The teacher's story about academician Pustovoit.

Academician V.S. Pustovoit has developed 42 sunflower varieties. They are purchased and sown by many countries of the world. The All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Oilseeds bears the name of this scientist.

A lark hovers in the sky above the expanse,

The soul is at ease, quiet and light.

Ivan Barabbas

V.S. Pustovoit was engaged not only in sunflower. He repeatedly repeated that the main plant in the Kuban is wheat.

Do you agree with the scientist? Why?

His student, Pavel Panteleimonovich Lukyanenko, achieved great success in breeding new varieties of wheat. He seriously took up the science of selection.

* The word "selection" is translated as "selection". Breeders select the best plants, study their qualities, the best conditions for development. This is how new varieties appear.

What was Lukyanenko called in the Kuban?

What famous wheat variety did he develop?

There is wheat across the Kuban

Among the overworked fields

And melts into the ocean of bread

Green sail of poplars.

Bread rustling ...

In the hot

They bow to the ground

For the warmth of the Cossack soul,

For valor, courage and work!

Ivan Barabbas

It is not easy to develop a new wheat variety.

But it's also not easy to grow it afterwards, protect it from diseases and pests, harvest it, thresh it, store it in the elevator, and finally bake bread.

* Elevator - a granary for receiving, cleaning, drying and unloading grain.

Remember the lines of the poem: In the union of earth and science

The wealth of my Fatherland.

Thousands of farmers work in the Kuban fields every year.

Read a poem by Viktor Podkopaev.

With what does the poet compare the grain?

How can we thank the grain growers with you?

What does it mean to take good care of bread?

What secrets are there in your families, what do you do in order not to throw away the bread?

Indeed, bread is our wealth. The work of thousands of people has been invested in it. Take care of it.

The cultivated areas are concentrated in the north - eastern and central parts of the region, occupying almost the entire Azov - Kuban plain.

The Kuban cornfield spreads over hundreds of kilometers with a multicolored carpet. Bread is the basis of life, the fruit of the great labor of the farmer, the result of the work of hundreds of thousands of people of various professions. Designers and machine builders create equipment for the grain field, builders erect elevators and lay railways to the fields. Vasily Ivanovich Golovchenko During the Great Patriotic War, he was a mechanic - a driver of a self-propelled gun, knocked out more than a dozen German tanks. For the feat near Budapest, the brave soldier was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union. A soldier came from the war to his native village and returned to peaceful work: he became a combine operator. Two gold stars on the chest of Vasily Ivanovich are the awards of the Motherland for courage in battle and for valiant labor.

In the steppe, under this southern sky, grain growers are like relatives to me. They feed Russia with bread, and that means me. (K. Oboyshikov) Every year the Kuban receives consistently high yields of grain crops, and 2002 became a record year: more than 8 million tons - this was the contribution of the Kuban grain growers to the all-Russian loaf. Every tenth loaf of bread in Russia is made from high quality Kuban wheat.

Much has disappeared in the darkness of centuries, but "the same sun scorches the shoulders," the same sun scorches the shoulders, the same sea consoles the eyes. the same sea comforts the eye. The Krasnodar Territory is also prized for its orchards, which were planted here two thousand years ago. Cherries, cherries, plums, peaches, apricots, apples and pears ripen here in abundance. The Slavic agricultural firm "Garden - Gigant" is well known in the Kuban. Fruits of excellent quality are exported from here to various cities of our country.

Great nature ... She is the source of our life. We are a single organism. And she silently asks for help: “Do no harm! Help! " And then she will give us her beauties, feed us with delicious bread and fragrant fruits, give us crystal spring water. We are at home, and we do not need another Earth. Kuban! You give us peace. Cossack song, labor glory Kuban, my boundless.

79 years ago, the Central Executive Committee of the USSR adopted a Resolution on the division of the Azov-Black Sea Territory into Krasnodar Territory and Rostov Region. Since then, neighboring regions have been constantly competing, who is cooler, who is richer, where are more famous people from and where it is better to go to live.

In the last 10-20 years, Krasnodar Territory has been among the undoubted leaders. This can be seen from the statistical data: the population is growing exponentially (only Krasnodar, according to the results of the last census, has become almost 250 thousand more people). It is clear that climatic, economic and social conditions contribute to this. If the first is a natural gift, then the second is the merit of people.

