Tale about the New Year: how the little animals arranged a holiday. New Year: a Terribly Confused Business Tale about the New Year read short

Once all the inhabitants of the fairy forest fell out strongly and decided never to communicate with each other again. Already no one remembered exactly how the conflict began, but everyone was very stubborn and proud. The accumulated resentment did not allow them to take the first step, and the animals were bored alone. But still, this is a fairy tale about the New Year, so let's not talk about the bad ones.
Holidays were approaching, forest dwellers recalled last year's merry meeting of the New Year and thought about how to celebrate such an important event this year. After all, no one was going to put up. As a result, everyone decided to celebrate the New Year on their own.

Closer to the 31st, the first difficulties began. The squirrel decorated the tree with pine cones and nuts, but could not think of anything with lighting. “Nothing, it’s also very beautiful,” she thought and became sad.
The Bunny had another problem - he found a beautiful garland and was already imagining the festive New Year's lights, but he could not reach the Christmas tree, because he was too short.
The fox prepared many festive dishes, decorated a small but neat pine tree and was about to celebrate when she suddenly remembered that she could not sing at all. A New Year without songs did not fit in her head, and this was the main reason for her upset.
The wolf did not understand aesthetics and, moreover, did not know how to cook. The lack of a festive mood, food and a tree made him sullen and angry. And Teddy Bear, realistically assessing the situation, decided that oversleeping the New Year is quite a decent idea.
And a similar situation happened in every house in the fairy forest. The new year was sad and boring. This would be the end of our fairy tale, if not for the New Year's Magic.

A fairy tale about the New Year for children: why there is strength in unity

The animals seemed to have resigned themselves to their position and did not expect anything good and interesting. But on the very New Year's Eve, they wanted to feel the festive magic. Everyone remembered how beautiful and wonderful it was last year to have fun together near the largest Christmas tree in the forest. For some reason, they decided that the New Year's magic was associated with this particular place and rushed there.
Very little time passed, and the whole forest company gathered near a large fluffy spruce. Seeing each other, they wanted to talk, ask about business, but remembered the quarrel. The animals suddenly felt very ashamed. How can you be so stubborn and proud? How can you keep so much resentment in yourself? They understood each other without words and hugged each other tightly. The world no longer seemed so dim, but without New Year's lights, songs and fun it was very sad.

“We were so stupid. After all, it was we ourselves who ruined our holiday. There is very little time left for the New Year, we will not have time to really prepare, ”the animals cried. At that moment it seemed that no one was able to change the situation.
"Stop babysitting!" - Suddenly there was a loud, hoarse voice. It was the Little Bear, who was awakened by the noise near a large spruce. “We have come together, and this is the main thing, because strength is in unity. Let's quickly decorate the tree with whatever we can, bring our own food and sing songs. The holiday may not be so beautiful, but we can still make it fun. Is not it?" He continued.
The animals agreed, smiled and ran home. This time around toys, candies, nuts and garlands. No one was sad anymore, everyone was in a hurry to be in time for the New Year.

What their surprise was when they returned and saw a beautiful decorated Christmas tree, New Year's lights, a snowman, multi-colored lights on other trees and a lot of sweets on the table, which appeared as suddenly as everything else. New Year's Magic came to the animals and gave them a real holiday that they deserved. After all, they understood the main thing! Remember the moral of this fairy tale about the New Year - do not accumulate your grievances, learn to forgive others and do not be afraid to take the first step. Only together with friends can you find happiness and meet magic.

Bedtime story about New Year

Once upon a time there was Santa Claus. He was tall, handsome and with a rich white beard. He lived in a beautiful little house with painted shutters, a high porch and patterned glass in lighted windows. Every winter, Santa Claus congratulated all the inhabitants of the Fairytale Forest Happy New Year. The inhabitants of the Fairytale Forest dressed up in carnival costumes, and it was impossible to understand who was a fox and who was a hare. Santa Claus congratulated everyone, and often visited the neighboring Azure Forest to wish local residents a Happy New Year.

