We will learn how to knit the main climbing knots: "grapevine", "bowline", "guide", "guide figure eight", "grasping", "autoblock", "hare ears", "bramskotovy", "UIAA", we will find out what these nodes and put them into practice. We will get acquainted with basic climbing techniques such as rock climbing on natural terrain, partner belay, ascent and descent on a rope. In the process of classes we will break for lunch, and in the late afternoon we will set up our camp - not far from the quarries on a high river bank. In the evening, dinner, mulled wine, guitar and campfire gatherings.

Second day:we get up, prepare breakfast and continue our classes. A place in the group is booked only after receiving an advance payment. You can choose a convenient way to make an advance payment after sending an application for participation.

Features of the course:

1. Mountaineering techniques are quite complex, require regular practice, and without practice are quickly forgotten. That is why all of our participants receive a memo (printed or in electronic form), which sets out in detail all the material we have covered.

2. It will be interesting to take part in this course not only for beginners, but also for “continuing” ones. While beginners will learn how to “jumble” and “rappel”, more experienced participants will be able to familiarize themselves with topics such as “rope extension”, “assisted ascent”, “tandem counterweight descent”, “approach to the victim on a loaded rope "," Descent of the victim with escort "," transition from ascent to descent "," passing the knot ", as well as ask the instructor all your questions.

3. There are many interpretations of the above techniques. Someone in the old fashioned way rappels on a figure eight without a grasping knot or ties it above the descender, someone uses a "daisy chain" as a self-belay and uses uncertified equipment, someone cannot imagine many techniques without a huge amount of auxiliary equipment (ropes , rollers, pedals, etc.) But we have found a "common denominator" and give the material in accordance with the standard of the UIAA (International Union of Mountaineering Associations) commission - a generally accepted standard for teaching mountaineering now in Russia.

    We have already become true friends with the club. Phil and Sasha will always give you advice and help.
    Our gang of "stoned tourists" has already gathered around the club, and I am glad that City are the guys who are the point of communication and mentors.
    This is the third time on the courses and you will be happy to meet those who have been with you before.
    With each course, you go through new exercises that first blow your head up, and only then you find the logic of actions.
    Special thanks to the guys for the delicious diet and especially Mulled wine)))).
    And Kostya for the anthem of the courses "do you know" :))
    City Escape, we have become real friends and I am glad that every day this is only confirmed))).
    See you in the mountains, forests and swamps.

    P.s .: forever your Icelandic Frenchman monsieur Poozik 😝😀😀😀

    I am going to Belukha, but in winter I could not attend the courses. Salute to Zevs for knocking out my flashes and delaying the onset of spring. Upon arrival at the place, we were awaited by installed tents, hanging ropes, boiling water, cookies and sandwiches. The mentors divided us into groups. And I went to Konstantin to review the theme of the ligament, crampons (climbing) and ice axes. Then he waved his pupils with Alexandra, and I went off to repeat the theme of ascending and descending along moderately steep terrain using a rope, metal devices and a uiaa knot. And then, under the guidance of Konstantin, he felt what it was like to climb a vertical dirty wall on one zhumar. In the evening, cooks Leonid and Sergei prepared a meaty dinner. And there was also mulled wine, and such that you can set it on fire (checked and filmed). To the accompaniment of mulled wine, the mentor Konstantin and the new member Dima arranged a concert of songs, but there is no film on this topic, since the camera and the people do not have the same lighting requirements. The morning of the next day was devoted to eating breakfast and the topics of transporting those who stumbled under the direction of Constantine and the rope crossing under the direction of Philip. Konstantin demonstrated well and gave practice to various technologies of how to bungle a stretcher. It is not easy to memorize this (especially so as to remember it on difficult terrain and bad weather conditions). And it seemed to me that I understood how important it is not to stumble, but more on that later, my dear reader. After that, everyone passed the canopy crossing. Since this was my second experience, I undertook to pass it with a shortage of equipment (without a wheel rolling on a rope). Passed, but it was difficult. Then he chimed on his own. And then the smell of lunch came. For lunch, the chefs prepared a rich chicken soup. They put it on a plate. There is a straight chicken leg floating. There were two ways to my seat - through a puddle and across the ice. I chose the second one. And brutally fucked up. I almost found myself stumbling and spilled the soup.
    Yes, unless he forgets with his heart. The one who wants us well, the one who will always feed us, Our dear cooks - I got an additive ash with two legs.
    The course is being improved from time to time. Current topics also need repetition. You can also find new topics. But what needs to be done for sure is a hot banquet upon arrival. And then oh, how spoiled I am in Kenozero.

