. After the first pair, the second, the third, and so on until the last one runs.

Game "Chickens and cockerels"

Three couples in one minute collect grains (beans, peas, pumpkin seeds) scattered on the floor. The winners are those who have collected the most.

Burners game

The players line up in pairs one after another - in a column. Children hold hands and lift them up, forming a "gate". The last pair goes under the gate and stands in front, followed by the next pair. The "speaker" stands in front, 5-6 steps from the first pair, with his back to them. All participants sing or say:

Burn, burn clearly

So as not to go out!

Look at the sky

The birds are flying

The bells are ringing:

Ding-dong, ding-dong,

Run out quickly!

At the end of the song, two guys, being in front, scatter in different directions, the rest shout in chorus:

One, two, do not crow,

Run like fire!

The "burning" man tries to catch up with the running. If the players manage to take each other's hands before one of them is caught by the “burning” one, then they stand in front of the column, and the “burning” one catches again, i.e. "Burns". And if the "burning" catches one of the runners, then he gets up with him, and the player who is left without a pair leads.

The game "Ringer"

Children stand in a circle. The driver is chosen with a reading-reading device. He goes in a circle and says:

Dili-don, dili-don,

Guess where the ringing comes from.

The rest of the players dance in place. On the word "ringing" the driver turns to the player standing next to him and, clapping his hands three times, bows. The player also claps his hands three times, bows and stands behind the driver. Now the two of them walk in a circle, saying:

Dili-don, dili-don,

Guess where the ringing comes from.

On the word "ringing", the driver again invites the next player to join the game with claps and bows. So the game continues until there are 4-6 people behind the driver. After that, the children remaining in the circle clap, and the driver and the players chosen by him dance. With the end of the music, the driver and the other players must stand in pairs. Whoever lacked a pair becomes a driver.

Game "Duck-Goose"

Children stand in a circle with their hands behind their backs. The driver is chosen, he is given a small ball in his hands. The driver stands behind the circle. To the words: "Duck, duck, duck!" - which the driver says, he walks past the children standing with their backs to him. To the word “Goose! - puts a ball in the hands of one of the participants in the game. After that, the driver and the child with a ball in their hands diverge in different directions. They walk at a pace, and during the meeting they say to each other: "Good morning" or "Good afternoon", "Good evening", nod their heads and continue the "path" to the place from which they began to move. The one who comes first wins. It is imperative to go one step at a time. The winner becomes the leader.

Game "We are funny guys"

A trap is selected. He turns his back to the players. Children run up to the trap with the words: “We are funny guys, we love to run and play, but try to catch us. One, two, three (clap your hands) - catch it! " With the end of the text, the trap catches up with the children.

Playing with the Sun.

In the center of the circle is the "sun" (a hat with the image of the sun is put on the child's head). Children say in unison:

Burn, sun, brighter -

It will be hotter in the summer

And the winter is warmer

And spring is nicer.

Children go round dance. On the 3rd line they come closer to the "sun", narrowing the circle, bow, on the 4th line, they move away, expanding the circle. On the word "I'm burning!" - "the sun" is catching up with the children.

Play with a handkerchief.

Shrovetide plays with children. Children walk, holding hands, in a circle, Shrovetide moves towards them along the inner circle. Sings:

And I am Shrovetide,

I'm not a stepdaughter

I walk with a handkerchief

I'll come to you now.

The children stop, and Shrovetide says, standing between the two children:

There is a handkerchief on my shoulder

Who will run faster?

Children, between whom Maslenitsa stopped, run around the circle (outer), return to their places, take a handkerchief. The winner is the one who reaches Shrovetide faster.

The game "Lovishka"

Children and buffoons (refer to one of the buffoons wearing a goat's cap).

Gray goat,

White tail,

We will get you drunk

We'll feed you

Don't gore us

And play "Lovishka".

After the words addressed to the "goat", the children scatter, and the "goat" tries to gore them.

Carousel game.

We continue the fun

Weight jogging on a carousel.

Ribbons are attached to the training. Children take the tape with one hand and go first in one direction, and then, changing hands, in the other. The hoop is held by an adult. You can "ride" the carousel under the traditional text:

Barely, barely, barely, barely

The carousels spun

And then, then, then

All running, running, running.

Hush, hush, take your time

Stop the carousel.

One-two, one-two

So the game began.

Game "Zhmurki"

Leap-leap, leap-leap,

Bunny jumped on a tree stump,

He beats the drum loudly

Calls everyone to play blind man's buffs.

The game "Zhmurki" is held.

The course of the game. The player is blindfolded, taken away from the players and turned around him several times. Then they talk to him:

Cat, cat, what are you standing on?

At the dough.

What's in the dough?

Catch the mice, not us!

After these words, the participants in the game scatter, and the blind man's buff catches them.

Game "Go through the gate"

The course of the game. Spring leads all adults and children with the "eight" ("thread with a needle" movement). With the end of the music, Spring points her hand at a pair of children and adults. They turn to face each other and join hands, in the form of a "collar". The rest of the children, led by Spring, go through this gate. The child remains inside the "gate". The game continues until 4-5 children are caught. They dance to a dance tune, while other children clap their hands merrily.

The game with the "goat".

The course of the game. In the center of the circle in which the children are standing is the "goat". Children will pronounce the words of the nursery rhyme and perform movements in accordance with the text.