Wheat of the Kuban Breeder

Thanks to scientific inventions, we eat, drink, heal, communicate, move faster than a horse race, and much more. And in this area the Krasnodar Territory has something to be proud of. For example, she was born in the Kuban, lives and works Lyudmila Bespalova, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, creator of over one hundred varieties of wheat. In any bun, loaf or other bakery product there is a part of the work of a famous breeder, since in our region, which breaks yield records every year, more than 90% of the area is sown with Bespalova wheat.

“Now there are 7 billion of us on Earth,” the academician said in an interview with AiF-Yug. - By 2050, 9 billion is expected. 40 years ago, the potential of our planet was estimated at 10 billion people. Now they say that the Earth will withstand 30 billion. But everyone needs to be fed. And wheat is the crop that provides humanity with the most calories. "

Over the past forty years, the wheat yield in the region, largely thanks to the work of Lyudmila Bespalova, has grown by 50 centners per hectare.

Vladimir Babeshko, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, known all over the world for his research in the field of seismology. And although no one on the planet has yet learned to predict where and, most importantly, when tectonic plates will start moving, Babeshko's unique methods make it possible to count on this soon.

“Soon we will be able to predict the time, place and intensity of the earthquake,” says the academician. - Now we have come as close to this as possible. Do you know why we have advanced with seismic developments? Because the country has set a daunting task - to host the Sochi Olympics. And the duty to ensure seismic safety fell on us. I went to Vancouver, met with seismologists, watched how they worked during the Olympics. And as a result, we made a 3-4 times more powerful system in our country - the Canadians themselves admit that there was no such level of seismic safety in any country. Yes, the Olympics are not a nuclear project that greatly advanced Soviet science, but in preparation for it we created breakthrough things that no one in the West can do. "

Young people also keep up with the old guard: last year, the development made a splash in the scientific world Igor Ryadchikov, Head of the Laboratory of Robotics and Mechatronics, KubSU... Together with his colleagues, the young scientist created a universal chassis for robots, thanks to which the mechanism can move in any environment, open doors, climb stairs, overcome thresholds and obstacles.

“We looked at similar designs of our colleagues, understood how we could improve and improve them, wrote a new mathematical model and created our own sample,” says Igor Ryadchikov. - The result is a breakthrough technology in the field of moving mobile devices. This has never happened before, and so far no one has. "

The development has interested many companies, was one of the discoveries of the Innorobo international robotics exhibition and should enter the market next year.

"Gold" our

There have always been enough talented athletes in the region: if you look deeper into history, the first thing to do is to remember the world famous strongman Ivan Poddubny... And in order not to go far, it is enough to recall the winners of the recent Olympics: judoka Beslan Mudranov, tennis player Elena Vesnina, boxer Evgeny Tishchenko, coach of the handball team Evgeny Trefilov and his charges.

Unfortunately, it was from the current Games that it was not possible to bring medals to the Kuban trampoline players, but this sport was and remains the hallmark of the Krasnodar Territory. This is largely due to Vitaliy Dubko - Honored Trainer, the world's best trampoline jumping mentor of the XX century... This year, Vitaly Fedorovich turned 80, but he continues to work, giving all his best, as at the very beginning of the path.

In 1965, Dubko, a young school physical education teacher, was called to judge the country's first Cup in trampoline jumping. And the former acrobat liked this sport so much that he returned to Krasnodar and began to train. And in 1976, everyone learned about the Krasnodar trampoline: at the World Championships in the American Tulsa, Soviet trampolines won all six gold medals, three of which were brought to Krasnodar by the pupils of Vitaly Dubko Evgeniy Yanes and Evgeny Yakovenko... It was then that the famous joke was born, they say, Pashkovka beat America.

In 2000, trampoline jumping was included in the program of the Olympic Games for the first time, and Dubko's students Irina Karavaeva and Alexander Moskalenko then they became the first Olympians.