One day a story happened. Early, early, a small titmouse flew to Santa Claus and told him that Baba Yaga was asking her to visit her.

- What does a venerable rogue want? - thought Santa Claus, but did not refuse the invitation.

- I'll come to dinner, - said Santa Claus.

But he did not manage to come to dinner, and he showed up at the house on chicken legs only in the evening. At the very house of Baba Yaga there was a stump. Santa Claus accidentally touched him with his staff, the stump swayed, dusted himself off and mumbled:

- On some such business?

- Baba Yaga herself called, - answered Santa Claus.

- Come in, - said the stump peacefully.

Baba Yaga treated Santa Claus with bagels, and then says:

- In the most distant, far-away forest, you, Frost Red Nose, have never been seen. And there were no fir trees there; there only oak-sorcerers grow. Get ready, take there a New Year tree and gifts for the inhabitants of the forest.

- And what am I going to use there? - asked Santa Claus. “My horses don't even know the way there.

“So be it, let's go together in my mortar,” said Baba Yaga.

- But it will be too small for the two of us, - said Santa Claus.

“Don't worry about that,” said Baba Yaga.

- What have you become so kind? - Ded Moroz doubted.

- So for what centuries you gave me a present today - you gave me a new broom and repaired the stove, otherwise I, the old one, began to freeze completely.

And they decided the next morning to fly to the Far-Far-Distance Forest. Santa Claus put on a warmer fur coat, took gifts and a New Year tree. And Baba Yaga found fur mittens, but she pulled on woolen socks, but did not take any gifts, because Baba Yozhki did not give any gifts, and she was waving a broom.

Baba Yaga knocked on her stupa with a broom, it immediately increased in size, Santa Claus and Baba Yaga sat in the stupa and flew away.

How long or short, but they flew to the Far-far-away forest. As the inhabitants of the forest saw Baba Yaga flying, they hid in all directions.

Santa Claus and Baba Yaga have landed, they have gathered to congratulate the inhabitants of the Far, Far-away Forest Happy New Year, but no one is there. They shouted, they strained themselves, no one was there. What to do? Whom to congratulate?

And with them in flight, the small titmouse tied up. When Santa Claus and Baba Yaga were getting ready for the journey, she slipped into the pocket of Santa Claus's fur coat, and sat there all the way.

When Santa Claus and Baba Yaga began to search for animals and birds, she got out of her pocket and said:

“Don’t worry, I’ll bring the animals and birds to you.

And she flew to look for the local titmouse. I found and told them that Santa Claus and Baba Yaga had arrived to wish everyone a Happy New Year and give gifts. And they brought something else.

It turned out to be a New Year tree, which was seen by the inhabitants of the Far, Far-away Forest, who came running to the Silver Glade. They were invited by numerous tits.

The inhabitants of the most distant, far-distant forest gasped as they looked at the beautiful Christmas tree with toys, lanterns and lights. Santa Claus presented everyone with gifts, and Baba Yaga told a New Year's tale. A small titmouse asked riddles.

And when the clock of Santa Claus struck twelve times, everyone shouted in unison:

- Happy New Year! Hooray!

And they danced in round dances. And then the little sparrow said that he was tired and wanted to sleep. Foxes, cubs, squirrels also wanted to sleep.

Well! Sleep is also a small holiday. A holiday of happy events, fabulous transformations. In a dream, children grow up. This is great!

Grow up and you, my friend. Gain strength and health. Santa Claus asked me to tell you that everything will be fine with you!

You will find stories about Little Santa Claus in a series of four beautiful books (which can be easily bought one at a time - the plots are independent and read in any order).

Everyone knows about Santa Claus. And everyone knows that he is not alone. But there is one that you have never heard of. He is very small, although he is already Santa Claus. And what is most offensive - he is forbidden to deliver gifts. Every year the same thing: no one takes him seriously. But there is still a way out!

This wonderful book will tell your child that there are pluses in any situation, and that being yourself is not so bad, even if you are not like everyone else.

