There is no child who does not like sand. In any form and form: in a backyard sandbox, on a sea beach, in a strictly forbidden heap next to a dug trench in the yard. In a word, sand and a child are like two magnets of opposite poles; they attract each other and merge into one. This is not to say that mothers are very much against or that they do not like sand, just shake the dunes out of sandals, pockets, clean out from behind and out of ears ... And, unfortunately, games on the street with sand are limited by seasonal frames. But there is a wonderful thing that reconciles mothers' addiction to cleanliness and order, children's love for sand and bad weather: this light table for drawing with sand.

What is sand painting on glass and everything you need to get started

One of the most accessible, and, at the same time, having unlimited opportunities for creativity and development of a little man, an occupation is painting with sand on glass... Plastic, movable material that does not dictate its own rigid rules (such as watercolor, felt-tip pen, plasticine, colored dough or any other kits for creative self-expression) allows the child to create without looking back: is there enough paper, is the paint run out, and not dirty whether a table or a T-shirt, whether the work has been spoiled. What a novice artist needs:

1. First of all, myself sand.

What is the best sand for sand paintings? - of course, perfectly clean, quartz, “grain of sand” (the optimal size of grains of sand is 0.2-0.3 mm).

2. Special silicone brush.

It will be useful for specific "sandy" special effects when creating paintings, and for thorough cleaning of the workplace.

3.. The table is sometimes called a "drawer for drawing on glass", or a "tablet", but no matter how the "sand easel" is called, no matter what dimensions it has (optimal - 50x50cm), the basic device is the same: matte, shock-resistant plexiglass is securely fixed in the box, equipped with illumination from below and side bumpers so that the working material does not wake up. By the way, the backlit screen can be useful for other purposes as well: for example, to copy pictures.

4. Colored sand.

Painting with colored sand will make the process even more exciting and vivid.

How to draw (sand painting techniques)

A stream of sand pouring out of a small cam onto a luminous screen, the play of light and shadow can create bizarre, magical pictures. To begin with, it is worth leaving the baby alone with his fantasies and such a pleasant, simply bewitching, sand flowing through his fingers. The main tool is small fingers and palms. The kid can draw anything and how he wants, even with ten fingers and two hands at the same time (which is very useful: symmetrical simultaneous movements of the right and left hand contribute to internal centering). As soon as the young artist "masters" the light table for drawing with sand, gets acquainted with the material, he can be offered options for games and tasks adapted to interests and age characteristics.

With the smallest ones it is good to play "snake" - draw a winding path with the edge of your palm, jump "like a bunny" with two fingers of both hands, run like a "spider" with all fingers at once.

Then you can complicate drawing with sand on glass by giving tasks:

Make lateral fist prints that look like small foot prints;

With wave-like movements of the palms laid flat, depict the sea;

Pressing your palm tightly with an edge to the screen, move the sand with your little finger - you get a correct, clear semicircle.

That is, the child must understand that it is possible to draw not only with the index fingers, but with any part of the palm in any position, leaving prints and drawing lines. The main thing is to stimulate the desire to find their own, non-standard solutions, and sand painting for children will become their favorite pastime.

Why is sand painting useful for children?

The prevailing opinion that Sand therapy- this is the latest development, not entirely true, or rather, not at all true. The healing, developing, psychotherapeutic properties of this natural material have been well known for a long time. Sand play as a diagnostic technique was first developed in 1929 by the famous English pediatrician Margaret Lowenfeld. Later, in the middle of the last century, the outstanding psychoanalyst K. Jung investigated the influence of playing with sand on social adaptation, development, and the emotional state of children and successfully practiced sand therapy. The Swiss child psychotherapist Dora Kalff continued the research of Jung and Lowenfeld and created new developments. Later T. Grabenko and T. Zinkevich-Evstigneeva formed a whole system of sand games.

