Maria, tell us a little about your child's father.

- This is a wonderful, very good man, a man whom I love. (After a pause, smiling) This is my husband Alexander. We got married last year in Moscow. Quietly, without advertising anything. Alexander has nothing to do with television. We met three years ago in Cyprus. Alexander came up to me on the beach and asked some kind of banal question like: "Isn't the water cold?" It turns out that Sasha and I had a holiday romance ... Soon he proposed to me. But “yes” I didn’t tell him right away, but only a year later. Probably, I was struggling with my inner fears and complexes, because my first marriage was far from unambiguous ... When we met, Sasha did not know that I was working on television. Who I am, Sasha was told by his sister. And you say - a popular TV presenter! (Laughs.)

Maria, you are going on maternity leave. Will you be sad without ether?

- I'm already starting to be a little sad! Believe me, I cannot live without those guys with whom I have been working side by side on the Rossiya TV channel for the past eight years. We understand each other perfectly. Even in the little things. The guys know how to more accurately formulate a thought for me in a sentence, which words to use and which not. You know, I haven't run Vesti for several weeks, but at exactly 19.50, that is, ten minutes before my usual evening airing, I am still seized by a pleasant inner tension: the biological clock works. A state of extreme concentration sets in. Like a feline before a jump: the last seconds, squeeze into a spring, calculate your flight in order to reach the goal ...

PZ: "I am treated without pills"

It can be seen that television is already in your blood. Although you never dreamed of being a TV presenter, right?

- Absolutely. It all happened by accident. I was a first-year student at the Faculty of Chemistry and Biology of the Penza Pedagogical University. One fine day, the guys from our student club, a kind of KVN, invited me to star in their humorous program. To shoot some kind of anecdotal sideshow, they needed a tall girl - with long hair, high heels, and a short skirt. When I was asked: "Mash, come on help!" - I immediately snapped: “Me? In front of the camera? Never in my life! And don't try to recruit me on your television. I have completely different plans. "

In that story for the transfer, I still starred. And then she began to look into the television studio. So, out of curiosity. I had no idea of going to work on television. Or, for example, become a model. Although in Penza I graduated from the school of fashion models and even sent my portfolio to the capital. Rather by inertia, for the company with friends. And a year later, from Moscow, from Slava Zaitsev, a positive answer came: you are suitable for us, we will take you. But I just laughed. It all seemed too frivolous to me.

What plans did you have?

Best of the day

- I dreamed of only one thing - to do science: grow crystals, work with dolphins ... At the suggestion of my mother, I entered the medical lyceum, where I studied Latin, chemistry, biology, anatomy, and underwent an internship at the hospital. My biggest dream was to become an orthopedic surgeon. I even worked for a year and a half in the orthopedic department - put on drains ... You know, the desire to heal lives in me to this day. The book I look at the most today is a medical encyclopedia. I am flying myself without pills, for some time I try not to drink them at all, I started jumping rope for an hour without stopping, diving with my daughter Dasha into cold springs ...

Do you regret not becoming a medic?

- I never regret anything. All the will of God. And I will definitely become a doctor in my next life! You see, you can heal not only with a scalpel, but also with a word. I have no doubt that all our sores are from our words, actions and even thoughts. When a few seconds before going live the command is heard in the studio: “Hat! Motor! Go!" - I feel a colossal responsibility: what will I say to my viewers now, how will I convey information to them? I try to speak simply and clearly. And always to spare human feelings, because life leaves a lot of scars.

"Television lured me in"

But how did you get on TV after all?

- The moment came when I needed a job. I began to conduct in Penza a half-hour program like "Morning Mail" - "Musical Souvenir". People wrote letters of application, especially often asked to show Nadezhda Kadysheva ... And then I was invited to the news service, first as an intern, then as a reporter, and later I became a presenter. To be honest, little by little television lured me. But even at that time, I did not think that this would become my profession. Therefore, she submitted documents to the All-Russian Correspondence Financial and Economic Institute. I thought I would become a banker, I would have a lot of money, I would have something to feed my family. I didn't become a banker, but I got a specialty.

And then you were invited to Moscow, to the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company?