The goat went out for a walk

Stretch your legs.

The goat is knocking its legs,

Shouts like a goat:

"Be-e-e, be-e!"

Children move to the center of the circle and back. Children stand in a circle, and the "goat" knocks with "hooves" and shows "horns". The "goat" screams and catches up with the children who scatter.

Playing with the cockerel.

The course of the game. Children stand face-to-face. In the center is a child in a cockerel hat. The text of the nursery rhyme is pronounced and movements are performed.

Damn-thump-thump-thump!

A rooster walks around the yard.

Himself - with spurs,

The tail is with patterns!

Stands under the window

Shouts to the whole yard

Who will hear -

He beats!

Ku-ka-re-ku!

Children walk in a circle, raising their legs bent at the knees high and flapping their wings. "Rooster" also goes in a circle, but in the opposite direction. Children turn to face in a circle, continuing to flap their "wings". The "rooster" stops in the center of the circle, flaps itself with "wings" and shouts. Children scatter, the "rooster" tries to catch up with them.

Game "Ring"

All players line up. The buffoon has a ring in his hands, which he hides in his palms and then tries to pass unnoticed to one of the guys, while saying:

I bury gold,

I bury pure silver!

In the high tower

Guess, guess, girl.

Guess, guess, red!

The one who stands last is looking for the ring, and the buffoon says: "Guess, guess, who has the ring, pure silver." If the participant guessed who has the ring, then he becomes the leader.

The game "At the Bear in the Forest"

The driver is chosen - "bear". He is at some distance from other participants in the game. Children pronounce the text, approaching the "bear".

Bear in the bow

I take mushrooms, berries,

And the bear does not sleep

Everything growls at us.

With the end of the text, the children scatter, the "bear" catches up with them.

During the game, the following words can also be used:

The bear in the forest

I pick mushrooms-berries.

And the bear does not sleep

Everyone is looking at us

And then how it growls

And it will run after us!

And we take berries

And we don't give to the bear,

We go to the forest with a club,

Beat the bear in the back!

Game "Grandpa Mazai"

The course of the game. The players choose Mazai's grandfather. The rest of the participants agree on what movements that indicate work (for example: sowing, harvesting, mowing, etc.) or other type of activity (skiing, skating, playing snowballs, etc.) will be shown to him. They go up to Grandpa Mazai and sing.

Hello, Grandpa Mazai,

Get out of the box!

Where we were - we won't tell

And what we did - we will show!

After these fishing, everyone moves with movements to the work that was agreed upon. If Mazai guesses, the children scatter, and he catches them. Who was caught first. He becomes Mazai's new grandfather, and the game repeats itself. If they don't guess, he is shown another job.

Instead of singing, the following dialogue can sound:

Hello grandfather!

Hello children! Where have you been?

At work.

What they were doing?

After these words, children perform movements.

Game "Blind Man's Man with a Bell"

The course of the game. By lot (counting) they choose the "blind man's buff" and the player he will be looking for. I blindfold the "blind man's buff", and give the other child a bell. The participants in the game stand in a circle. "Zhmurka" must catch the driver with a bell. Then a new pair of players is selected. There can be several “blind man's buff”. Children standing in a circle warn the “blind man” against meeting each other with the words: “Fire! Fire!"

Round dance-game "I walk with a loach"

The course of the game. Children stand in a circle, facing the center. One child is the leader. He has a "bindweed" in his hands (it can have a satin ribbon or a woven oblique string with thick paper leaves sewn to it. While singing the first verse, the presenter goes "eight" (bypassing each child) and bows to the last word of the verse to the one in front of whom stops.

I walk with a loach

I go with green.

I don't know where

Loach put

With the beginning of the 2nd verse, the presenter is followed by the child to whom the presenter bowed.

Put you loach

Put you loach

Put you loach

On the right shoulder.

On the third verse, the movements are repeated.

And from the right,

And from the right,

And from the right

Put it on the left.

By the end of the song, four are walking with the "loach". Then the loach is placed in the center of the circle. Four children dance to a fun dance, performing any dance moves. With the end of the music, the children try to take the "loach". The most agile becomes the leader, and the game repeats itself.

Game "Funny Musicians".

The course of the game. To any two-part melody, children, standing in a circle, play musical instruments (rattles, points, bells, etc.). Parsley stands in the center of the circle conducting. With the end of the first part, the children, putting the tools on the floor, run easily in a circle. Parsley gets into a common circle and runs with the children. With the end of the music, the players quickly disassemble the instruments. The conductor is the one who did not get the instrument.

Game "Zarya-zarynitsa"

The course of the game. Two drivers are selected. Both the drivers and the players stand in a circle, holding a ribbon in their hands (ribbons are fixed on the carousel according to the number of players). Everybody goes in a round dance and sings.

Zarya-zarynitsa, Red maiden,

I walked across the field

I dropped the keys

The keys are golden

Painted ribbons.

One, two, three - don't be crows,

Run like fire!

On the last words of the driver they run in different directions. Whoever takes the free ribbon first is the winner, and the rest chooses his next partner.

"Double burners".

Participants stand in pairs in a column. If there are a lot of burners playing, then you can become pairs in two columns (one against the other) at a distance of 15-20 m. Two "burners" stand in front of the columns - each with his back to his own column. With the words "... the bells are ringing", the last pair in each of the columns separates the arms and runs towards the players from the opposite team, trying to form new pairs with them. "Burners" catch any of the fleeing. Those left without steam become new "burners".