Sand painting for children has a lot of positive points: it perfectly develops fine motor skills, spatial coordination, tactile perception, which is directly related to the development of logic, speech, thinking (that's why speech therapists and children's psychotherapists so often recommend painting with sand on glass). The plasticity, fluidity and flowability of sand makes it possible for multiple transformations and instant transformation of the picture into a completely different one, which turns the drawing process into something meditative.

Who really needs a light table for painting with sand:

  • Young lovers to play in the sandbox and draw, including on the walls. After a table for drawing with sand appears in the house, the wallpaper will become cleaner, and the psycho-emotional well-being of the young artist will significantly improve.
  • Family members whose professional activity is associated with hours of sitting in front of a computer monitor, nervous overload and stress.
  • Elderly family members: an hour of practice with sand normalizes the general condition, lowers blood pressure, and regular drawing of sand paintings has a beneficial effect on memory.
  • All creative people who love to create stunning paintings and post photos of their masterpieces on Instagram.

Series: drawing lessons for children.

Sand painting, as an unconventional direction of the Fine Arts, is unusually expressive and extremely popular all over the world. What are the mesmerizing sand show: when the artists perform almost magical metamorphoses with the help of beautiful music on glowing glass with the help of sand. Many people like this spectacular sight. And now it has become available to you at home!

How can a child (and maybe you) benefit from drawing with sand?

Like any other art activity, sand painting(including as well as communication with natural material) - develops tactile sensitivity and finger motor skills, spatial perception, thinking and attention, imagination and fantasy- all this together contributes to harmonious development of the child's personality... To this list we can add that when drawing with sand, the ability to adapt to changing conditions, research interest, and cognitive activity develops.

But that's not all!

You know about the direction sand psychotherapy and psychocorrection? This is a new (he is not more than 30 years old), but very relevant in our time, way to relieve psychological stress, avoid depression, fears and phobias, calm down, harmonize the inner world, cheer yourself up.

Sand Is a meditative material that grounds all negative emotions on itself. Within an hour of drawing with sand, all physical and emotional processes are stabilized.

This lesson especially recommended by specialists for hyperactive and over-excitable children, after all, it helps to better understand your feelings and the feelings of other people, to acquire the necessary social communication skills, to develop a positive attitude towards yourself and others.

Both children and adults who are fond of drawing in the sand are balanced, flexible, sociable and very creative people.

Take a look at this sand drawing video for kids:

What do you need to paint with sand at home?

1) Sand. The sand can be "dug up" even in the sandbox in the yard, sift it thoroughly, rinse it, and bake it in the oven (within 1-2 hours). Only after that, you can offer it to your child. It would be great to find large river, sea sand - different shades, particle sizes and structures.
2) Table - a tablet for drawing with sand (with lighting) can be done at home.

Mini-guide for making a table (tablet) for drawing with sand at home:

It is better if a man does it, but a woman can do it.

It will come in handy for us: a wooden box (strong, dense, or made independently from solid wood or good pieces of chipboard), a piece of plexiglass (smaller around the perimeter than the box, plexiglass does not break, therefore it is safest). It is good if the glass itself is matte, but even if it is transparent, it is not difficult to fix it by pasting it with a translucent colored or white film, or painting it with paint on the inside. Small wooden blocks are useful for the legs of the table. You also need a strong construction tape, or tape. Small carnations and a hammer. As a backlight, you can use a bright flashlight, a desk lamp, a small soffit, or just any lamp.

Step 1.

We select or make our own box. It should look something like the picture. The width and length of the future countertop is approximately 0.7 * 1m. Or at your discretion.

Step 2.

Make a rectangular hole inside the box(where the glass will then be inserted) for the tablet. The picture shows: how to make compartments from the side for scrap materials (for example, pebbles and transparent glass for mosaics - additions to the sand pattern).

The sides of the box at the future table will "look" upwards - they protect the sand from spilling onto the floor.

Step 3.

From polished(so that there are no splinters on the fingers during operation) we make the legs of the wooden bars for the table.

Step 4.