“In fairness, now the trampoline is different: the score goes not to hundredths, but to thousandths of points,” says Irina Karavaeva. - Nobody knows if there had been such competition 15-20 years ago, we would have won so many medals. In general, both I and Alexander Moskalenko are, perhaps, a consequence of the Soviet training system. Our coach Vitaly Fedorovich Dubko spent the day and slept in the gym. We were the last “products” of the Soviet system, and then a long-term gap formed. Yes, recently something has appeared again, but the failure is felt - the time has been lost. A whole generation of coaches - my peers, who could lead to victories - have dispersed around the world. One coaches the US national team, the second - Australia, the third and left the trampoline altogether. And we, as before, demand from athletes only gold medals. But we need to slightly lower our ambitions, admit that we have lost a lot, and work, work, work. "

Alexander Moskalenko 16 years ago did a real feat. Recall that in 1998 Moskalenko - the holder of the Guinness record for the number of victories at the world championships - left the big sport and went into business. But when the trampoline was in the Olympic program, he decided to return, because victory at the Olympics was not in the huge list of Moskalenko's achievements. The athlete lost 25 kg, got back in shape, went to Sydney and won.

Writer Vladimir Runov:

- We have many people who are worth being proud of, but modern media create their own "heroes" - on news feeds notes about thieves in law. From all sides they trumpet about the life of pop artists, a stream of negativity, like sandpaper, erasing our memory. And the people who created, built, protected - they are here, they walk next to us. Scientist Ivan Trubilin, who built a huge university, breeder Pavel Lukyanenko, after whom the research institute is named, foreman Mikhail Klepikov, two-time Hero of Socialist Labor, builder Mikhail Lantodub, cosmonaut Anatoly Berezovoy. And this is only a small part of those whose names immediately came to mind. Hero of the Soviet Union Anatoly Berezovoy set a record in space, met with Andropov and died on the same day with Zhanna Friske. Three years have passed: the division of Friske's inheritance is still being discussed on all channels, but no one is talking about Berezovoy. People simply don’t have a sense of real values in their heads - it’s as if they are being washed on purpose.

“I thought for a long time whether to return or not, because I had to turn my life upside down,” recalls Moskalenko. - At first I just wanted to try. When it became possible to fight with weight, to recover, to pump, to feel the body - only then there was an understanding that, in principle, it was possible to fight. The father's words turned out to be decisive: “If you had a chance, and you didn’t even try, you will reproach yourself all your life. If you tried and lost, neither you yourself, no one else will be able to present you with a claim ”.

"The Last of the Mohicans" of country prose

Viktor Likhonosov it is not for nothing that they are called a living classic of Russian literature: the author of Our Little Paris is, indeed, the “last of the Mohicans” of Russian country prose.

“Everything that he wrote was written freshly, musically, very accurately,” said the famous Yuri Kazakov. - And everything is imbued with a sharp, even some kind of enthusiastic and sad love for a person.

Now Likhonosov is finishing another book "Lonely Evenings in Peresyp", which he defines as "prosaic memories." And her lines are filled with quiet sadness, regret for the Russia that we have lost. So what has the country lost in the bloody twentieth century?

“We have lost the continuity of historical life,” says Viktor Likhonosov. - There are states in the world in which history, way of life, and traditions are continuously passed on from forefathers, grandfathers, fathers to children. With us, all this was interrupted in the seventeenth year. Then a terrible breakdown happened, when what we had been confessing for centuries, the new government ordered to destroy. "

Dream edge

“The jubilee year begins on September 13th. Our region has been developing for 80 years - both the economy and the socio-political spheres. Now it is difficult to believe that the Kuban was once an outlying region that relied exclusively on agriculture, - says Valery Kasyanov, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, Head. Department of Russian History, KubSU... - The region had a lot of hardships and hardships: repression of the Cossacks, collectivization, famine. After 1937, the Cossacks practically ceased to exist, and the rest could not declare themselves aloud. The time was like that. All this led to the fact that before the Great Patriotic War, the composition of the population changed significantly. The Kuban also had a hard time during the war years: it was here that the most severe air battles, the battle for Novorossiysk, took place.

After the war, the region began to recover. And it happened pretty quickly. Do you know why? In Soviet times, the development of the state was based on industry and the working class. No offense to them, but it should be noted that in the Kuban lived mainly peasants who worked from dawn to dawn. People are hard workers, truly devoted to their land. It is clear that the agrarian sector was developing. But then the formation of the resort industry began.

Gradually the Krasnodar Territory turned into a desired region, a dream-land. People wanted not just to come and relax, but to move and live. Today, almost 6 million inhabitants live in the region, and we are not much behind Moscow and the Moscow region in terms of this indicator.