"Zhmurki" Vanya "and" Manya ".

Two drivers are selected (a girl and a boy) and appoint one of them "Manya" with a thin voice, and the second - "Vanya", who speaks in a bass (to create an atmosphere of more fun, the boy can be made "Manya", and the girl "Vanya"). The drivers are blindfolded, sometimes they circle around them.

The rest of the players form a circle around the drivers and join hands. "Vanya" is taken away from "Mani" and offered to find her.

Stretching out his hands forward, "Vanya" begins to search and call: "Where are you, Manya?" “I’m here,” “Manya” answers, but she herself, feeling his approach, runs off to the side. "Vanya" can take someone from the players for "Manya". In this case, the error is explained to him. At the same time, the players do not allow “Mana” to leave the circle and bump into something. When "Vanya" finds "Manya", they are replaced by a new pair of drivers.

Children standing in a circle should not tell drivers where who is.

To catch "Manyu", it is enough to touch it with your hand, not grabbing or holding it.

If “Vanya” cannot catch “Manya” for a long time, they should be offered to change roles or give way to a new pair of applicants.

"Earth - water - sky"

(or "The Beast - Fish - Bird")

The players should know the names of fish, birds, animals to make the game more fun and active. In the first and second versions of the name, the correspondence is guessed: sky - birds, water - fish, etc. All interested children take part in the game. The players sit or stand in a circle facing the center. In the middle of the circle - the leader with the ball (better stuffed).

The presenter pronounces one of the words of the name of the game and immediately throws the ball into the hands of any player. He catches the ball, names the appropriate animal, for example, a fox or a bear for the word "beast" ("land"), and returns the ball to the presenter. If the participant of the game did not manage to name or incorrectly named the animal, did not manage to catch the ball, then he receives a penalty point or gives a fant (any small object).

The presenter throws the ball to new players, trying to keep everyone in suspense, waiting for the ball and the need to quickly name the right animal. The ball can be thrown twice to the same player. When a group of participants with penalty points accumulates, the game is interrupted to play forfeits, and those who have penalty points are given a fun group task: to sing, dance, imitate a pantomime, etc. Then the game continues with a new host.

The presenter can throw the ball only by saying the word "earth" or something else.

You cannot repeat the names of animals.

"Broken telephone"

(The old name of the game is "Rumor")

8-10 people take part in the game. Children sit in a row or semicircle. One is chosen as the host. He sits down first and comes up with a word or phrase. The presenter whispers this phrase in the ear of the neighboring player. He passes what he heard to the next in order, etc. It is necessary to transmit the phrase in the ear so that others do not hear. You should speak clearly, without distorting words on purpose. The one who violated this sits down last in the row.

Then the presenter approaches the last player in the row and asks to pronounce what he was told. Almost always, changes occur with the initial phrase, because the player is not always able to hear the word well and replace it with a similar sound. To find out who was the first to distort the phrase, they are asked to repeat what he heard, not only the last in the row, but also the second from the edge. The first distorted word is transplanted to the end of the row. The presenter sits in the vacant seat. The new leader becomes the one who is at the beginning of the row. If the phrase or word is reproduced without errors, the previous player remains the leader.

"The third is an extra one with a scallop"

The players gather in a small area or in a hall. Choose two drivers. The rest become in a circle in pairs: one in front of the other. One driver runs away from the second and can stand in front of any pair. The one standing behind is superfluous and must run away from the second driver.

The second drivers have in their hand a belt or belt (or a tourniquet twisted from a scarf, shawl). The second driver runs around the players, trying to hit (lash) the first driver with a belt before he becomes in front of someone's pair. If he succeeds, he throws the belt up and runs away. The salted one must now catch up and make a fierce attack. Only one light belt strike is allowed.

To keep the game fun, drivers use unexpected tricks every now and then. For example, the second driver on the run can imperceptibly pass the belt to someone standing, while he continues to chase the first driver. As soon as he runs near the player holding the belt, he triumphantly "lashes" the driver with the belt. Then he tosses the belt and runs away, becoming the new first driver. The first turns into the second and must, picking up the belt, catch up with the fleeing one. The former second driver joins the remaining incomplete pair.

The game ends by agreement.

Drivers should not run away from the circle or cross it, shortening the distance. The evader can stand in front of any standing pair.

"Golden Gate"

Two of the participants in the game are selected. They will be "sun" and "moon" ("month"). Then the "sun" and "month" stand facing each other, hold hands and raise them, as if forming a gate. The rest of the players join hands and walk in a line through the "gate". At the same time, the players sing their favorite songs. When the last one goes through the “gate”, they “close”. The one who got there is quietly asked which side he would like to take: behind the "moon" or "sun". The player selects and stands behind the corresponding player. The rest again go through the "gate", and the game continues until the last. When everyone is assigned, the groups arrange a tug of war. A variation of the game: children depicting a "gate" say:

Golden Gate

Not always skipped:

The first time he says goodbye

The second time is prohibited,

And the third time

We will not let you pass!

The "gates" close at the last word and "catch" the one who remains in them. In order not to be caught, those walking involuntarily accelerate their steps, sometimes switch to running, and those who catch, in turn, change the speed of the recitative. The game becomes more mobile and fun. It also ends with a tug of war.