Glue a piece of plexiglass construction tape to the tree, straight into the hole which we did at step 2... Plexiglas is light - so it must hold. But if you do, as they say, for centuries - then the glass can be "sewn" to the table with wooden slats, with the help of small nails.

Step 5

Making the backlight- we put any light source under the table, or on its side - so that the light illuminates the tablet for drawing with sand from the inside.

Now you're done!

Let's start drawing!

The sand table is ready, nice music included(for example, the album "Mozart Effect" specially for "dreaming and painting" which you can download for free), the curtains are drawn(you need to create a slight darkness), candles lit. Use the secrets of aromatherapy: aromas of lavender, cedar, incense, mandarin, grapefruit, patchouli contribute to creativity and personality harmonization.

All is ready? The magic begins!

<Мы специально не будем писать сейчас о способах рисования песком, так как это все обязательно родится внутри Вас и Вашего ребенка, при соответствующем настрое.
In addition, in order to understand how this is done approximately, it is enough to watch the video presented above (and below - at the end of the article). Better to see once ..>

Ideas for drawing with sand with a child:

With the help of painting on the sand, you can not only draw static pictures, you can and should do whole sand animation, "Frame by frame" recreating fairy tales, instructive stories... Fairytale therapy to help you!

And to to bring up cognitive activity in a child: can "Travel" to different countries, telling about what kind of people (traditions), plants and animals live there.

Along with sand, you can use as a mosaic - pebbles - pebbles, translucent colored glass(ground, cut-safe). For example, as in the picture on the right. These details will help you diversify your sand painting practice.

Nice to the touch, clean and crumbly sand will allow you and your child to easily embody the most fantastic ideas on glass!

We also note several important rules for drawing with sand together with a child:

1) The child only needs to be offered options for games and tasks, and not to force him to follow a strict program.
2) The structure of the lesson should be adapted to the interests of the child himself.
3) Create a space for his self-expression, and do not set rigid frames and rules.
4) Appreciate his initiative and opinion, but not tacit agreement with you.
5) Stimulate the development of creative situations with questions, but not ready-made answers.
6) Support the child in finding his own non-standard solutions to the tasks you have set.
7) Appreciate the child's natural wisdom and uniqueness, but do not teach him to "be like everyone else."

Thus, created in these simple rules creative sand painting classes will help you cultivate real giftedness!

P.S .: Finally, we cannot fail to note what heights it can reach drawing in the sand.

Ksenia Simonova draws about the Second World War on the sand "You are always there":

“I would like this story to be heard in a new way,” says Ksenia Simonova. “Many children do not watch war films, for them it is boring and incomprehensible. Moreover, unfortunately, we are rewriting history, it is scary to read textbooks. I wanted the topic of war to become relevant again with the help of such a rather fashionable technique. "

This video can be fully shown to a child of primary school and school age, not only as a masterpiece of the art of sand painting and animation, but also as a memory of the war.

Light table - a translucent matte surface, behind which there is a light source, has been known for decades. Surgeons look at pictures on a vertical light surface, animators and comic artists on a light table translate images, edit films on a light table, photographers view negative and positive films.

The light table came in handy for sand animation - in both cases: when they shoot an animated film, and when the artist draws in front of the viewer "live".

First of all, I would like to note that all the exercises and drawing techniques discussed below can be carried out on any horizontal dark smooth surface (for example, on a regular polished table with light sand, fine salt or semolina - this will also be a powder technique.

1

Coarse yellow sand.

Fine sand with which I paint.

Fine sand of the color of baked milk, very light.

Fine table salt.

Semolina.

Sketch made on a polished table with sand, which I usually paint on my light table.

7

On the light table, the pattern is more contrasting and has more halftones.

If you do decide to have a light table at home, there are three options: 1) buy a ready-made one (there are many offers on the Internet); 2) build such a table yourself; 3) make it to order.