If it seems to you that your knowledge of themed New Year's tales is limited to The Snow Queen and the story of Chuck and Gek, then you are wrong. It is worth familiarizing yourself with the list below, and memories from childhood will rush like a snowball. To the New Year's theme, I include not only stories about Santa Clauses, Snow Maidens and other characters that are heard by every kid. Fairy tales about the wonders that occur in winter, on the eve of one of the most beloved holidays, can also create an enchanting magical atmosphere. I will tell you about the imperishable children's classics and interesting novelties that can be a great gift for a Christmas tree.

1. Of course, it's worth starting with Russian folk tales. I still have a collection published in the late eighties, so it didn't work out with illustrations. Today on sale you can see a huge number of collections in which there are such fairy tales as "Frost", "Frost - Blue Nose", "By the pike's command", "Little fox sister and the gray wolf", as well as the works of P. Bazhov "Silver hoof ”, brothers Grimm“ Grandma Blizzard ”, S. Marshak“ Twelve months ”.

2 ... How without the fairy tales of Gianni Rodari! Chippolino and Gelsomino can wait, but in The Amazing Book of Tales and Poems you will find amazing stories that can only happen on New Year's Eve. Here you are about cats saving the holiday, and about trade shops with gifts that have magical properties. I recommend planning reading an hour earlier than usual, because the child will ask for more and more. By the way, it was in this book that I found New Year's poems that children will tell Santa Claus at matinees. There are a lot of them in the book! Gianni Rodari has several other New Year stories: "The Planet of the Christmas Trees", "The Journey of the Blue Arrow".

3 ... The writer Elena Rakitina became a discovery for me not so long ago. Unlike some newfangled authors, her syllable is so simple and easy to understand that children listen to fairy tales without stopping. "Adventures of New Year's toys", I think, will not be an exception. The reviews posted by users who often share my opinion say that the stories are easy to remember and captivating. The edition is intended for children of primary school age.

4 ... The book "Christmas of the Dwarfs", written by Hagen Veal, is so beautifully designed that I want to add it to the collection of children's literature. The story is about pranksters-gnomes who celebrate Christmas for a month, give each other unusual gifts and play pranks. A five to seven year old child should like the book.

5 ... I cannot fail to mention one of my favorite stories as a child, written by the Finnish writer Tove Jansson. In the Magic Winter edition, the author tells an amazing story about cute Moomin trolls. After dangerous adventures and amazing meetings, the protagonist and his girlfriend Mu held a grand celebration in the forest. The adventures of fairy-tale characters will definitely please your child!

6 ... Children's stories by G.Kh. Andersen have become classics for a long time, but it seems to me that some of them are too sad. For example, "Girl with Matches", "Story of the Year" and "Snowman", despite the New Year's theme, I would not read to preschoolers. Too tragic ending. But the fairy tale "Fir-tree" (I also saw the translation version "Fir-tree") is excellent and with a happy ending.

7 ... The merry adventures of Uncle Fyodor, Sharik and Matroskin appeal to both adults and children. In the collection "Winter in Prostokvashino" by E. Uspensky there is also a story about how the heroes celebrated the New Year.

8. The story of two boys, familiar to everyone from childhood, written by A. Gaidar, is still relevant today. "Chuk and Gek" is a great family fairy tale with instructive notes, which ends with a happy New Year's celebration.

9. Recently the book “Christmas Miracle. Stories of Russian Writers ", which contains the works of N. Leskov, F. Dostoevsky, A. Kuprin, A. Chekhov and other geniuses of Russian literature. This quality hardcover edition is a great gift for a child over 12 who loves to read. Here, there were both classic fairy tales with a merry ending and Christmas ones. An excellent purchase for a home collection.

10. And, of course, the stories of Charles Dickens, the ancestor of the Christmas and New Year books. These pieces are suitable for older children. Good and Evil are intertwined in amazing stories, they are filled with mystical characters. At the end of each story, an epic denouement awaits us, in which Good will definitely win.