Another type of game is that the "gate" is 2 pairs. The players who portrayed them say the rhyme at the same time (in tune). The caught do not choose where to stand, but immediately join the team of the "gate" that caught them. The depicting gates compete in who will catch the players the most. The competition ends with a tug.

"Traps"

Several "traps" are selected from among the players (2 people each). Standing in pairs facing each other, they raise their closed hands, forming a collar, or "traps" through which the rest of the players run hand in hand.

The "traps" form a circle and are open while the music is playing (or the tambourine is playing). At the signal (whistle, loud bang, stopping the music), the "traps" are closed; hands go down, holding those caught between the hands.

The caught join hands with the participants of the "trap", forming a circle of 3-4 people. They again raise their hands, and the chain of the other players again runs in a circle, running through the "traps". They close again and again until only 2-3 caught, the fastest and most dexterous, remain.

The game is repeated 2-3 times.

"Mail"

("Where and where?")

Any number of players participate. Each of the players conceives and names loudly some city. The rest must remember - who has which city.

Anyone can start the game by imitating the sounds of a mail bell: "Tinker, tinker, tinker!". Someone immediately asks: "Who is going?" - "Mail". "Where and where?" - "From Moscow to Paris" (you need to name only those cities that are selected by the players). The one who chose Moscow answers, and the next one speaks necessarily the one whose city is Paris:

And what are they doing in Moscow?

Everyone walks around, digging potatoes, - can answer "who came from Moscow."

Immediately, all the players, except for the "arrived" one, begin to depict how they are digging potatoes in Moscow. Tasks should be funny and, if possible, difficult to accomplish, since from those who cannot portray this, the “newcomer” takes a phantom (any thing) and adds it up in front of everyone.

Now the one who chooses Paris says "Ding, ding!" etc. Game continues. At the end, forfeits are played.

"Two Frosts"

From the players they choose the drivers - two Frosts. They go to the middle of the room. Participants of the game from one side of the hall, where they gather at the beginning, must run across to the other side. This happens after the next dialogue. Akimbo, two "Frosts" address the audience:

We are two young brothers, two Daring Frosts.

Frost, Red Nose, one announces.

I am Frost, Blue Nose, - another introduces himself and asks with a feigned threat in his voice: - Well, who of you will decide to set off on the path?

The children answer in unison:

We are not afraid of threats, and we are not afraid of frost!

After the spoken words, the children rush to run across to the other side of the hall. If none of the players dares to do this, "Frosts" announce that all who do not run to the count of "three" will become losers - they will be "frozen". Frosts read: "One, two, three!" Everyone rushes to run across the hall, and "Frosts" are trying to shower (touch) the children with their hand. The salted one must stop, freeze motionless, like "frozen". It can be "unfreezed" by others, who have not yet been hardened by the player, by touching it with their hand. Then he runs along with everyone to the opposite border of the hall, where "Frosts" no longer have the right to run.

At the beginning of the game, you can agree that the “frozen” drivers take them to their “ice palace”, where they cannot be rescued until the drivers change.

"I bury the gold."

Children sit in a circle on the floor with their legs crossed, their hands behind their backs. One of the players is put in the hands of an object, which must be found by the driver chosen by the rhyme. At the same time, the participants in the game hum a familiar song quietly if the driver moves away from the object, and loudly if he approaches it. You can use the sentence instead of a song:

I bury gold,

I bury pure silver

In a high chamber.

Guess, guess, red,

Walking across the field

Weave a braid to Russu,

First-rate silk

Embellish with gold.

Instead of a sentence, one of the players may ring a bell.

"Nonsense".

The driver is chosen, who moves to the side. The participants in the game think of any objects (each one is his own). The driver comes and asks the participants questions, in response to which the players must name the intended object.

The player whose answer came closest to the question asked becomes the driver.

"Zhmurki".

The driver - blind man's buff - becomes in the center. He is blindfolded and turned several times around him. There is a dialogue between the blind man's buff and the players:

Where are you standing?

On the bridge.

What do you sell?

Look for us for three years.

The participants disperse around the room, the blind man's buff goes to look for them. During the game, participants should not leave their seats. They are allowed to squat, bend, kneel. If the driver finds and guesses the child, he gives him the role of blind man's buff.

"Zhmurki vice versa."

The blind man's buff is selected. But they don't blindfold him. He is seated in front of a large white screen. A flashlight is placed at a short distance from the screen. The players pass between the lantern and the screen, and the blind man's eyes must recognize the participants in the game through the shadows. Players can wear any piece of clothing to confuse the driver. For each incorrectly named player, the driver gives a phantom.

The game "Ring, ring"

They choose the presenter with the help of a rhyme.

Children sit on the bench, fold their palms. There are two left to stand. One of them (the presenter) has a ring. Everyone begins to pronounce the text and shake their palms together in time. The driver with a ring in his palms alternately approaches each of the seated and imperceptibly lowers the ring to one of them. The second of those standing must guess who has the ring in his palms. If he guesses, he sits down in the place of the one who had the ring. If not, everyone says in unison: “One, two, three, ring, run.” The child with the ring runs away. The one who guessed rushes in pursuit. The players say:

Ring, ring, roll on the porch

Return across the field, across the meadow, making a circle!

Game variant with a slightly different name "In the rings" suggests G. Naumenko.