The technical characteristics of the device are also very diverse: from a simple glass placed on books with a lamp placed down (it is advisable to build sides along the edge of the glass) to a complex design with programmable LEDs, as in my travel light tables.

You can choose the middle ground and not complicate the task.

Wishes for a light table.

Aspect ratio 16 X 9 - This format is the most popular and used in television and projection technology. Most TVs today have a picture of just such proportions.

The sides on all sides should be at least 3 cm so that sand does not spill out. On the right and left (where the sand lies during work) - 5-7 cm is better. The side from the artist's side is not higher than 3 cm, so that its height does not interfere with drawing details in the foreground.

On the right and left - the space for sand is not wider than 15 cm. If the sand is scattered in a thin layer, it is inconvenient to pick it up in a handful, and this is an important point when drawing at speed.

The plane on which the sand lies should be flush with the plane on which the drawing process takes place. In many designs that are offered for sale, trays-recesses are made for the sand on the right and left - in this case, some drawing techniques are simply impossible to use (this will be discussed below).

For the surface on which you will paint, matte (milky) plastic with a thickness of 4-5 mm is best suited. The thinner one will bend heavily, the thicker one unnecessarily weighs down the overall weight of the table.

The structure must be stable. When the table is wobbling, then it is inconvenient to work and the picture on the screen jumps (if the image from the video camera above the table is displayed on the screen).

The backlight color can be any, depending on your taste and objectives.

What you need to know about sand.

Any sand can serve as a material. It must be sieved through a fine sieve, then, if necessary, rinsed. You can rinse the sand in a bucket. Pour one portion of the sand required for drawing (this is about 3-5 kg) into a bucket, pour water to the top. Hand (spoon, spatula) stir the sand intensively. Dust and dirt will dissolve in the water. Light particles will float up. Drain the water carefully. Repeat the procedure until the water becomes clear. You can dry sand on a baking sheet in the oven (if you need it urgently), just in a room, on a windowsill in the sun or on a heating battery in a wide container.

The sand from the hardware store is usually heavily contaminated and contains impurities. The sand from the beach is much cleaner. It has already been washed with river water. You can take quarry sand, from the desert, etc., or buy special colored sand in the store.

But each sand is unique in its own way and has its own special properties: the size of the grains of sand, their color and mass. These properties determine how the sand manifests itself in the painting process. For different tasks, you can take different types of sand.

The finer the sand, the more halftones you can achieve in your drawing. Darker sand is more contrasting. White sand (or fine salt) can be used to paint winter landscapes. Coarse sand - drawings with large details.

It is convenient to store stocks of sand in plastic bottles, and sand, which you constantly draw with (and carry with you), in bags made of dense fabric. If the sand always remains at home, there is no need to constantly pour it into bags and containers. It can lie on the working surface of the light table, but in this case it is advisable to protect it from dust - close it with a lid on top or cover it with a cloth.

Drawing at speed in front of the viewer and drawing for recording on video for editing (or just a long drawing) will be different. When painting at speed, an abundance of details and halftones, as well as the use of brushes and other objects (if possible) are excluded. But all the techniques discussed will help you work in any technique.

A little about the tools.

With a long drawing, you can draw only with your hands, or you can use brushes, sticks and other objects that you deem necessary. For small parts, you can use wooden sticks (toothpicks or bamboo skewers) - the wood will not scratch the plastic. I use different brushes and sticks when painting long-lasting halftone art. Also, when drawing, any objects that can give texture are used. We'll talk about this later. In performances in front of the audience, when painting at speed, for small details I use my nails (for example, when I paint glare in the eyes). The length of the nails should be no more than 2 mm.

To collect sand after painting, a wide brush is useful - sweep the sand out of the corners of the table.
Before you start drawing and pour the sifted sand onto the surface, you need to spray the surface of the light table (plastic) with an antistatic agent and wait a couple of minutes until it dries. This is necessary so that the sand moves freely over the surface, does not stick to it due to static stress. The procedure must be repeated periodically. The more you paint, the more often you will need to spray the surface. Perhaps every few days.

