Rules of conduct in the theater for children

If you want our visit to the theater with a child to be useful and interesting, always use the basic rules of conduct for performances with children.

Put on a clean suit or dress, look neat. If you wish, you can take an elegant dress, because a beautiful and festive one is always appropriate in the theater.

In the cold season, be sure to change into sandals or shoes. This will make you feel much more comfortable and comfortable.

Ask an adult to comb your hair neatly in the washroom, which also has mirrors. Do not do this in the foyer of the theater, get used to being cultured and educated people right away.

Before the performance, look at the program, there you will see pictures, photographs of the artists. Soon you will begin to recognize them at the next performances. This will make it even more interesting for you.

Never eat food in the auditorium. Eat in advance at home, and you can have a snack during intermission in the buffet, after taking sandwiches or fruits with you. Then there will be no need to stand in line, rush to eat, fearing to be late. Get used to immediately being a spectator with a high culture and understand where you can eat and where not.

Do not shout or stamp your feet during the performance, you may interfere with the actors. Do not get up from your seat so as not to disturb other spectators.

Do not run in the hall so as not to scare away the fairy tale. After all, you came to see the magic, so you need to be quiet.

And most importantly, clap your hands heartily if you like the fairy tale. Better at the end of the show, so as not to disturb anyone.

By the way, in the theater, the sacrament was sacred in the past, and the lights were gradually extinguished, plunging the auditorium into darkness, leaving only the stage brightly lit. Now everything is much faster, the lights go out immediately, so children are often frightened. When we were in the theater, our Emir immediately shouted "dark", and other children, too, got worried and made a noise. So for us it was the first negative moment.

In addition, during the performance, the Emir tried to get up and go home. I had to persuade him and wait, because Vitya watched with delight, without taking his eyes off the stage. Emir and I could not leave, leaving Vitya alone in the hall. Therefore, I concluded that children under three years old have nothing to do in the theater, they are bored there.

And the children are older, they take everything seriously, sincerely help some of the heroes of the fairy tale to do good deeds and drive away the evil characters of the fairy tale. It turns out that they practically begin to distinguish between good and evil in life. Therefore, it is more convenient to talk with the kids about the theater at home in order to prepare them in advance. Each mother needs to be able to present knowledge to children about the theater so as not to discourage the hunt, but to introduce the child to art unobtrusively.

Tips for Parents

1. Buy tickets to places where your little one will be able to see and hear the performance. It is not necessary for him to additionally tire, straining his hearing or sight. You should not take places next to sound amplifiers so as not to irritate your ears. Otherwise, the child may be capricious and ask to go home.

2. Always sit next to the child, worry with him, support, this is so important for the baby.

3. Try to choose a familiar performance with positive reviews. After all, children are often shown meaningless performances, with poor acting. So why form a bad aesthetic taste from an early age?

4. It will be wonderful if you and the children read a story about the play in advance, or just tell him a short summary. After all, young children do not always understand the actors' play and quickly lose interest in what is happening on stage if something is incomprehensible and unfamiliar to them.

5. After the show, do not run to the dressing room to get dressed faster. There are not so many spectators in the theater, so you will have time. You have a few minutes to show the children the foyer where the wardrobe and toilet are located, and to pay attention to the curtains and chandeliers in the theater. Do not think that your child will not be interested in it. Until you show it, you will not know it.

One important point, often in such places where children congregate, they sell cheap fakes of glowing toys. Almost all of them are disposable. So try to take children away from such places, although they are drawn there like a magnet.

Our boys ran in the foyer, they liked the sofas and chic chandeliers, but the sounds from the corner with these toys came to them constantly. It was a great difficulty for me to distract them and take them into the hall. But after the performance, when we left the hall together, I just let go of my hands for a minute to take the clothes in the wardrobe, the trace of my tomboys disappeared.

So I had to go around with clothes and a package in my hands to look for them, until I guessed to go to the familiar sounds. Well, of course, they were already there and played. There was a crowd of adults with children around, so no one took the toys from my grandchildren in the hope that they would buy them.

At home we already have several similar toys, but this is a separate story, so I will not write about it. But I'll tell you about where we went after the show next time, and why the children quickly agreed to leave these toys, you will also find out.

6. Try to discuss with the child the performance you saw, ask what he didn’t like and why, in order to take into account the nuances for the future.

7. You can introduce kids to the buffet after three visits to the theater, not earlier. This is not a cafe to pay attention to food there, but a temple of art. So let them feel this sensation. But it will not hurt to take a bottle of water with you. In any case, the child will quench his thirst, calm down and will not bother anyone.

8. If the children are not feeling well or are tired, there is no point in going to the theater with them. Nothing good will come of it. Remember that theater is an emotional strong stress, so think about whether your child can handle it.

