"The mind of a child is at your fingertips"

V. A. Sukhomlinsky

The finger theater is very fond of children of our group, especially girls. It is no secret that, in addition to the aesthetic pleasure, playing with finger puppet theater develops the child's imagination, curiosity, communication skills, interest in creativity, contributes to the development of speech, memory, attention, thinking, perseverance, broadening of horizons, helps to cope with shyness and much more. ...

In this regard, at one of the parents' meetings, we decided to replenish our theater with characters made by ourselves.

Parents did their best and sewed the fairy tale "Teremok"

It turned out to be not so difficult.

Some parents "took the hook" for the first time. And it turned out pretty good, in our opinion.

One family presented the magpie-raven nursery rhyme made of felt.

We made some animals ourselves with the children from plasticine.

Thanks to the finger theater, the child has the opportunity to fantasize, invent his own fairy tales, stories. Many thanks to the parents for their active participation in the life of the kindergarten.

A younger kid will be able to draw a face, and an older child will be able to complete the whole process completely independently, under the guidance of an adult.

For this we need:

White and / or colored paper;

Scissors;

PVA glue;

Ruler;

Plain and colored pencils, markers.

First you need to paper draw squares.

My 6-year-old children and I made a square of 6 * 6cm and 8 * 8cm.

Then we boldly cut them out.

After that, we make cups using the origami technique according to the scheme (see photo)

Now the process is getting creative. On the cups, you can draw faces and faces of various heroes of fairy tales or cartoons, or you can print "Faces" the necessary characters on the printer, cut out and glue on cups with "facial" sides.

Do-it-yourself Kolobok theater

Kolobok is one of the most beloved fairy tales of kids. So why not organize a finger theater Kolobok with your child? Moreover, this is not difficult at all to do. All you need to make a do-it-yourself tabletop theater kolobok is to download templates, print them and assemble the figures. After that, it will be possible to arrange a real show.

Table theater Kolobok is presented in several versions so that you can choose the one that you like best. You can download any of them. Some options include decorations for the Kolobok puppet theater, which will add realism to the performance.

First of all, you should remember the fairy tale. Puppet theater Kolobok scenario may be similar:

So, let's start our small overview. The first version of the paper theater Kolobok includes not only the heroes of the fairy tale, but also the scenery - a meadow, a background, trees. To put the heroes, you need to glue special strips to them, which also come in the kit. You will get a real puppet theater on the Kolobok table. To download pictures - click on the image to open it in full extension and save it to your computer.

The next version of the Kolobok puppet theater, which is easily done with your own hands, is a performance in which a child can see the actions in the hut and in the forest. To do this, the scenery is glued together with an angle, and during the performance, the presenter turns it with the right side to the viewer. It should look like this.

You can download shape templates here

The third option is pictures for the Kolobok theater, which are a constructor. They need to be saved, printed, cut and glued according to the scheme.

The next finger theater The paper gingerbread man is assembled according to a certain scheme.

The Fifth Finger Theater based on the fairy tale Kolobok is an illustration from the Murzilka magazine, familiar to all parents. You just need to download the pictures, print them, cut and assemble them according to the diagram.

The next home puppet theater Kolobok includes three-dimensional characters. The preschooler himself is unlikely to be able to cope with all the preparatory stages, so he will need the help of his parents. The result will be a real table-top theater Kolobok, pictures for which can be downloaded for free.

And finally, we present to your attention the last option. This is the shadow theater Kolobok, which has become quite popular recently. But for him it is necessary to build a screen, which can be a white wall or a sheet, and the right lighting. Pictures for the puppet theater Kolobok need to be printed and cut out. Sticks must be glued to the figures, after which you can arrange a real performance. Such a finger theater Kolobok, which the kid can do with his own hands, will certainly interest him.

The flat finger theater made of paper "Teremok", from our point of view, is not very suitable for children under 5 years old. But 5-6 year old children will be happy to play with him. The principle of movement of the dolls is very simple - the index and middle fingers are inserted into the holes-slots. These are the "legs" of the doll. Now she can "walk". Of course, children of this age know the tale "Teremok" by heart. But here we are going to "play the theater." And almost all the guys want to be an artist. But, although the tale is familiar, such games will develop the speech of children - after all, for each character you need to speak in a certain voice, try to convey his character. The bunny speaks timidly, the chanterelle slyly, the mouse squeaks, and the bear growls menacingly. Convey all these shades with a voice is an interesting and difficult task for younger preschoolers. In addition, children can actively participate in the creation of puppets and decorations for the finger theater from Teremok paper.

Flat finger theater made of paper "Teremok"

In order to make puppets for our finger-type paper theater, you need to print (or draw) the heroes of the fairy tale of teremok on plain paper. The height of the dolls should be about 9-10 cm, and the width at the bottom of the figure should be less than 4.5 cm - so that you can freely cut through the holes for the fingers.
Patterns of dolls for a flat finger theater made of paper "Teremok"

We glue the template onto very thick paper or thin cardboard. We allow to lie down under the load (2-3 thick books) for 10-15 minutes. We paint the animals with colored pencils of suitable colors.
Cut out the figure, cut holes for the fingers.
If you wish, you can paint the back of the doll. Keep in mind that it will be more difficult for a kid to paint an already cut figure. The doll is ready.