Children sit in a row and fold their palms like a boat. The driver places his palms in the palms of each participant in the game. To one of them, he must imperceptibly leave a "ring" - a ring, a pebble, a nut, which is sandwiched between his palms. At the same time, he condemns:

I'm walking along the bench

I bury the gold ring -

To mother's house,

Under the priest's castle.

You cannot guess, you cannot guess!

I can't tell you, I can't tell you!

Those sitting answer:

We've been wondering for a long time

We have been looking for a ring for a long time -

All behind strong locks

Behind the oak doors.

Then one of the players tries to guess who has hidden the ring. He is sentenced:

A ring rolled off the red porch -

In barns, in cages, in barns, in hallways.

Find the golden ring!

If he finds who has a hidden ring, they run with him in different directions at the same time, running around the shop. Whoever sits down first in an empty seat is the driver. He hides the ring again.

"Woodpecker".

A woodpecker walks on a plow,

Looking for a grain of wheat

Didn't find and hammers bitches:

Knock, knock, knock, knock!

They choose a woodpecker, go up to a tree and sing.

The woodpecker takes a stick and counts to himself,

Knocks on wood for the intended number of times.

The player who calls the number correctly

Beats, so many times runs around the tree,

And he becomes a new woodpecker.

"Zarya-Zarynitsa".

Zarya-zarynitsa, red maiden.

I walked across the field and dropped my keys.

The keys are gold, the ribbons are blue.

One, two - not a crow, but run like fire.

Children hold the carousel by the ribbons, walk in circles and sing.

The driver walks outside the circle, touches with the last words

One of the players. They scatter in different directions, who

The first one will take up the tape. The loser becomes the driver.

"Golden Gate".

Golden Gate, come in, gentlemen!

For the first time it is forgiven, the second time is forbidden,

And for the third time we will not let you in.

The two leaders make the gate. One is a "silver saucer"

the other is a "liquid apple". Everyone goes through the gate, with the last one

in a word, the gate is lowered, delaying one of the players.

Player: - "Golden Gate, let you pass me."

Answer: - “We let everyone through, but we leave you. What do you choose

Pouring apple or silver saucer?

The player goes to the selected side.

So the children are divided into two teams, then the tug of war.

"Strap".

I hide, I hide the strap

Under a viburnum bush,

And who oversleeps the dawn,

To beat to beat.

The driver with a strap walks around the circle, children have closed eyes.

With the last word, he puts the belt behind someone's back.

He runs after the driver, trying to catch up and lightly hit him

Strap. The driver is trying to take the place of the one who is running after him.

"Sit down, Yasha."

Yasha is selected. He stands in the center, he is blindfolded.

Everyone walks in circles and sings.

Sit, sit, Yasha under a walnut bush,

Gnaw, gnaw, Yasha, hardened nuts,

Chock, chock, piglet.

Get up Yasha is a fool!

Where is your bride and what is she wearing?

What is her name and where will they bring them from?

Yasha is spinning in place at this time, at the end of

Goes at random, selects someone and leads to

The middle. You need to find out who is in front of him, give a name.

The game takes place on a level ground. The players are divided into two teams, which line up against each other in a chain at a distance of 10-15 meters. The first team goes forward with the words: -Boyars, and we have come to you! And he returns to its original place: -Dear, and we have come to you! Another repeats this maneuver with the words: - Boyars, why did they come? Dear ones, why did they come? Dialogue begins: - Boyars, we need a bride. Dear ones, we need a bride. -Boyars, and what is sweet to you? Dear, and what is sweet to you? The first team confers and chooses someone: -Boyars, we have this sweet (they point to the chosen one). Dear ones, this is lovely. The selected player turns in a circle and now walks and stands in the chain, looking the other way. The dialogue continues: -Boyars, she's a fool with us. Dear ones, she is a fool with us. -Boyars, and we whip her. Dear ones, we whip it. - Boyars, she's afraid of the whip. Dear ones, she is afraid of the whip. -Boyars, and we will give gingerbread. Dear ones, we will give you a gingerbread. - Boyars, her teeth hurt. Dear ones, her teeth hurt. - Boyars, and we will take you to the doctor. Dear ones, we will take you to the doctor. - Boyars, she will bite the doctor. Dear ones, she will bite the doctor. The first command concludes: - Boyars, do not play the fool, give us the bride forever! The one who was chosen as the bride must scatter and break the chain of the first team. If he succeeds, then he returns to his team, taking with him any player first. If the chain is not broken, then the bride remains in the first team, that is, she gets married. In any case, the losing team starts the second round. The task of the teams is to keep more players.

The game takes place on a level ground. The players are divided into two teams, which line up against each other in a chain at a distance of 10-15 meters. The first team goes forward with the words: -Boyars, and we have come to you! And it returns to its original place:

-Dear ones, we have come to you!

Another repeats this maneuver with the words:

- Boyars, why did they come? Dear ones, why did they come?

Dialogue begins:

-Boyars, we need a bride. Dear ones, we need a bride. -Boyars, and what is sweet to you? Dear, and what is sweet to you? The first team confers and chooses someone:

-Boyars, this is sweet to us(point to the selected one). Dear ones, this is lovely. The selected player turns in a circle and now walks and stands in the chain, looking the other way. The dialogue continues:

-Boyars, she's a fool with us. Dear ones, she is a fool with us. -Boyars, and we whip her. Dear ones, we whip it. -Boyars, she is afraid of the whip. Dear ones, she is afraid of the whip. -Boyars, we'll give you a gingerbread. Dear ones, we will give you a gingerbread. -Boyars, her teeth hurt. Dear ones, her teeth hurt. -Boyars, and we'll take you to the doctor. Dear ones, we will take you to the doctor. - Boyars, she will bite the doctor. Dear ones, she will bite the doctor . The first command completes:

Boyars, do not play the fool, give us the bride forever!