    27-28.01.2018 I have been with the City Escape club not so long ago. But this is my second rope course. And then, as they say, you have to get a taste, taste. Understand, feel all the moments. The first time it was an acquaintance. Now this is a sequel, and I liked it even more. The very atmosphere in the hike is calm, relaxed, and at the same time you feel at ease. Undoubtedly, the main component of this is the work of the club, the organizers of this event. It should be noted that the club provides all the necessary equipment. The course material is accessible and clear, the whole theory is applied in practice. If something is not clear, you can always ask, repeat. Not a single participant will be left without attention. And of course a delicious dinner by the fire with the participants, a fun crazy company (guys, hello everyone!))) And hot, aromatic mulled wine. Thanks to the organizers, instructors and all the participants! It was fun and interesting, I plan to visit the rope course again)

    Good day to all.
    On January 27-28, 2018, we were with friends on a rope course organized by professionals in their field. Competent instructors and just good people from City Escape made it possible for us to spend this weekend with an unforgettable experience. It is the second time with their friends. I tried it once and could not help but go again. We had a very wonderful and interesting time with good people and, as mentioned above, professionals in their field. It is important that the food was delicious.
    I highly recommend it to everyone who is tired of office work. The most wonderful way to unwind and get a lot of positive.
    I myself have already signed up for the next course, which I advise you too))

    The mountains do not let go, but in the Moscow region there are excellent places for training and just a spiritual pastime. Last weekend we climbed excellently in the quarries in Polushkino.
    Great company, bonfire, guitar and a lot of interesting things. They remembered the knots, organized a rope crossing, assembled stations, rescued comrades on the wall and escaped themselves on a snowy slope, climbed the rock with ice tools. Very cool, both as a workout and active entertainment for those who have not yet fallen in love with the mountains .. It's always cool with you!

    Many thanks to the organizers, everything is just at the highest level! And, of course, special thanks to the instructors for easy-to-understand explanations, patience and answers to all your questions. I will definitely take part in other activities and hikes of the club in the future. And I recommend to you;)

    Hello everyone!
    I want to express my deep gratitude to the organizers and instructors! Everything was great! After you realize at home that it was something you look forward to the next time!
    To all participants, too, a huge THANK YOU for a wonderful weekend!
    Hope see you soon !!!

    Just perfect! I tried mountaineering for the first time. I realized for myself that I want to get out to such courses at least several times a year. Because this is just a great tourist club with an excellent organization, experienced instructors, great company, good physical activity, and a very, very interesting pastime. Earlier I didn't think about mountaineering, but now I want to move a little further, work out what I learned)

    I have never been in the mountains and have no climbing skills. The January and March courses put into the head and hands the ability to knit basic and necessary knots, insure a partner, independently descend with a self-belay, climb the rope on a zhumar, go around the knots on the rope without changing the direction of movement)).
    Either Philippe with Sasha and Denis are excellent instructors, or I am diligent, but invaluable knowledge and skills have been acquired.
    And disruptions are also a dangerous business! I felt the bones crack when the cats instinctively hacked, not with an ice pick.

    Awesome weekend! An incredibly positive and interesting company that made you forget about wet feet, otherwise rain, mud squishing in your boots ... It was not only fun, but also useful, for which special thanks to the instructors. Sasha, Philip, Denis - an organization at the highest level, both in everyday life and in training. They will show, tell, repeat five, and if necessary, twenty times. Very easy to understand and professional. Learning was easy and fun. I will definitely come to consolidate and further develop my skills. Thanks!

    I just have no words how cool it was, fun, productive, warm, cozy, dirty, informative, funny, tasty, chilly, technical, in short, just like at home))) deep bow to the instructors !!! ??? For your patience, perseverance, cold-bloodedness and kindness ... (Denis's words: "And now the khan" will be forever imprinted in my memory ???) and these gatherings by the fire ... It's better to see once than hear 100 times. Concentration of smart, funny and interesting people on such a small piece of land. And I am very glad that I was lucky enough to be among them. cosmic gratitude to all of you !!!?

