SIMFEROPOL, 5 August - RIA Novosti, Maxim Groznov. The German band Scooter flew to Crimea for the first time and performed in front of thousands of people at the #ZBFest festival in Balaklava.

The musicians presented a spectacular multimedia show on the stage of the festival, performed all their famous hits and promised the Crimeans "to see each other next time."

Doubled the scale

The #ZBFest festival has been held in the vineyards of the Zolotaya Balka agricultural company for the second year in a row, and this time on a doubled scale. Last year, the one-day festival gathered, according to the estimates of the organizers, 15 thousand spectators. This time the festival program stretched over two days, and the organizers expected up to 30 thousand visitors on the first day. A one-day entrance ticket cost from 1 to 3.5 thousand rubles. A free transfer from Sevastopol was organized to the site of the festival, and at 21.00 the spectators continued to arrive at the site.

The Scooter group became the headliner of the first day of the festival; Sergey Galanin and the group "SerGa" and Garik Sukachev with "Brigade S" performed with them on Friday in Balaklava.

Technical problems

"Brigade C" at the end of their performance faced technical difficulties - in the middle of the song "Give me water" the sound disappeared on the stage. The musicians did not interrupt the performance and sang to the end with the support of the audience.

The next song also began without a sound - the audience sang "Granny smokes a pipe" in chorus with the band members. In the middle of the song, the sound was restored. The musicians finished their performance and left the stage to the applause of the audience.

Hits and fireworks

Finally, closer to midnight, Scooter started performing. The stage was illuminated by spotlights, an image of lightning appeared on the screen, and the lead singer of H.P. Baxter stepped onto the stage to the fireworks and shouts and applause of the audience. The band kicked off with the traditional Ten Seconds Before Sunrise, after which the vocalist greeted the audience.

"Good evening, Balaklava! Are you ready? (Good evening, Balakalava! Are you ready?)" - H.P. Baxter addressed the audience. They reacted with shouts, whistles and applause. "Thanks!" Baxter replied in Russian.

In an hour and a half the group performed all the hits well known in Russia - Bora! Bora! Bora !, Weekend !, Mary Got No Lamb, How Much Is The Fish? and Habanera.

On the screen behind the stage, the band's performance was accompanied by a multimedia show. The climax was followed by fireworks. This enthralled the audience who sang with the band, danced and shot photos and videos. In between songs, Baxter thanked the audience in Russian, and the audience answered him with shouts and applause.

Promised to come back

After the end of the performance, the musicians left the stage, but the audience immediately began calling them for an encore. Finally, the band came back, HP Baxter took the guitar and they performed one of their most famous songs - Fire. The musicians finished with another dance hit of theirs - Move Your Ass.

"Thank you Crimea! See you next time," Baxter shouted at the end, accompanied by volleys of fireworks and a standing ovation from the audience. He introduced the band members and the musicians left the stage.

The festival in Balaklava will continue on Saturday, Dima Bilan, the group "Degrees", L "ONE and" Leningrad "will perform in front of the Crimeans.

TALLINN, Jun 16 - Sputnik. The musicians of the German group Scooter could face up to eight years in prison for performing at a music festival in Balaklava (Sevastopol), German tabloid Bild reported.

As the Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yevhen Yenin explained to the publication, according to the country's legislation, "foreigners can visit the temporarily occupied territories only with special permission and must enter and exit from points in the mainland of Ukraine." In turn, the Scooter manager confirmed to Bild that the musicians will fly to Crimea by plane via Moscow, RIA Novosti reports.

"Violation of the law is punishable by imprisonment for a term of one to eight years, depending on the circumstances," Yenin said. According to him, now "investigations are underway against several foreigners who illegally entered the Crimean peninsula."

The situation is complicated by the fact that the musicians planned to perform in Kiev this year.

If Scooter arrives in Crimea, they will violate another Ukrainian law - "On Concert Activities", according to which only Ukrainian companies can act as intermediaries in organizing concerts in Crimea. The Scooter concert is organized by a Russian company, notes Bild.

Scooter's performance at the Balaklava Festival is scheduled for August 4th. At the same time, Bild notes that the country is not indicated on the group's website opposite the date of the performance in Balaklava, while the date of the performance, the name of the festival, the place and the state are displayed next to other concerts.

"We did it on purpose. We do not want to stir up discussions on this matter and want to keep a neutral position," Group manager Jens Tele explained the situation.

He stressed that the group wants to stay away from political conflicts and travels to Crimea to please their fans.

The second open-air music festival in Balaklava will take place on 4-5 August in honor of International Champagne Day. In addition to the performances of the musicians, guests will find "Crimean cuisine accompanied by their favorite sparkling wines, as well as entertaining thematic spaces," according to the event's website.

Among the performers who will come to Sevastopol, in addition to Scooter, are the groups "Leningrad" (Sergei Shnurov), "Serga" (Sergei Galanin), "Brigada S" (Garik Sukachev), Dima Bilan.

Artists, athletes and journalists suffer

We will remind, earlier Ukraine has repeatedly refused entry to Russian artists who visited Crimea. So, in April, Kiev did not let the Russian artist Elena Vorobei, keeping her at the airport for several hours without water.