The one who was chosen fiancee, must scatter and break the chain of the first team. If he succeeds, then he returns to his team, taking with him any player first. If the chain is not broken, then bride remains in the first team, i.e. marry... In any case, the losing team starts the second round. The task of the teams is to keep more players.

Russian folk games

1. Green turnip
All the players stand in a circle, join hands, sing a song:
Green turnip, hold on tight
whoever breaks off will not return.
One two Three.
On the count of three, everyone turns around as they please, but their hands are trying not to disengage. Whoever breaks his hands enters the circle, the rest repeat the song. And so several times.

2. On a high chair
One of the players sits in a circle on a chair or on a tree stump. Everyone stands around him and speaks the words:
I'm sitting on a chair myself,
I'm sitting on the painted one.

he will buy me.
Who will buy me
kiss three times!
One two Three!
On the count of three, everyone runs to the seated one. Whoever reaches him first and kisses (or touches) three times on the cheek, he sits in a circle and everything is repeated from the beginning.

3. Zarya-Zarenitsa
In the center, a pole is strengthened (or one of the players is holding) a pole, on which multicolored ribbons are fixed (about2 m). A driver is selected who stands or walks around the players, the rest take the ends of the ribbons and begin to walk around the pole with a song:
Zarya-Zarenitsa - Red Maiden
I walked around the field, dropped the keys,
the keys are gold, the ribbons are blue.
One, two - do not crow,
run like fire!
On the word "fire", the driver touches the one who is opposite him (or whom he has already looked at), he throws the end of his ribbon and they run in different directions around the players. Whoever grabs the free tape first gets into a circle, the latecomer remains to drive.

4. Dudar

- Dudar, Dudar, what hurts?
Dudar shows and names that he has a pain (arm, head, back, knee, etc.), everyone puts their hands to each other in this place and again begins to walk in a circle with a song.
Dudar, Dudar, Dudarische
old, old old lady. etc.
When he gets tired of playing, Dudar says: "He recovered!"

5. Cabbage
Everyone joins hands, begins to sing a song:
Oh, cabbage, my seating arrangement,
only sweet one annoyance.
Ah, cabbage, it spreads easily -
two are walking - the third is angry.
Ah, cabbage, golden root,
and my dear is a golden groom!
With the words: Hang, hang, curl the circle in one place (near the leader) breaks and everyone starts to twist like a spiral around one of the ends (where there is no leader).
Then, with the words: Veisya, veisya, develop, the leader begins to quickly unwind the spiral (you can - quickly, with a snake and figure eight, in jerks).

6. Snake
The "snake" walks in front of the players with the words:
I am a snake, a snake, a snake
I crawl, crawl, crawl.
Suitable for one of the players:
- Do you want to be my tail?
- Want!
- follow me!
They walk together:
I am a snake, a snake, a snake
I crawl, crawl, crawl.
Suitable for another player:
- Do you want to be my tail?
- Want!
-Crawl!
The player must crawl between the legs of the "snake" and become its "tail". And so on, until all comers are gathered.

7. Option ZHMUROK.

ZHMURKA and BELLS are selected.

They are inside the round dance. The blind man's buff is tied with a bandage, the bell is given a bell in his hands! Someone spins Zhmurka, everyone chants in chorus:
Tryntsy-bryntsy bells
Gold plated ends
Who plays bells
The blind man's buff won't catch him!
Then Zhmurka catches the Bell. The rest keep the circle and actively "root" for someone and give hints. " If there are a lot of people, then you can probably start several Bells at once.

8. Frying pan

Two teams. Players stand one way from each team facing the center of the circle they form. They join hands and run in a circle. At the same time, you cannot run into the center of the circle, that is, step on the "frying pan" - you will burn yourself, depriving the team of one point.

Hearing the command: "Plant!", Everyone stops and begins to pull inside the circle - "put in the pan" - their neighbors-opponents. This must be done, resting on your feet, so as not to get there yourself.

On command: "Turn on the light!" - all again run in a circle. This is repeated until everyone in one of the teams is “baked”. Sometimes lumps of snow - "pancakes" are put on the "frying pan". Then you can step on the circle, the main thing is not to step on the pancakes.

9. The game "In circles"

The driver is selected. The players form a circle. In the center, the driver is standing with his eyes closed. Everyone walks around him and sings:

Then they stop, and the driver feels the heads of all. The one whom he correctly calls by name goes into the circle of the guides.

10. The game "Honey or sugar"

The players are divided into two teams: they choose who to be - honey or sugar. Then they take a stick and pull it by both ends. Compete on which side has more honey or sugar.

11. Game "Gardener and Sparrow"

The "gardener" and the "sparrow" are selected according to the counting. The rest join hands, forming a circle, the "gardener" sings:

Hey sparrow, don't peck the hemp
Not theirs, not mine, not neighbors.
I will kill your leg for this hemp.