Book market novelties

Among the expected novelties of children's literature, there are also many books dedicated to our favorite holiday. How are publishers ready to please us and our kids?

J. Kerr "Happy New Year, Miauli!" - a fairy tale for the little ones with a happy ending.

"New Year. A Terribly Confused Business "- stories for young detectives who want to get to the bottom of the truth and find out if Santa Claus really exists.

J. Yurie “New Year's Book of Rabbit Stories - lyrical and very touching stories about a family of rabbits, in which there are many, many bunnies. They take turns and become the heroes of stories.

A. Usachev "The ABC of Santa Claus", "New Year at the Zoo", "Santa Claus and Ded Morozovki" - a series of books about New Year's adventures and miracles.

"Father Frost's House" is an excellent gift for a two-year-old baby in the form of a postcard book with a 3D effect.

Reading books with kids or acquiring them for older children for independent reading, you not only set them up for the magic of New Year's Eve, but also expand their horizons, develop their intellect. Give children a real miracle!

There is very little left before the start of the long New Year's holidays, and you have work, preparation for the holidays, the choice of gifts, and there is absolutely no time to rest, and maybe there is not even that “New Year's mood” that everyone is talking about so much.

Do not be sad! We have selected short stories and stories of your favorite authors for you, which will improve your mood and will not take much time. Read on the run and enjoy the New Year and Christmas!

"Gifts of the Magi".

14 minutes

Readers know this story almost by heart, but still, year after year, they remember it on Christmas Eve. The story of two "stupid children" who sacrificed the most precious things for each other has inspired us for over a century. Her moral is this: no matter how poor you are, love makes you rich and happy.

"New Year's holiday for father and little daughter."

11 minutes

A very short and bright story about a man who spent the best years of his life on some kind of work unknown to the reader and did not notice how his daughter grew up.

In "New Year's Holiday ..." one can feel the cold and hopelessness that the author himself experienced in an unheated St. Petersburg room in the terrible year of 1922, but there is also that warmth that only close people can give. In the case of Green's hero, this is his daughter, Tavinia Drap, and in the case of the writer himself, his wife Nina Mironova.

"Angel".

25 minutes

Sasha is a thirteen-year-old teenager from a poor family, eccentric, embittered, accustomed to endure beatings and insults. On Christmas Eve, he is invited to a Christmas tree in a rich house, where the boy is surrounded by the clean and happy children of the owners. In addition to this, he sees his father's first love. The woman he still remembers.

But on Christmas, as we remember, miracles happen, and Sasha's heart, which until now was gripped by an iron vice, melts when looking at a toy angel. In an instant, his usual rudeness, hostility and callousness disappear.

"Christmas tree". Tove Jansson

15 minutes

A charming story about unknown to science, but so beloved by Moomin trolls. This time, Tove Jansson described how a family familiar to readers celebrated Christmas. Not knowing what it is and how it is celebrated, the Moomin family managed to arrange a real holiday with a Christmas tree and gifts for the whips (even more mysterious animals).

The story, of course, is for children, but adults on New Year's Eve will also be pleased to re-read it.

"Anniversary". Narine Abgaryan

20 minutes

A realistic story, devoid of even a hint of magic, nevertheless leads to the most joyful New Year's thoughts. "Jubilee" is a story of friendship, old and just acquired, a break with an unpleasant past and the hope of fulfilling all the promises made with the onset of the New Year.

"Not just for Christmas."

30 minutes

A fly in the ointment in our barrel of honey: a satirical tale of how Christmas suddenly became a daily intolerable torture. At the same time, the whole essence of the holiday, its religious and moral implications came to naught because of the love of people for "tinsel". A masterpiece by Heinrich Böll, Nobel Prize Laureate for Literature.

Both adults and children know that the blacksmith Vakula had to make a deal with the devil himself for the sake of Oksana's slivers. "The Night Before Christmas" is the brightest, funniest and most atmospheric thing in Gogol's cycle "Evenings on a Farm Near Dikanka", so do not consider it a work, take an hour and a half for the pleasure of spending time with your favorite characters.
