The shortlist of performers was compiled on the basis of the performers' popularity rating in Odnoklassniki, according to the Rosregistr portal. According to Dni.ru, the preliminary top 60 has already included such popular groups as Mushrooms, Time and Glass, IOWA, as well as Polina Gagarina, Ani Lorak, Irina Dubtsova, Mot and many others.

Some of the users expressed hope to see TV presenter Olga Buzova on the stage of the New Year's light, and someone - the notorious heroine of the show “Let them talk” Diana Shurygina.

Channel One creatively approached the preparation of the New Year and, in cooperation with the Odnoklassniki social network, launched a new Application "Your stars on the First". This application can be found in the official group of Channel One on OK. Users are offered a list of stars, potential participants in the New Year's light.

The experiment was originally an idea of ​​the channel's general director, Konstantin Ernst, which he shared at the beginning of this year, answering questions from viewers about the dominance of “the same faces” on the screens on Odnoklassniki’s live air.

The short list is based on the music popularity rating in Odnoklassniki (OK); the top 60 includes singers and bands whose tracks are most often listened to by users.

Among them there are regular participants in the New Year's air (Polina Gagarina, Irina Dubtsova and Ani Lorak) and names that never appeared there ("Mushrooms", "Time and Glass", Jah Khalib and Mot, IOWA).

The leaders of the vote will be those for whom they will vote by a large margin, but it is not yet clear with what margin which artist will win, says the representative of "Perviy". According to him, until now, the channel has not used online voting to select participants on the air.

The general director of Channel One Konstantin Ernst suggested choosing artists for the New Year's concert based on the results of OK users' voting. The winner of the popular vote was Grigory Leps, who already regularly performs at New Year's concerts. The top ten were Ani Lorak, Nargiz, Polina Gagarina, Artik pres.Asti, Leningrad, Alekseev, Hands Up, Svetlana Loboda and Alla Pugacheva (listed in descending order).