The "gardener" runs to catch the "sparrow". Children let and let the sparrow go into the circle. Having caught the "sparrow", the "gardener" changes places with him or new drivers are chosen.

12. The game "Sun"

According to the counting, the driver is chosen - "The Sun". The rest of the children stand in a circle. "The Sun" stands in the middle of the circle, everyone is singing:

Burn the sun brighter!
Summer will be hotter
And the winter is warmer
And spring is nicer!

The first two lines go in a round dance, on the next two they turn to face each other, bow, then come closer to the "Sun", it says "HOT!" and catches up with children. Having caught up with the player, touches him, the child freezes and leaves the game.

Russian folk games are very diverse: children's games, board games, round dance games for adults with folk songs, jokes, dances. Games have long served as a means of self-knowledge, here they showed their best qualities: kindness, nobility, mutual assistance, self-sacrifice for the sake of others.

There is no need to prove that for a long time folk games were not just entertainment, but also education, upbringing, psychological relief, and at festivals and festivities they were certainly included in the "cultural program". For example, catch-up traps: dexterity is developed, attention is tuned, and reaction speed is improved. And special studies show that they also have a very beneficial effect on the formation of a culture of communication.

Which of the catch-up catchers, apart from the banal "salo" and "tag", were popular in Russia? Often these were those that were accompanied by sayings, jokes, hums, chants. It's amazing how tenacious they were. Maybe because, for all their simplicity, they hide in themselves some kind of secret, incomprehensible to the mind, but dear to the soul? And therefore, for centuries, games have been preserved that captivate each new generation. Let's remember them?

Burners
It can be said to be a "classic of the genre". Players are arranged in pairs, holding hands and forming a column. The driver stands in front. All chorus loudly speak or sing:

Burn, burn clearly
In order not to go out.
Burn, burn clearly
In order not to go out.

Look at the sky -
The birds are flying.
The bells are ringing!
One, two, three - run !!!

Another variant:

Burn, burn, clear
In order not to go out.
And one, and two, and three.
Last couple, run!

In any case, at the word "run", those in the last pair open their hands and rush to the beginning of the column, running around it from different sides (one on the left, the other on the right), and the driver tries to catch one of them before the pair, having met, he will again join hands.

If this works out, then, together with the caught player, the driver gets into the first pair of columns, and the one who was not caught becomes the driver.

Frost - Red nose

The borders of two "houses" are outlined along the edges of the playground. Players gather in one of them.

Leading, i.e. Frost - Red nose, stands in the middle of the site and says:

I am Frost - Red nose,
All ice cream indiscriminately.
I'll deal with everyone soon
Who will decide now
To embark on a long journey!

The responders chant:

We are not afraid of threats
And we are not afraid of frost!

And then they run to the opposite "house". Frost tries to catch up with them and "freeze": those whom he manages to touch with his hand freeze in place. At the end of the dash, they either drop out of the game or remain in a “frozen” position for subsequent rounds. In this case, the winner is the one who remains the last to escape the touch of Frost.

Malechina - cripple

Putting the stick on your finger, palm, leg, etc., you need to keep it in balance while they say the words: "Malechina-cripple"
how many hours until evening?
One, two ... ten.

Golden Gate
A pair of players stand facing each other and raise their hands up - this is the gate. The rest of the players take each other so that a chain is obtained.
The gate players say the rhyme, and the chain must quickly pass between them.

Golden Gate
Not always skipped.
The first time he says goodbye
The second is prohibited.
And the third time
We will not let you pass!

With these words, hands are lowered, the gate is slammed. Those that are caught become additional gates. The "gate" wins if it succeeds in catching all the players.

Game "Guide"

This is more than just a game. This is an acquaintance of souls, when such factors as appearance and sight are not distracted.

Men stand in the inner circle, facing the center of the circle, hold hands and close their eyes. In the outer circle, girls dance in a round dance to the music. After some time, at the signal of the host, the clap or the whistle of the girls begin to take apart the guys - any of those that they like who are closer. They take the guy by the hand and lead him in a circle, the guy walks with his eyes closed all this time. It is desirable that the number of girls and boys coincide, so that no one is left standing alone in the inner circle.

At the signal from the presenter, the girls neatly line up the guys again in the inner circle, and they themselves go on in a round dance. This is repeated three times. When, after the third time, the guys are again put in the inner circle, the presenter gives a signal - "You can open your eyes." The hack begins. The guys describe their feelings, name which of the three girls they liked, whom they would like to see. Girls are usually happy to admit and show off.
Then the girls stand in the inner circle with their eyes closed, and the guys in the outer one and everything is repeated.

Geese

Along the edges of the playground there are two "houses", in one of which the players - "geese" gather. Chosen for the role of "wolf" is placed in a circle, symbolizing his lair. The presenter goes to an empty "house" and starts a dialogue with the "geese":

Geese, geese!
- Ha-ha-ha!
- Do you want to eat?
- Yes Yes Yes!
- So fly home!
- We can not:
Gray wolf under the mountain
Doesn't let us go home!
- Well, fly as you want,
Only take care of your wings!

"Geese", flapping their wings, try to cross to another house, and "the wolf catches them." The caught player becomes a "wolf".

This game is the most ancient one (as pointed out by academician B.A. Rybakov, and also mentioned by V.Ya. Propp).