- Yes, in the summer of 2001. I remember how I walked around the studio and was surprised at everything. I felt how my world, in which I lived in Penza, was crumbling. That I am becoming a part of a completely different, larger world. That I should become a different person, with a different responsibility, with a different attitude. I suddenly realized how little I know, that I cannot distinguish Iraq from Iran, I don't know where the Cayman Islands and the La Perouse Strait are. I thought: how can I cope with all this? But since then, from my first broadcast on VGTRK, which took place on September 17, 2001, I began the countdown of my professional career. I was assigned a dorm room. I flooded her with newspapers, magazines. I read all the articles, cut out notes! She studied why the Venezuelan revolution is called a pan revolution, what is the difference between Shiites and Sunnis, why in the Middle East everything is endlessly divided and cannot in any way be divided. I learned by heart the names of politicians. Of course, I knew something, but now I needed a completely different level.

Maria, you are now an experienced TV presenter. Is there something you don't like about yourself?

- Of course. I constantly analyze everything, any of my broadcasts. After all, this is a live broadcast! I'm often told that I'm too dry on television. Like, this dryness eats up my youth, extinguishes my inner fire. But on the other hand, the Vesti format does not in any way presuppose excessive emotions. You know, for example, because of this it was not easy for me to agree to participate in the project of the channel "Russia" "Dancing with the Stars"! But I overcame my stiffness. Dancing taught me more freedom. In general, I always try to fight my fears. As a child, I almost drowned in the Volga. For a long time then I could not even come close, let alone the river, even the pool. But at some point she decided that she had to end this fear, and took up diving on the initiative of her daughter.

Does your daughter Dasha still live in Penza with your parents?

- Yes, with my parents. Now, while Dasha is still in school, she is really better in Penza. My daughter is 11 years old, and like any teenager, every day is scheduled every minute - tutors in foreign languages, physics, mathematics, a swimming pool, a dance school, playing the guitar and piano ... In Moscow, with my employment, all this, of course, would be difficult to implement. But then we call each other a thousand times a day, on any little thing, we communicate via the Internet. Not to mention the fact that every week free from Vesti, I always leave for Penza. But next year I am going to move my daughter to my place, to Moscow: Dasha will have to prepare for entering the university.

Then Sittel decided that she would no longer experiment.

Despite her full employment, Maria did not take her work seriously and did not even think about the fact that one day she would become the face of one of the most popular TV channels. But fate all the time pushed her to this profession.

Maria was invited to work at Penza State TV and Radio Company

So, thanks to her efforts, Maria was invited to work at the Penza State TV and Radio Company. The girl could not even dream of such a thing. Personal life

Maria met her first spouse (photo of her husband and children attached) as a student. Their romance developed quite rapidly. After a few months, the couple decided to legalize their relationship. Soon the newlyweds had a daughter, Dasha. During the marriage, it was already bursting at the seams. It was rumored that the first spouse was cheating on his young wife. Therefore, soon after the birth of their daughter, the couple divorced.

Sittel does not communicate with the first spouse

Sittel left her daughter to be raised by her parents, and she herself went to Moscow to build a career as a TV presenter. Who is Masha's first husband is still unknown. The TV presenter prefers not to answer questions about him. Journalists do not even know the name of this man. The only thing the TV presenter spoke about publicly was that this separation was very painful for her. However, the failure in the relationship did not break Maria, but, on the contrary, made her stronger.

Sittel does not communicate with the first spouse. Their common daughter Daria also has no desire to see her biological father.

Sittel left her daughter to be raised by her parents, and left for Moscow.

The second spouse was Alexander Tereshchenko, a Russian businessman. Their acquaintance took place at a resort on the island of Cyprus. The couple spent all the time together, and no one even thought about continuing the relationship. However, fate decreed otherwise.

After returning to Moscow, both realized that they were in love with each other. Alexander took the first step and invited her to marry him. But the girl did not give consent for a long time, because until now she remembered the disappointment that accompanied her after parting with her first spouse.