Concerts in Crimea were also the reason why the border service of Ukraine did not let the singer Kristina Si, rapper L "One, singer Shura into the territory of the country.

The apotheosis of this policy was the ban on entry into the country of the Russian participant of the international song contest "Eurovision" Yulia Samoilova.

Russian athletes and journalists also fell under the restrictions of Kiev. On June 14, it became known that the Russian boxer Georgy Kushitashvili, press attaché of the Russian Boxing Federation Vlad Romanov, who were heading to Kharkov for the European Championship, Vlad Romanov, two journalists and several fans who were traveling as part of the delegation, were not allowed into Ukraine.

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine announced that it had banned nine representatives of the Russian Boxing Federation from entering Ukraine for a period of three years because of visiting Crimea without the consent of Kiev.

Crimea became a Russian region after the March 2014 referendum, in which the overwhelming majority of residents voted in favor. The referendum was held after the coup d'état in Ukraine in February 2014.

Ukraine still considers Crimea to be its "temporarily occupied" territory. Russia rejects all accusations against itself, recalling that the entry of Crimea and Sevastopol into the Russian Federation happened legitimately and at the will of the people of these territories. The UN Charter and international law were not violated. According to Russian President Vladimir Putin, the issue of Crimea is "finally closed."

With the "C Brigade". The Scooter set, which began closer to midnight, lasted about an hour and a half. The group performed all of their must-have hits, accompanied by a spectacular multimedia show.

Before the band members appeared on the stage, spotlights lit up, and an image of lightning appeared on the imposing screen. After that, Scooter frontman H.P.Baxter took the stage to the fireworks and a welcome ovation from the guests of the festival. The concert opened with the traditional "Ten Seconds Before Sunrise" - the band starts every concert with it for many years now.

“Good evening, Balaklava! Are you ready? (Good evening, Balakalava! Are you ready?) "- Hp Baxter greeted the audience after performing the opening song. The crowd answered him with enthusiastic shouts and whistles. "Thanks!" Baxter replied in slightly broken Russian.

The one and a half hour set list contains all the hits that Scooter fans love - “Bora! Bora! Bora! "," Weekend! "," Mary Got No Lamb "," How Much Is the Fish? " and Habanera.

At the climax of the show, fireworks were fired on the stage to delight the audience. The audience actively sang along to H.P. Baxter, danced and shot memorable photos and videos. In between the songs, the frontman addressed the #ZBFest guests with words of gratitude - again, in Russian. The audience answered him with enthusiastic applause and exclamations.

After playing the main part of the program, the musicians left the #ZBFest stage, but the audience immediately began to demand an encore from them. Finally, the Scooter members appeared on stage again, HP Baxter took the guitar, after which the band performed one of their most famous compositions - "Fire". In parting the band played another equally popular piece - "Move Your Ass".

“Thank you Crimea! See you next time! (See you next time!) "- Baxter shouted in the finale to the final volleys of fireworks and a standing ovation from the audience. He introduced the band members, after which the musicians left the stage - this time completely.

The group performed at #ZBFest despite the "threats" from Kiev. In June, the German edition Bild reported about attacks against Scooter in connection with the planned performance in Crimea. As the newspaper noted, German politicians and Ukrainian media criticized the musicians for their decision to "give a concert in the occupied territory."

Also yesterday it became known that all Scooter participants were blacklisted by the infamous Ukrainian site "Peacemaker". The reason for their inclusion in the database was a visit to the Crimea.

“All four German offenders have been identified and entered into purgatory,” a message posted on the portal’s Facebook page says.

Today there was information that the Scooter group, according to the laws of Ukraine, faces up to eight years in prison.

Tatiana Tikhonchik, press secretary of the Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, which is located in Kiev, told about this, reports "Crimea.Realii".

According to her statement, the members of the team were included in the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations at the request of the Deputy of the Rada Dmitry Belotserkovts.

Tikhonchik explained that the Scooter group violated the requirements of Ukrainian legislation.

As the press secretary emphasized, the musicians are charged with Art. 332-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation by foreigners of the procedure for entering and leaving the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine).

According to the representative of the department, he will send requests to the competent authorities of Germany for the provision of international legal assistance in order to interrogate the group members.

The situation is aggravated by the fact that a concert in Kiev is scheduled for October 15 at Scooter. Scooter vocalist HP Baxter and band manager Jens Tele expressed their bewilderment about this situation.

“We are going to Crimea not to engage in politics, but because our fans live there. We have something to show them, ”said the musician.

“We didn't even know that we were getting involved in a political conflict. Our music is completely apolitical, and we want to stay away from political issues, - said the band's manager Jens Tele. “We have been traveling to Ukraine and Russia since 1995, we have a lot of fans there who are looking forward to Scooter.”

Scooter is one of the most famous German bands, the band was formed in 1993. Scooter's creativity is characterized by a diverse palette of electronic music genres: compositions in the style of happy hardcore, techno and disco interspersed with electro, drum and bass and trance. The last disc of the group called "Ace" was released in 2016.

#ZBFest was established by the Zolotaya Balka company in honor of the International Champagne Day. The festival will be held in Crimea for the second time, last year its audience was about 15 thousand people. This time the festival is two days, the organizers expect about 40 thousand visitors.