Leading - Yasha (ie Lizard - the master of the underwater and underground world, one of the incarnations of Veles) sits in the center of the circle formed by the rest of the game. Holding hands, they move in a round dance, singing:

Yasha sits-sits
Under the walnut bush.
Yasha gnaws and gnaws
Roasted nuts,
Gifts for my dear ...

After that, a dialogue takes place:

What does Yasha want?
- I want to live.
- Take yourself a girl,
Which you want.

The participants in the round dance scatter, and "Yasha" catches someone: if he catches the girl, he kisses her, if the guy, he becomes the driver.

The bear in the forest

They choose one "bear". Contains two circles. One place is for the "bear", the other is a home for the rest of the participants. Everyone leaves the house with the words:

The bear in the forest
I take mushrooms, berries,
And the bear does not sleep
And growls at us.

At the last word, the "bear" snarls out of the den, and the rest run to the "house". The caught one becomes a "bear".

Mousetrap.

Everyone stands in a circle, holding hands - this is a mousetrap. One or two are "mice". They are outside the circle. Holding hands and lifting them up, they move in a circle with the words:

Oh, how tired the mice are
They ate everything, ate everything!
Beware, cheats,
We'll get to you!
Let's slam the mousetrap
And we'll catch you right away!

As the text is spoken, "mice" run in and out of the circle. With the last word, "the mousetrap slams," they lower their hands and squat down. Those who do not have time to run out of the circle of "mice" are considered caught and stand in a circle. Other "mice" are selected.

"Salki"("Fifteen", "Trap", "Trap", "Lyapki", "Modeling", "Dumplings", "Salo", etc.)

This game has different names and rules, but the main content is the same: one or more drivers catch other players and, if caught, change roles with them.

The game can be played in a wide variety of conditions: indoors, outdoors, by children of all ages, young people and adults. The number of participants is from 3 to 40 people. The game does not require leaders or referees.

One driver is chosen by lot or by counting - "tag". The boundaries of the game area are conventionally set. Everyone scatters within this area. The driver announces: "I am a tag!" - and begins to catch the players within the established limits of the court. Whoever catches up and pisses (touches), he becomes a "tag" and announces, raising his hand up: "I am a tag!" He begins to catch the players, and the former "tag" runs away with everyone. The game has no definite ending.

Varieties of "Salok"

- "Salki with a house"... For those fleeing, a "house" is drawn on the site, in which they can escape from the "tag", but they have no right to stay there for a long time.

Salki "Feet off the ground"... Fleeing from the "tag", the players must take their feet off the ground (floor). For this purpose, they climb on any object or sit down, lie down, raising their legs up. In this position, the "tag" has no right to pork them.

Salki "Give me your hand"... In this game, the person running away from the "tag" shouts: "Give me your hand!" If one of the comrades takes his hand with him, then the driver has no right to grease them. If, on the other hand, another player joins, that is, there will be three of them, the driver has the right to kill any extreme.

-"Salki-crossings"... The runners can help each other out by crossing the road between the catching up "tag" and the one who runs away. As soon as someone crosses the road, "Salka" must catch him. Then again someone seeks to help out a comrade and runs across the road, the "tag" begins to catch him, and so everyone strives to save the comrade, after whom the "tag" is running. The driver ("tag") must quickly switch and catch a new player crossing the road.

Gradually, each generation changes, habits and occupations change. Increasingly, you can see a child not on the street with children, but at the computer, or sticking to the phone. And before, our ancestors did nothing but spend almost all their time on the street. The favorite time of the year for children has always been a snowy winter. Snowball games, sledding, snow women and more. All this created a great mood before the winter holidays. There are also different winter games:

  • King of the Hill.
  • Capture of the winter base.
  • Climb up the pole.
  • Snowballs.

For example, the rules of the King of the Hill game are simple. Try to be the first to conquer the top of the snowy hill and hold out on it as long as possible, at the same time throwing off rivals from it. The winner is the one who lasts longer at the top.

A very old game that has come down to us is to climb a pole. The rules are also simple, but at the same time difficult, considering that it is -15 degrees outside. You need to climb barefoot on a three-meter post and hang on it for one minute. If successful, the winner was awarded a plate of delicious pancakes and hot tea.

Everyday snowballs have no rules. It is enough to mold a good round snowball from a lump of snow and accurately launch it at your opponent. Usually, every man for himself in this game and fire at everyone in a row, but it happens that they are divided into two teams, and the team is already shooting.

The most popular game around the world

Wherever you are, in any corner of the planet, you will always see snow barricades built by children. And this is not surprising. Because the game - the capture of the winter base, is considered the most popular winter game. The rules are pretty simple. The main thing here is speed and agility. Typically, this game has five children on each team. You need to quickly build your winter bases, and after doing this, start firing at your opponents, forcing them to hide behind the barricades. You need to seize this moment and try to quickly break the enemy base, but if at least one snowball hits the player, then he must leave the game for two minutes. The winner is the team that completely destroys the enemy base.

In our area, such a game as hockey is popular. They play this ice-skating game with a hockey stick in their hands. The main goal is to score the puck into the opponent's goal. The players have serious protective suits that are needed to protect the body. A puck hitting your face can knock out all your teeth. Hockey is played by 6 players from each team. Goalkeeper, three forwards and two defenders. All their actions must be coordinated and worked out. Only in this case the team will win.

There are three periods in hockey, which last for 20 minutes.