After a year of reflection, Masha gave a positive answer. In 2009, Alexander and Maria became legal spouses, and a year later their son Ivan was born. In 2012, the public learned that Sittel was pregnant with her second child. Maria gave birth to a boy who was given an unusual name - Sevva. A year later, she again informed everyone that she was pregnant. And again the son, who was named Nikolai.

Maria Sittel is a presenter on the Russia-1 channel, where she goes on the air with the Vesti news program. She was awarded the TEFFI prize in 2005 as the best presenter of a news program.

which she values very much. Then a successful job, where she, a girl from the provinces, managed to achieve high results. They love and know her, they are proud of her.

Childhood

Maria Sittel was born on November 9, 1975 in provincial Penza. Her parents were fairly wealthy people. Father Eduard Sittel, an accomplished businessman, mother Larisa Sittel is a housewife. The German blood of the father and the Jewish mother flows in the veins of Mary. When Masha was ten years old, her sister Anya was born, who also became famous as a presenter, only in her hometown.

Maria was constantly dreaming about something. At first, the girl wanted to learn to be an investigator, then she decided that she would turn out to be a good pathologist, and only after growing up, she decided that her vocation was an orthopedic surgeon. Maria was sent to a regular school. The class was overcrowded, 45 students studied in it, and many of them were from dysfunctional families, had already managed to break the law and get registered with the police. The girl's mother did not like this state of affairs, it was she who insisted on transferring her daughter to the medical academy, where biology, chemistry and Latin were among the main subjects.

Maria already saw herself as a student at the Samara Medical Institute, but her mother intervened in her fate here too. The woman simply did not want her daughter to leave home so far. The girl listened to her mother's words and after receiving a school certificate went to the pedagogical university of her native Penza. She chose the Faculty of Chemistry and Biology. After the first course, Maria nevertheless made an attempt to become a doctor, and rushed to Samara. However, it was not possible to stay for a long time at the medical institute - financial difficulties in the family brought her back to her hometown, where she continued her studies at the university.

Sittel studied diligently, teachers spoke of her as a diligent student. But youth took its toll, the girl wanted not only to sit at textbooks, but also to have fun. Classmates invited Maria to star in a humorous program that they were going to launch on a local channel. Maria was offered to host this program, but she did not agree to this role in any way. Two weeks later, the girl gave up, and the program turned out to be quite decent. But then Sittel did not think about television at all.

Maria decided that education alone would not be enough, so after graduating from the university she again went to study. This time she chose the All-Russian Correspondence Financial and Economic Institute. This option was suggested to her by her mother, who wanted her daughter to stand firmly on her feet, especially since she already had a bad marriage experience, a child, a divorce behind her.

TV

Maria Sittel's first acquaintance with television took place in 1997, when she was in the company of her classmates in the studio of the Penza channel "Our House". Having learned about the girl's creative inclinations (Maria at that time published several of her articles), the editor-in-chief invited her to broadcast the program "Musical Souvenir", which became a good start in her creative biography.

Six months later, Maria became a real professional, and the managers invited her to try herself as a leading news column, which was launched on the Express channel. Initially, Sittel tried to use an informal style on the air in order to arouse more interest from viewers. However, the very first report was disappointing. The audience took up arms against her highly artistic style, and the girl never experimented with the style again.

Maria quickly moved up the career ladder. Only a year has passed, and she already worked for the State TV and Radio Company "Penza", which in the provinces was considered the ultimate dream and opportunity.

The presenter gained her first popularity, she was already recognized on the streets of her hometown, she gradually became a local star. Two years later, federal channels became interested in her successes, and offered her a promising contract. Sittel received an invitation from the VGTRK general director, Oleg Dobrodeev, who invited her to host the Vesti news program on the Russia-1 channel. Maria did not even think to refuse - such offers are not made twice. Since September 2001, her biography has been closely associated with this channel, where she began with daytime issues. Three years later, Maria was appointed to replace Sergei Brilev, and now she went on the air with the evening news.

It was from this time that her television biography began. The work on the regional and federal channels could not even be compared, the difference was colossal. While working in her hometown, the presenter could express her point of view on the air, but in a new place she presented information clearly and impartially, the viewer himself had to react and form his own opinion and attitude to what was happening. But, despite such differences, Maria worked with pleasure, if earlier TV was perceived as a hobby, now it has become her profession, and this could not but rejoice the promising presenter.