Techniques and exercises.

We pour sand from the cam.

We fill in the lines. The lower the hand, the finer and finer the line can be. Let's try different options (straight lines, zigzags, spirals, etc.) with different drawing speeds. We get narrow, wide lines, as well as transparent and opaque - it depends on the different thickness of the sand layer poured on the table. The higher the hand and the faster we draw the line, the more transparent and wider it is.

Depending on the properties of a particular sand, the lines lie in different ways - darker in the center or along the edge, etc.

Using only this technique, you can, for example, draw flowers.

To enrich such lines, you can place accents in the right places using thin lines drawn with the edge of the nail.

15

Filled lines can be corrected.

16

Exercise "Leaf".

We fill in the silhouette of a maple leaf and lines in the direction of the veins. Then we need to refine the edge of the sheet so that it is crisp and beautiful. To do this, draw with the tip of the finger or the side part of the first phalanx of any finger at the edge of the line so that part of the sand moves towards the drawing.

Draw thin lines along the pattern of the veins with the edge of the nail. At the tip of the petiole, we put a point with the tip of our finger. It turned out to be a beautiful leaf.

Sometimes you need to draw a thin, clear straight or winding line. To do this, draw along the line poured from the cam with two fingers folded "house".

In this case, the line turns out to be of the same thickness along the entire length. To get a slightly thicker line like this, you need to fold your fingers a little differently. But the principle remains the same: to get a line of the same thickness along the entire length, you need your fingers to rest against each other.

Exercise "Text".

Trying to write text.

21

Adjust the edges of the letters if necessary.

Exercise "Fried eggs".

We fix the technique - we draw fried eggs.

Due to the thickness of the layer, we get lighter and darker areas. At the final stage, draw highlights - we get volume and shine! The flare can be drawn with a fingernail. Dots and circles. On the lines already drawn, we put points with our finger.

If you not only touch the sand layer with your finger, but also circle it clockwise (or counterclockwise), you get circles.

24

The part of the sand that remains under the finger can be moved to the edge or form its own shadow from it, which gives volume.

Exercise "Sun".

Pour sand from a handful from a height of about 20 cm without moving your hand.

Grains of sand from the center will bounce off, forming a circle.

Sometimes it doesn't work out perfectly flat.

In this case, we can correct its edge from the inside with our finger.

The higher the hand is above the table, the larger the diameter of the circle will be.
Fall asleep the background. The background can be covered with different techniques - it all depends on the task.

1. From left to right from the edge, quickly move the sand over the surface of the table. Then - from right to left. ...

28

This can only be done if the sand field on your light table is flush with the plane of the plastic you are painting on. If the sand is in the tray, pour it on a flat edge and try this and the next three techniques.

2. We make the same movements, but in a spiral. We draw outer space - add planets and their trajectories with thin lines.

29

30

3. Draw mountains. From left to right (and / or vice versa), move the sand with a quick movement along the zigzag path.

If the amplitude of the zigzag is small, it turns out to be a desert with dunes.

Adjust the edge on top. Sometimes it is necessary not only to correct the edge, but to remove some of the sand so that it does not accumulate a lot along the contour. To do this, we carry out a movement with the plane of the finger, as if cutting off and pushing away the excess.

4. We fill the space in the sky with the same technique.

5. Spread a thin layer of sand on the field of the light table from a height of more than 40 cm.

Moving your hand quickly from left to right and right to left. In this case, the sand wakes up between the toes.

Different layer densities can be achieved. This technique is used when you need to pour a tone on an already made picture to go to the next, for example, to add details or to create an evenly filled background.

We draw on the covered background. There are endless options here; fingertip, fingernail, finger plane, palm edge, palm, fist, as well as objects: thin and thick brushes, business card, chopsticks. Let's start trying. Fall asleep the background with quick movements.

