Thus, the most unusual participant of the festival - the Crescendo orchestra on bicycles from the Netherlands, will perform on the stage of the large amphitheater of the Zaryadye park. The musicians will be dressed in red and blue uniforms or in the national costumes of the town of Volendam. On the feet are traditional Dutch wooden klompa shoes. The orchestra will play well-known jazz compositions on drums and wind instruments in arrangements specially designed for the orchestra.
In the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve on Palace Square at the main entrance, the Imperial Youth Orchestra of Brentwood (Great Britain) will delight the townspeople with the sounds of music. The musical group has more than 70 participants aged 10 to 20 years. This marching orchestra will perform popular English compositions and not only, and as a surprise, it promises to play a Russian song, which was learned specially for the visit to Russia.
The "Corps of Old Grenadiers" from Switzerland will perform in Izmailovsky Park. The muskets, swords and sabers with which the members of the orchestra are armed are genuine. They were used on European battlefields, mainly by the French army. "Corps of Old Grenadiers" - a marching band. Its participants will march behind their commander in the following order: first sappers with axes and white leather aprons, followed by flag bearers, a tambour major and his drummers, then a conductor with musicians, and grenadiers with muskets and their officers will close the procession. The group, consisting of 100 people, will play military marches on wind and percussion instruments.
In Krasnaya Presnya Park, visitors will see the performance of the International Irish Dance Team. A group of 38 dancers from Russia, Germany, the Czech Republic and Slovakia was specially created to perform at the Spasskaya Tower festival. In addition to the dancers, the team includes four musicians who play the accordion, synthesizer, flute and guitar.
The team will present a performance specially prepared for the festival called "Claddah Dreams". Claddah is an Irish village in County Galway, one of the oldest fishing villages in Ireland.