    Hello and prosperity to everyone who has looked at the Club's website and is interested in acquiring or developing mountaineering skills. Three days ago, I was an absolute teapot. Today, as I understand it, I have ideas and the minimum necessary skills. I got to the Club school for two reasons. First, I decided to climb Elbrus in 2017. Secondly, he was looking for someone to climb with, under whose guidance. The Internet is rich in offers. But he immediately dismissed the "barkers-intermediaries". He analyzed the "company-teams" that go to the mountains on their own and drag the suffering with them. The site "Cityescape" liked: a very rich line of proposals, designed for different ages, hobbies, temporary opportunities of people; detailed reports, wonderfully illustrated and, what appeared to be important, - detailed, competently described programs of the proposed travels. According to the style of the reviews, it was felt that they were not ordered. In general, the site attracted me, inclined me. Then I took the opportunity to ask a question and get advice. Received an answer promptly, on the case, detailed. I took a chance, signed up for a mountaineering school, which took place on March 4-5. Wonderful and rewarding two days. The expectations were confirmed. Instructors - Philip, Alexandra, Denis. From the very first training sessions, it was obvious that safety and the desire to teach are the basis of training for them. Open, friendly, extremely attentive, meticulous. Simple, clear explanation; where necessary - a personal demonstration, as they say, on yourself. Their professionalism and teaching qualities are captivating. They are not casual people in their business. Can trust.

    Thanks for the rope course!
    In addition to the obtained useful and easily assimilated information, I managed to memorize knots knitting, self-belay devices, the sequence of fastening the iron into the rope according to the circumstances.
    I am proud of the results achieved in acquaintance with mountaineering;)
    In March, I'm going to the advanced group!

    Thank you guys! We went well and had a great time, got a lot of useful information, which I tried in practice. Great venue. ?

    I tried it for the first time - before I knew about mountaineering only from films and videos on the Internet. I thought I wouldn't hook - but no, I did! Within two days, a lot of useful information, communication with nice people and positive. The work of the instructors Philip, Alexandra and Konstantin is excellent. There was always an answer to any question, if something did not work, they always helped, corrected. And sitting around the fire with a guitar is great! I would like to wish the guys further success in their difficult task, and also to thank all the participants of this trip! Good luck to everyone and see you on new routes !!

    The first time I visited the "School of Mountaineering" was in August, having no climbing experience, it was very interesting! The second time in October, positive impressions and emotions overwhelm again, but I especially want to note the well-structured structure of the course, in which both beginners and those who already have some experience will definitely find something new and useful. It takes a lot of practice to develop climbing skills and this is a great opportunity to get it on natural terrain. Thanks to instructors Philip, Alexandra and Konstantin for new knowledge and excellent organization of the classes, I don't know how you did it (there were a lot of us!), But you were ALWAYS there ready to help with deeds and advice! The safety level is very high, in the first lesson I had a certain lack of confidence in working at altitude (due to the lack of such experience), but it quickly passed and was replaced by confidence in the instructors, guys and myself. Thanks to the "School" for the new friends who were lucky enough to meet there, any rock can be done with you!))))

    Full delight!
    From the organization of the event, from the leaders-instructors, from the whole team, scenic quarries and wonderful weather!
    Two days is like a vacation!
    Amazingly warm atmosphere.
    Not a shadow of a doubt about the reliability of the insurance.
    A lot of new things about climbing!
    Evening, bonfire, guitar ...
    It's just a holiday!
    Unforgettably!
    Philip, Alexandra, Konstantin THANK YOU VERY MUCH for these wonderful two days!
    And of course a BIG THANKS TO ALL participants of this wonderful holiday! ???????????

    Sometimes it is worth getting out of the city for at least a couple of days to do some outdoor activities. Rope course and rock climbing are the perfect idea for such a holiday. It was an interesting sunny weekend in a great location and with good company. I learned a lot of new things, realized the accumulated energy, and got charged with positive.
    As for the work of the instructors, I had no doubts about the professionalism and reliability of the City Escape team after climbing Elbrus with them (by the way, successful for the whole group), so on this trip I did not worry about the reliability of the equipment and the attentiveness of the instructors during the classes.