You can immediately print colored figures or make them for the applique technique (as in the photo below).

Decorations for the finger theater from paper "Teremok"

To play out a fairy tale with such dolls, we need a decoration - a little house. It is not difficult to make it.
Step 1
Take a sheet of brown (not glossy!) Cardboard. Draw it as shown in the diagram.

Step 2
Cut through the windows.

Step 3
Cut out strips of red paper 1 cm wide for the windows and 2-3 cm for the roof. Decorate the windows and roof slopes with stripes, or carved edges.

Step 4
Cut out log circles with a diameter of about 2 cm from yellow paper. Stick them on the terem.

Step 5
Cut the grass out of green paper and glue it on the bottom.

Step 6
Finish the details with a felt-tip pen and cut off the excess cardboard above the roof.

Step 7
Fold the accordion out of another piece of cardboard. The first link of the "accordion" is 2 cm, the second and third - 5 cm. Fold the remaining piece of cardboard in half again (that is, the fourth and fifth links will be about 3-4 cm each)
The narrowest part of the "accordion" is glued to the bottom of the tower.

To make the tower stable we glue the side parts of the second link of the "accordion" to the tower. A kind of pocket is formed into which we will "populate" the animals.

The photo shows how our house will look from behind.

The teremok is ready, you can start the show.
Finger theater "Teremok" can be done in other ways, for example. Or . No decorations are needed for these models. In addition, you can play with them with very young children 2-3 years old.

Finger puppet theater is an exciting educational activity for kids. It perfectly expands the imagination, strengthens fine motor skills. The heroes of such a theater, that is, toys, can be self-made, sewn or tied, cut out of paper or wood. Making a finger theater with your own hands is quite simple. Let's consider all the ways.

Let's see how to mold toys from the famous "Turnip" fairy tale.

We will need:

  • modeling paste. JOVI is very good, which becomes solid in the open air. It dries quickly and does not need to be burned. The paste can be coated with paint or varnish;
  • JOVI Patcolor green and yellow pastes;
  • brushes;
  • acrylic paints;
  • stacks (special sticks with tips);
  • felt-tip pens.

It is necessary to take a paste with a volume of one third the size of a matchbox. Let's start with grandfather. We sculpt the cylinder, form the head, outline the body. In general, the end result should be a matryoshka-shaped figure. At the base of the matryoshka, you need to make a hole for the finger. To the finished body, you need to attach handles molded from the same paste.

Remember to constantly wet your fingers with water, as the paste dries quickly in the air. Small details - mustache, beard, nose, eyes - it is better not to sculpt, but to cut out in a stack.

All the characters of the fairy tale are made in the same way, the rest of the toys - from the grandmother to the mouse. Don't forget to make a hole in the base of the toy for your finger!

We make a turnip as follows: we sculpt a sphere of yellow paste, and with the help of a stack we cut out the tops from a sheet of green paste. We fix the "vegetation" to the root crop, fix it tightly.

When the heroes of "Turnip" have dried up, paint the toys with acrylics using brushes. You can also entrust this work to the child himself. The plasticine puppet theater is ready!

Paper finger theater

Making a do-it-yourself finger theater out of paper is even easier. We will need:

  • multi-colored and plain paper;
  • glue;
  • paints;
  • brushes;
  • scissors.

Making toys that fit on your finger out of paper is as easy as shelling pears. You can find schematic templates on the Internet, print them on a color printer, cut and glue them. You can simply cut out the paper "fingertip" of the desired character, paint it yourself and also glue it.

If you or your child are strong in origami, then the scope for imagination is simply unlimited. The only negative is that such dolls are very fragile and short-lived. On the other hand, every day you can put on a new play with new characters. That is, it is a theater where the most ambitious productions and introductions of new heroes are possible with the relative simplicity of implementation.

Sewn finger theater

Toys made from dense fabric are as durable as those made from paste. Such finger puppets can be made of wool, felt, leatherette, felt. In addition to the fabric itself, we will need, of course, threads, a needle and elements for embroidering the toy's face: beads, sequins, etc.

How to sew dolls? First of all, decide - can you make patterns of a cat, chanterelle, doggie on your own, or is it better to use ready-made ones? There are a great many of them on the net. Further - a simple job. We transfer the pattern to the fabric, cut out two parts of the doll, sew them with a regular seam over the edge.

However, if you know how to work on a sewing machine with small shapes, then this is even better - the edges of the doll will turn out to be more accurate. When the silhouette is ready - do not forget that the base cannot be sewn, with the help of it the toys will be put on the finger - we embroider with a floss seam or we make eyes and a nose with beads. The toys are ready. It remains to put them on your fingers and put on a show.

Another option: tie. But for this you need to know how to knit, and pretty good.