It is better to have a good rest on the day of visiting the theater, sleep well and take your time to go to the performance.

Therefore, never be in a hurry or be late. Now, before a children's play, they often come up with entertaining performances based on children's books to stir up the children, cheer them up, prepare them for watching the main fairy tale.

Our grandchildren liked the little entertainment before the theater performance the most. They jumped and danced, guessing riddles. I was surprised, but Emir was the first to shout about Aibolit, whom he knows almost everything by heart. How he actively communicated with the animation actors, greeting each of them. These are all the basic rules of behavior in the theater for children.

Theatrical rules are best described in the children's poem by S.Ya. Marshak:

In the theater for children

To the people! To the people!

Wherever you look, -

On every aisle

There is a wave of guys.

Put them on chairs

And they ask you not to make noise

But the noise is like in a beehive

Where the bear climbed.

From a long well -

Invisible to the eyes -

The flute will laugh

Then the contrabass will bark.

But suddenly the lamps went out

Silence fell

And ahead of the ramp

The wall parted.

And the children saw

Clouds over the sea

Stretched networks

Fisherman's hut.

The fish spoke

On the seashore.

Everyone knew this tale -

About the golden fish, -

But it was quiet in the hall

As if it's empty.

He woke up, clapped,

When the fire was lit

Knock their feet on the floor

Palm on palm.

And the curtain flutters

And the lights are shaking -

Applauds so loudly

Half a thousand guys.

They don't feel sorry for their palms ...

But now the house is empty

And only the dressing room

It is still boiling with a boiler.

The living wave is rustling,

Runs all over Moscow,

Where is the wind and trams

And the sun is blue.

The most famous theatrical professions

In childhood, many dreamed of a stage, an artist's career, called theater professions as future work. Not everyone made their dreams come true, most of them received a more mundane education. And only a few became the stars of the stage or persons close to the theatrical stage. Among the servants of Melpomene are actors, directors, set designers, make-up artists, costume designers, decorators, and props. Typically male professions in the theater are lighting, stage clerk, editor, conductor.

Brief description of the activities of representatives of theatrical professions

There is no need to talk about what theater actors do. This is participation in performances, performances in front of the audience. The actor is like the tip of the theatrical iceberg. In the same place, in the visibility zone of the audience, there are the director, the artistic director of the theater, the conductor and the orchestra. The work of the remaining 80% of employees is not in sight. But it is they who provide the opportunity to receive spectators in the theater building, performances of artists on stage. This is how stage workers assemble and fix complex structures, scenes, decorations, elements of sound and lighting systems. Decorators, scenographers and artists develop and implement ideas for setting up productions. Most people cannot tell what a merchandiser does, but in fact everyone knows what stage make-up artists, costume designers, lighting fixers, and props are doing.

Production designer is one of the most creative professions in theater

The set designer connects many theatrical professions with his activities. Working directly with the director, he embodies his idea, selects the forms and means of conveying the idea of the production. The scenographer conveys the author's intention to the set designers, illuminators. He also collaborates with actors, suggesting non-standard solutions to the characters and characters of the play. New horizons are opening up for talented directors for the implementation of ideas, such as setting up scenes for concerts, staging new series, clips, television programs, political TV shows.

From 18 to 22 January in our kindergarten in preparatory groups the thematic a week" The magical world of theater". Children love not only holidays, but also fairy tales which they can stage on their own, and it brings them untold pleasure.

I have developed a work plan on this topic for the entire week. Theater week started with very entertaining conversations: "A conversation about the emergence theater and its development"," How to behave in theater"," What professions do people work with in theater". The guys also learned what types are theaters:puppet theatre, finger theatre, desktop and shadow theaters... Played role-playing games with them and theatrical staging fairy tales with the aim of developing creative independence, fostering love for theater.

Productive activity was manufacturing theatrical masks... This activity contained certain tasks: education of feelings of beauty, acquaintance with the types of masks, instilling love for theater, as well as develop fine motor skills of hands, arouse interest in creative activity, develop the ability to fantasize and highlight the characteristics of the character when making masks. We made a mask of the popular fairytale hero of the hare from the fairy tale "The Fox and the Hare" and the mask of the frog from the fairy tale "The Frog the Traveler"

To do this, we used pre-prepared templates of all the parts that we needed to make our masks.

And of course, a simple pencil, glue, colored paper, white paper, and scissors. The guys really liked this lesson, they diligently circled everything, cut out and glued

These are such funny frogs we got

And now meet our funny bunnies)

The masks of our fairy-tale characters are ready. Can I schedule some theatrical a competition between two teams, which will be called the "Frog" team and the "Hare" team)