Continuing professional education program for professional development

One of the most popular types of high-altitude work is industrial mountaineering. At the same time, this technology belongs to the category of especially dangerous, which is why it is used only if it is impossible to use safer methods and equipment.

According to the standards established in industrial mountaineering, the rope access system is especially often used when working in vertical (more than 70 ° to the horizon) and inclined (more than 30 ° to the horizon) planes, as well as when working in a support-free space in a suspended state.

NOCHU DPO "MOSDOR" offers to obtain professional knowledge and skills in this area of activity. We conduct training and retraining courses for specialists in the profession of industrial mountaineering. Training in our center allows in a short time to master a special technology for performing high-rise work or improve in it.

Industrial mountaineering allows you to perform a wide range of activities for the construction, installation, maintenance of building facades, equipment, as well as internal and external structures of various objects. The main types of work include:

  • cleaning the facade and windows;
  • snow works on the roofs of high-rise buildings;
  • outdoor insulation;
  • sealing of interpanel seams;
  • maintenance and repair of fences;
  • installation / dismantling of hard-to-reach parts of structures, etc.

The services of industrial climbers are especially relevant in cases where, for economic and technical reasons, it is impossible or impractical to install platform devices. For the high-quality performance of his duties, a specialist does not need scaffolding, cradles, lifting and supporting mechanisms. The main element of the equipment of an industrial climber is special mountaineering equipment and means developed for industrial mountaineering that are used to perform work at height.

Industrial mountaineering using rope access systems differs from other types of high-altitude work by a lot of advantages:

  • saving time and finances;
  • minimum risk of damage to the facade finish;
  • the ability to implement work in hard-to-reach places;
  • efficiency of work performance;
  • the possibility of carrying out works at very high heights, where platform devices cannot be used.

Education at MOSDOR

The professional activity of an industrial climber requires special training. Workers cannot be admitted to high-altitude work within the framework of industrial mountaineering without a document confirming their qualifications and knowledge of safety standards, as well as admission from the medical board.

If you are interested in industrial mountaineering, high-quality training in Moscow can be obtained at the MOSDOR continuing education center. The program is developed in accordance with international industry standards and includes comprehensive training with the practical application of the knowledge gained.

We offer training for industrial climbers of the 5th and 6th grade.

According to the established standards, a worker with a 5th grade is allowed to work on high-rise structures, radio and TV towers, supports, bridges, chimneys, gas ducts, tunnel arches and other objects. The duties of a specialist include:

  • conducting inspections, checks of the state of high-rise structures;
  • surface treatment with anti-corrosion coating;
  • repair of facades and painting works;
  • restoration work;
  • washing windows;
  • replacement of drainpipes;
  • work on mountain slopes;
  • assembly / disassembly of launching equipment;
  • And other types of work.

During training in our center, students receive the following knowledge:

  • about the peculiarities of work at height, structural elements and technological process;
  • on paperwork;
  • on the organization of rescue operations and first aid;
  • on the rules for the use of specialized equipment;
  • on the rules for connecting ropes, ropes and cables;
  • equipment and safety requirements;
  • on the design and principle of operation of lifting devices;
  • on the standards for the performance of electric and gas welding works, plasma cutting and measures for interaction with helicopter crews;
  • about signals of interaction between employees and the procedure for their application;
  • on the methods of organizing the lifting and lowering of objects at a height (people, loads);
  • And other actions when performing work at height.

Industrial climbers of the 6th category must be able to work with electronic-digital complexes, radio range finders, magnetometers, gyrotheodolites, laser reflectors and devices with sources of radioactive radiation.

Students of the course are obliged to familiarize themselves with the labor protection requirements when working at height, using rope access systems.

In addition, in the profession "Industrial mountaineering" training includes practical training at a specially equipped training ground. The training ground is an 11-meter U-shaped structure made of metal coated with panels. The polygon is surrounded by a spiral flight staircase, and the instructor can be next to the student at any height.

After graduating from our training center, you can always find a job! Come to see for yourself!
