After that, we decorate our Christmas tree - we hang toy balls on its branches, and decorate the top with a five-pointed star. We put the traditional one under the tree.

Often the work is done - we learned how to draw a Christmas tree in stages with a pencil. Now we start filling our picture with color. First cover the entire sheet with a layer of translucent blue watercolor.

When the paint dries up, arm yourself with green watercolor pencils and start painting the needles. We make some of them lighter, and some with a darker shade. We distribute the light tone closer to the edge of the spruce paws, the dark one to their tops.

We paint the Christmas balls with a red watercolor pencil, leaving their center unpainted.

Now cover the unpainted middle with lighter pencil strokes.