We draw lines, stripes in any direction with the plane of the palm, the edge of the palm, fingertips, edges of nails, fingertips, etc. We try to feel the sand to the touch - how pleasant this material is.

37

Try this with your eyes closed.

Exercise "Octopus".

Fall asleep the background. We draw the tentacles of the octopus, its head.

We draw eyes by the well-known "circles" technique, put dots on the tentacles - suckers.

39

Add bubbles near the head.

We draw water.

The first option is to draw wavy parallel lines with four (or even five) fingers.

The second option is to draw horizontal lines from the background to the foreground with the edges of the nails.

42

We draw clouds.

On an open field, sprinkle small areas with sand and draw clouds with a cam - with the right hand we make counterclockwise movements and move to the right, with the left hand clockwise and move to the left.

We draw small details on a clean background.

This technique is necessary when drawing a face (eyes, nose, lips), as well as small details of various objects. With two fingers, thumb and forefinger, practically touching the surface of the table, draw the desired element. For example, let's draw a seagull.

Lips.

We draw the texture with various objects.

Using different objects, you can get a different texture. Different brushes produce different line thicknesses and different prints.

48

Such a brush can be used to paint, for example, hair.

Instructions

Prepare all the necessary tools for the job. Choose a table with a glass top. Please note that the glass surface must be matte and the table height must be comfortable to work with.

Place lamps under the table to illuminate the picture. Pour volcanic sand on the glass. It has very fine grain, which allows you to draw even small details. If there is no special sand, then sift ordinary river sand well.

Place a tripod about 2m high next to the table, on which you fix the video camera and position the projector so that the viewer can see everything that is happening.

Create a plot for your story. It must have an opening, a main part with a climax and a denouement or ending. Pictures should be replaced fairly quickly in order to keep the viewer in suspense, and so that the latter does not lose interest in what is happening.

Think over each frame separately. There should be no abrupt transitions between them, i.e. do not sweep away all the sand every time and do not start painting over again. Pictures should flow smoothly into each other.

Use unusual bright and effective images - the viewer should not easily predict the next frame.

Master the technology of drawing individual elements with sand. The background can be either light, i.e. without sand, and dark - when everything is covered with bulk material. To draw on a light background, put some sand in your hand and, releasing it in a thin stream from a clamped fist, draw the boundaries of the images.

Draw small details in the same way, for example, parts of the face. The technology for drawing with sand on a dark background is slightly different. Erase the sand in those places where the necessary details of the drawing will be placed. Be very careful as it is necessary to define the borders of the elements on the first try.

To draw large round details, clean the surface with circular motions of your finger, to draw individual lines, drag your little finger along the sand, to draw many points, use the fingertips of both hands at the same time. Be sure to respect the scale.

Drawing with sand, or in another way it is also called sand animation, is becoming a very popular pastime. Both adults and children like it. And this is not at all surprising, because there are great advantages to this.

Instructions

Firstly, to start painting with sand, you do not need a lot of costs, as for any other activity. All you need is clean sifted sand, a lamp, and glass. If there is no sand, you can use any other free-flowing substances, for example, semolina. By the way, this lesson is suitable even for very young children. It will very well help them develop motor skills.

Plastic develops very well from this lesson. After all, you need to do everything carefully and with a light hand. Another plus is that you can correct the details in the drawing at any time. And you don't need any eraser for this. In addition, one work surface is enough for you not for one time, but for a long time.

I got the idea to make such a box of sand for drawing in kindergarten.

Option 1.

Ready-made boxes are on sale. You can see

Environmentally friendly wooden box, plexiglass on top, energy-saving light on the bottom. For creative activities in drawing with sand on glass, it is also suitable for easy copying of drawings by tracing a contour.
New, improved model with sand compartment.
Drawer dimensions: 50 x 50 x 14 cm, light screen 48 x 36 cm, cord length 180 cm
.