We have always competed with the Rostov region. Although once we, and they were part of a single Azov-Black Sea region. So Rostov-on-Don has always been considered the capital, the gateway to the south. It was a millionaire city with a well-developed industry, with higher salaries and jobs. For a very long time, many Kuban residents strove to go there to study, work and live. But in the last 25 years, everything has changed dramatically. They leave from there, and go to us to work and study. In 3-4 years Krasnodar will officially become a million-plus city. And I'm not even talking about other neighboring regions, they don't even go on a par with our region.

Of course, a qualitative breakthrough occurred during the preparations for the Olympics. Investments poured into the region, and everyone wanted to become involved in this event. The second wind in the development of the region was given by the construction of the Kerch bridge.

The prospect for the Krasnodar Territory is clear: for several years there will be no region equal to the Kuban in the Southern Federal District. But it is not enough to be content with the achieved results. We need to preserve them and, of course, look for new unique projects that will help the region continue to bloom and develop. "

"Privolye" is a seed-growing enterprise, therefore technology issues are treated with special attention here

According to the Russian magazine General Director, the head of LLC Agrofirma Privolye in Slavyansk-on-Kuban, Sergei Lagoshin, ranks first in the rating of general directors in the plant growing industry in the Krasnodar Territory.

The workers of Priazovskoye CJSC distinguished themselves at the harvest-2019, for which they were awarded awards at the harvest festival held in Krasnodar on October 26. From left to right: E. Entaltsev, winner of the harvest-2019, combine operator; V. Orlovsky, chief agronomist; S. Pipko, the best rice irrigator; A. Pozdeev, champion of the harvest-2019, combine operator.

Priazovskoe CJSC in the village of Petrovskaya, one of the most dynamically developing enterprises of the Slavyansk region, this year again demonstrates high production indicators. For more than 20 years it has been headed by the Honored Worker of Agriculture of the Kuban Ivan Alekseevich Sirota, who has gone from a tractor driver to the director of an enterprise.

On June 10, 2019, at the Expocentre Central Exhibition Complex, a solemn ceremony of awarding the laureates of the National Prize in the field of entrepreneurship was held "Golden Mercury" at the end of 2018.

In the nomination "The best small enterprises in the agro-industrial complex" the jury of the RF Chamber of Commerce and Industry declared the winner LLC "Biotehagro".

The editors of the Agroindustrial Newspaper of the South of Russia heartily congratulate its long-standing and reliable partner, Biotehagro, on winning and receiving a prestigious award in the Russian business community. Keep it up!

Back in 1935, at the Krasnodar Fat and Oil Combine (MZhK), a boiler and blacksmith, foundry and thermal sections were organized. Then they were transformed into an enterprise within the MZhK, which successfully existed for 56 years. But in the crucial year of 1991, this former experimental mechanical plant of the Soviet Ministry of Food Industry had every chance to sink into oblivion, like hundreds of others like it in the collapsed country.

The feat of the people

On April 11 and May 9 this year, residents of the hero-city of Kerch celebrated two significant events: the 75th anniversary of the liberation and Victory Day. This seaside town entered the history of the Great Patriotic War as a settlement, for which there were bloody battles in 1941, 1942, 1943 and 1944. These tragic events were marked by the massive heroism of the soldiers of the Red Army and the civilian population.

In the Kuban, the green light has long been given to the development of viticulture and winemaking, and this topic is constantly in the center of attention of scientists and producers. Recently, emphasis has been placed on the most important issue - the preparation of our own planting material. Scientists strive to achieve high phytosanitary sustainability of grapes in order to ensure the environmental friendliness of the final product, and are making serious progress in this direction.

Vladimir Nikolaevich Gukalov (center) can often be seen in the fields of the district, in the working environment

June. Heat. The sun beats down so that, after walking a few steps across the field, it is already all wet: sweat is pouring down in a hail. "Field Day" at the Severokubansk Experimental Station in the village of Leningradskaya. 100 - 120 people walk from grade to grade: agronomists, heads of peasant farms, engineers, managers of agricultural holdings. Everyone is listening attentively to the head of the department, Anna Mikhailovna Vasilyeva. The discussion revives next to the crops of new varieties: Graf, Steppe, Timiryazevka 150 and Gerda. Everyone is interested in the peculiarities of cultivation: the seeding rate, predecessors, the resistance of the variety to fusarium, the dose of fertilizers ... One of the most curious in this group, with a notebook and a pen in his hands, is the head of the Leningrad region Vladimir Nikolayevich Gukalov.