In 2004, Sittel went on the air for the first time on Radio Russia, where she daily works on the Minority Opinion program.

In 2006, Maria appeared as the host of an extended news release, where her co-host was Dmitry Kiselev. At the same time, she took part in the television project "Dancing with the Stars", in which Vladislav Borodinov became her partner. They managed to win this competition.

This victory brought their couple to the Eurovision Dance Contest 2007, where Maria and Vladislav took seventh place.

A year later, Sittel received her first award - the Order of Friendship, with which the state recognized her services in the development of television.

In 2009, Maria became the host of the Special Correspondent program, which aired on the Rossiya channel. Then there was a temporary break in the leading career, in four years she gave birth to three sons, and then another daughter, and she had to retire for a while.

Sittel came out of maternity leave just on the eve of the new 2017. She became the host of the traditional "New Year's Light".

Personal life

Maria Sittel looks great. With a height of 180 cm, she weighs 64 kg, her forms have always attracted numerous fans, and the press did not deny themselves the pleasure of observing her personal life.

The first time Maria got married in her student years. She gave birth to a daughter, Dasha, when she was twenty years old. The presenter herself does not like to talk about her first husband, she never even mentioned his name. The couple separated shortly after the birth of their daughter. Maria at that time received an invitation from Moscow, so she had to leave the baby to her parents, and build a career in the capital herself. When Sittel's life got better, she took her daughter to her. Now Daria is already an adult girl, she entered the Moscow State University, the Faculty of Fundamental Medicine.

In 2006, when Maria “lit” on the floor “Dancing with the Stars” with her partner Vladislav Borodinov, the media exaggerated information about their romance. But they categorically denied the presence of romantic feelings between them, the only thing that connected Maria and Vladislav was participation in the project.

Maria met her second husband, businessman Alexander Tereshchenko, in Cyprus, where she spent her holidays. At the beginning, it was an ordinary holiday romance that was supposed to quickly fade away. But two years later, Tereshchenko called Maria in marriage, and only a year later he waited for her positive answer. They got married in 2009. The wedding was quite modest, only for a narrow family circle. In 2010, the couple became the parents of a son, Ivan, in 2012, the second son, Savva, was born, in 2013, another son, Nikolai.

Maria continues to build her career, but she tries to pay maximum attention to her family and children. Colleagues no longer respond to her pregnancy, and often ask when the next addition to the family. In 2014, Sittel brought her parents to her house, who help raise children and do housework.

Her interviews often appeared in the press, where Maria talked about herself, family, plans for the near future. She was no longer going to give birth, she wanted to find time for a hobby - sculpting dishes, even planned to buy a potter's wheel for herself. But then it became known that Mary was again in an interesting position.

In 2016, at almost forty-one, Maria gave birth to a daughter, named Catherine. Children require a lot of attention and time from her, but the presenter never considers them a burden or a burden. They are happiness for her.

After giving birth, Sittel again gave an interview to reporters, and advised her compatriots not to be afraid to have children, even despite being totally busy. Maria is firmly convinced that a career can be built even with the status of a mother with many children.

After these words, Sittel gained both admirers and opponents. The former believed that it was possible to learn from her example, others considered them an insult to themselves, because they are sure that with such incomes as now, it is very difficult to raise even one child, let alone five. After all, not all Russian mothers have businessmen husbands, and there are relatives who are ready to take care of their children. Not to mention hiring a tutor.

Maria returned to the screens of the country in 2018, and rumors spread again that the presenter was pregnant. But this was not confirmed, and Sittel continues to work fruitfully. After criticism in her direction, Maria did not get angry, she still communicates with everyone on her Instagram.

Maria loves to relax with her children. To do this, they chose a place near the resort town of Burgas, where, in addition to her, some representatives of the domestic show business spend their time. There you can meet Nadezhda Babkina, Philip Kirkorov, Boris Moiseev, Lolita. Maria prefers walking along the seaside and is often the object of the paparazzi who rush to take her off in a swimsuit.