As you know, children play with pleasure in the sand, because such games are saturated with different emotions: delight, surprise, excitement, joy ... This makes it possible to use games with sand for development, enrichment of the emotional experience of the child, for the prevention and correction of his mental states , for the development of fine motor skills.

Option 2

Information taken

To make a box, you will need:
1. Boards
2. Plywood
3. Acrylic plexiglass
4. Decks made of wood

Initially, take the boards and plywood, and build such a box, which is shown in the figure. It should be deep (7-10 cm) so that the sand does not spill out, but at the same time you can easily draw.

Next, step back from two edges, the same number of centimeters and nail the planks. You now have a place to store the required attributes. Here you can store cereals, pebbles that you may need for your child to develop. The next step is to make a cut at the bottom of the box - this is necessary in order to insert plexiglass in the future - a place for lighting with a lamp. The size can be made at will, for example, the paper size is A3 - A2.

To make the light table stable, you need to use solid wood decks as legs. You can also paint them as you wish, for example, in blue and red - it's more fun.

Now you need to put acrylic plexiglass in the slot on the bottom of the box. It is necessary to make it matte, for this, put an A1 sheet on the glass and fix it with tape or electrical tape around all edges.

If you did everything correctly, then you should have a table, as shown in the photo below. Nothing complicated, but the springboard for creativity is almost ready.

Now put a lamp under the table, turn it on and that's it. You've created your own light table for painting with sand!

Now you can start your creative pursuits. It remains only to buy sand in a building materials store or take it directly from the sandbox, sift it through a sieve, rinse it and bake it in the oven. You can also advise you to create on the light table not only with sand, but also with various cereals (semolina, for example). And to make the drawing original, you can use colored stones.

It is not necessary to have an art education in order to create sand paintings.
Children especially like to paint with sand. The pliability of the sand, its natural magic attracts children from the first minutes.

Drawing with sand is an immersion in a fairy tale, in a world of fantasy, bizarre images, winding lines. Touching the sand, you will feel its warmth, its fluidity, its movement.

Sand painting is a great way to relax. Immersion in a pleasant flowing state of calm creativity, contact with natural matter relieves stress, any tension, fears.

Creating a painting with sand is a fascinating process, it affects all areas of the senses, awakens creativity, relaxes and inspires at the same time. The soft coloring of natural shades, the contrast of sand and light, the smoothness of the contours and the powderiness of the lines create Magic.

As a rule, cleaned sand is used, which is applied in thin layers to illuminated glass. You can paint anything with sand: landscapes and portraits, still lifes and abstractions. The main thing is to give free rein to your imagination and not be afraid to experiment.

Sand drawing methods:

1. The first step is to invite children to embody their ideas in the sand in the ways that they like best. And only after that, you can give specific tasks;
2. Sand can be smoothed with both palms and fingers;
3. Hands can work like a bulldozer, shoveling sand around;
4. With your fingers you can make holes in the sand or draw on it;
5. Children relax very well by passing sand between their toes;
6. At first, children can use the index finger, it is more convenient and more familiar;
7. For the image of the sun, you can suggest using a cam;
8. For the image of the wave in the figure, you can use a hand;
9. In subsequent lessons, you can master a new way of drawing with sand, by cutting off the excess.

All actions are performed with the fingers, however, stacks and brushes can be used as devices.
The technique helps to develop fine motor skills, which is especially beneficial for children (because the brain develops through stimulation of the fingers)

This lesson is especially recommended by specialists for hyperactive and over-excitable children, because it helps to better understand their feelings and the feelings of others, get the necessary social communication skills, and develop a positive attitude towards themselves and those around them.

When drawing with sand, a person, whether a child or an adult, uses both fingers and hands. Drawing develops a subtle tactile perception, requires analysis and flexibility of thinking, develops imagination and unleashes creativity. This activity will appeal to absolutely everyone, both young and old.

It is very interesting and exciting !!!

Option 3 - watch the video

And to show the children's ability to draw with sand, watch the video: "How to create such masterpieces using a light table for drawing with sand":
