The "Accident" team as a separate musical unit was formed in 1983 by Moscow State University students Alexei Kortnev and Valdis Pelsh. They were soon joined by saxophonist Pavel Mordyukov and pianist Sergei Chekryzhov and drummer Vadim Sorokin, who also studied at Moscow University.

In the period from 1987 to 1990, at the Student Theater of Moscow State University, the NS wrote and staged his first musical performances - "Off-season" and "Garden of Idiots", and took an active part in the theatrical cabaret "Blue Nights of the Cheka". With "Blue Nights" and "Garden", the musicians of the National Assembly and the troupe of the Theater have traveled a third of the world. Including visited Czechoslovakia (5 times), Finland (2 times), Germany (3 times), Great Britain (3 times), Spain, in sixteen (out of fifty possible) states of America in a myriad of Soviet cities.

By this time, the team included three more members - bassist Andrey Guvakov and guitarist Dmitry Chuvelev. The first drummer in the history of the National Assembly, Vadik Sorokin, was carried away by solo projects and was replaced by Dmitry Morozov, who had previously worked as an illuminator at the Student Theater.

The team "Accident" together with actors Mikhail Shirvindt and Igor Zolotovitsky is at the origin of the non-political social movement "March of the Sexual Majority". Also in our luggage are large-scale campaigns "Money is trash!" and "The Clowns Have Arrived" (quiet entertainment).

In 1997, due to the ever-increasing employment, Valdis Pelsh, the favorite of millions, went on academic leave. In the same year, Andrei Guvakov and Pavel Mordyukov created their own NS label called "Delicatessen".

In the summer of 1998, instead of the sick Dmitry Morozov, Pavel Cheremisin took over the watch over the NA drums.

In the fall of 98, the Accident team celebrated its 15th anniversary. The official celebration ceremony took place at the Palace of Culture of Moscow State University. The number of people in the hall and outside it indicated two things - firstly, the size of the hall was clearly not designed for such a mass of fans, and secondly, it was not in vain that they tried these 15 years!

In mid-1999, they finally completed the construction of their own studio, which is called the "House of the Composer". The sixth album of the National Assembly "Prunes and Dried Apricots" was recorded in it. By this time, the team had a seventh musician - sound engineer Pavel Gonin moved to percussion.

In the spring of 2001, bassist Andrei Guvakov once again went to work in America, and Roman Mamaev took over the NS bass guitar. As many admit, the stage is sorely lacking the mysterious fair-haired, adored by all Andryusha Guvakov, but the play has definitely become better. We must pay tribute to the new bass player - he went through the line of concert performances with dignity, during which the audience, who did not immediately understand everything, whipped him with shouts like "Give Guva back!"

"Accident" and "Quartet I"

The group has long and fruitfully collaborated with the satirical theater "Quartet I". The result of this cooperation is the performances "Radio Day" and "Election Day", in which the songs of the group are played. The films "Radio Day" and "Election Day" were also released. Interestingly, building on the success of Radio Day, the theater launched the play Election Day, the success of which, in turn, prompted a film adaptation. The film "Radio Day" closed the tetralogy.

Years of issue:

"Radio day"

While working on the music for The Radio Day play, Aleksey Kortnev set himself the task of writing parodies of musical genres in all directions - from hard rock to thug romance. Parody musical numbers in the play are performed by fictional musical "groups", although all the compositions are performed, of course, by the group itself in makeup, costumes, etc. appropriate to the song style. group, then the jubilee performance, dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the production, was, in fact, a tribute to the group - the songs "Accident" were performed by other groups and artists.

In the film "Radio Day" completely different songs of other performers and groups sound (all under their real names). The only song "Accident" present in the play and in the film is "Radio".

"Election Day"

In the play "Election Day", "Accident" used the same technique as in "Radio Day": musical parodies are allegedly performed by various "groups" of various styles; naturally, in fact, all the musical accompaniment is also performed by "Accident" in the appropriate setting.

In the film "Election Day", the band's music is performed only by other performers (under fictitious parody names). The songs basically coincide with the compositions from the play; the parodic names of the fictional "groups" also coincide, in general. However, as in the case of Radio Day, the soundtracks in a performance-film pair are completely independent albums.

On Election Day, Aleksey Kortnev plays Cossack chieftain Paramonov. The role received conflicting reviews in the Cossack environment - from delight to complete rejection.

In 2013, the "Accident" team celebrated its 30th anniversary!

For the anniversary, we present to all our fans a new "old" album - a disc of the band's early songs, which for various reasons were never recorded in the studio. The album was released both on digital media and on vinyl - for true connoisseurs and collectors.

Sergey Chekryzhov: I consider "Tunnel" one of the most successful NS albums in terms of content and layout. It all started with what Lyosha brought, as they like to say now, a new corpus of texts, which inspired all of us a lot ... "

A collection of the best songs on two CDs, released for the 25th anniversary of the team.

The first disc is composed of recognized hits, the second - based on the musicians' own preferences.

Alexey Kortnev: “On this album, almost everything sounds the way I wanted, as I imagined ... I really love a few songs from this album. First of all, "Pantalone" and "Baklana" ...

For its 21st anniversary, the team presented a large concert show at the State Concert Hall "Russia". In this program, many NS songs were performed in unexpected arrangements, and the vocal parts, together with Alexei Kortnev, were performed by friends of the team - famous artists and musicians.

The recording of the Zirkus program became the team's only official live album.

Roman Mamaev: “Yes, it was in the year of the TWENTY YEAR ... Already in the spring there were such moods that if you did not record an album for this significant event, then it would be ... no, in fact, no one allowed such thoughts ... That year no one went to vacation. Because everyone was recording the ALBUM ... The excitement reigned. Mitya always answered all questions about the quality of the next session with enthusiasm, and not always with censorship ... "

Dmitry Chuvelev: “In 1998, as many remember, there was a crisis in our country, and we realized that we would no longer be given money for albums in large and expensive studios. So we were on a train, thinking what to do, and decided to write a low-budget album. And just before that I had assembled a small studio at home ... "

Valdis Pelsh: “Offseason” is our youth, our serious formation, because the songs of “Offseason” received the first wide recognition ... After the “Offseason” program was made, we, in fact, began to exist as a real creative unit ... "

Sergey Chekryzhov: “After the release of the first album, we were extremely inspired. And they began to think about creating a second one ... In the process of recording, the concept of the album was born - a radio concert with meaningful and ironic voice-over preambles ... It seems to me that in many ways the second album influenced the NS style, eclectic and unique ... "

Pavel Mordyukov: “Trody Pludov, as the title generally implies, is not a well-thought-out conceptual album, but an attempt to record what we have accumulated by the beginning of the 90s ... The album is probably the most eclectic, unprofessional and uneven of all albums NS. But, in my opinion, he is the most charming and bright ... "

Since 2014, Alexey Kortnev and Sergey Chekryzhov organized a branch of the group - the duet "Chastny case". The duo makes independent performances, sometimes even replacing the concerts of the group itself. The repertoire includes revised, acoustic versions of the famous songs of the group "Accident". They are performed with a guitar, accordion or grand piano.
