City Festival relay race of arts position. III All-Russian Festival of Choreographic Art "Dance Relay

The 2018 City Relay Festival of Arts is one of the most popular and demanded competitions, which has been in great demand for several years now. This competition can be safely attributed to the festival of children's and youth creativity, the main goal and task of which, of course, is to identify the most gifted and talented children and groups. Many say that getting into this competition is a good chance and opportunity not only to demonstrate all your abilities and talent, but also a good starting step in artistic development. If you feel that you have talent, then it's time to get acquainted with the main features and conditions of this competition, which we will now talk about.

Competition - conditions, participants and requirements for them.

It should be said right away that the competition is a festival held strictly within the framework of the state program, which already contains all the rules, conditions and requirements aimed at identifying new and gifted talents.

According to the charter, the organizer of the competition is the City Methodological Center of the city of Moscow itself. As far as the date and time of the holding is concerned, its terms are established by a specially created committee.

According to the charter, the special committee to be created consists of employees of the methodological center of the city of Moscow.

If I say a few words about who can become a participant in this festival, this, of course, is everyone who wants additional and general educational organizations, whose age is strictly within the framework of 5 to 18 years. After all participants are registered, the organizers necessarily divide them into two leagues, with their own characteristics. How to understand this?

  • First, league # 1. This includes children from kindergartens and general education organizations aged 5 to 7 years.
  • Secondly, 2 league. These are mainly children from educational organizations and creative teams aged 7 to 18 years.

Now let's talk directly about the competition itself, which is usually divided into several stages, with its own characteristics, characteristics and conditions. What is the main essence of each stage taken separately?

  1. Stage 1. The start always takes place in September and October. What does it include? First of all, there is a review of all concert numbers of different genres presented by all educational organizations. As a rule, these events take place within each institution participating in the relay. Among all the presented participants, the jury chooses the best and selects numbers for the 2nd round. Based on the results of this stage, the jury must compile a multi-genre program from the numbers selected for the second stage.
  2. Stage 2. It is planned for the period November, December and January. If you want to become a participant in this stage, the main condition is still registration on the official website of the City Methodological Center. Remember, the registration process is carried out directly by the teacher himself, on whom all responsibility lies. The entire concert program must necessarily pass according to a pre-drawn and planned plan, the schedule of which is checked by the jury before the start. All tours must be held at a public level, and in order to participate in each of these tours, teams must prepare and present one number in each separate age group. In the event that you decide to make a number in a foreign language, then be sure to provide the jury with the text of the song and its translation. The duration of the concert performance should not be more than 5 minutes, and in the case of artistic reading - exactly 3 minutes. The results of this stage are accepted collectively. But all participants must be sure to be aware of what points and points can be deducted for. What are these cases? This is aggression towards other participants of the festival or members of the jury, the use of profanity during a performance, the use of religious or political topics, the use of indecent gestures or shouts.

  3. Phase 3. Scheduled for February, March and April 2018. The final concert of the laureates is always held in April.

Now is the time to talk about the grading system and the work of the jury. The work of the jury is based directly on strictly established criteria, which are spelled out in the statutes. For example, the following indicators and parameters can be included in this list.

  1. Performance culture and artistry, craftsmanship.
  2. The aesthetic and artistic value of the room.
  3. The quality and complexity of the presentation.
  4. Correspondence of the chosen repertoire to the age of the performer.

As far as genres are concerned, one should not assume and think that the competition and the festival are held strictly in the same direction. The list of the most popular genres of this festival includes the following. These are choral, vocal, instrumental, folklore, dance, original, ethnic culture, modern direction, artistic reading, performance of vocal and instrumental ensembles. Regarding the results themselves, the absolute winners in their genre and age category are those who scored the maximum number of points in the rating table. All those who took the second, third and fourth places in the rating table become prize-winners.

As you can see, this is an arts festival, a competition in which every talented and gifted child must try his hand, because this is a good opportunity to declare himself and his talent.

The 2017 City Relay Arts Festival is a fairly popular and beloved by all children competition, which has its own characteristics and characteristics, the knowledge of which will help many to understand and take part in it.

7 Appendix 2 Main characteristics and requirements for genre directions of the Festival "Relay of Arts" Methodological recommendations for holding the City Festival of Children and Youth Creativity "Relay of Arts 2017" VOCAL GENRE (academic vocals, pop vocals, jazz, songs with folk tunes in modern processing, rock -products, author's song) Academic vocals (or classical vocals) are noticeably different from jazz or pop performance techniques. Today, classical vocals are performed in the genre of chamber vocal music, in the opera, chapel, academic choir, with a symphony orchestra. However, some pop singers also work in an academic manner. Academic singing is a style of performance that assumes that the singer has a large number of different skills, such as: correct breathing, correct sound production (singing on a support, using resonators, singing dome, etc.), clear diction and articulation, correct intonation, and the ability to switch between registers; artistry, emotionality and expressiveness of performance are also required. Distinctive features of academic vocal Academic vocal does not involve the use of a microphone or other amplifying equipment. The vocalist, thanks to full control over his voice, is able to sound the hall without merging or entering into confrontation with the orchestra. A competent academic vocalist is distinguished by the ability to sing in a wide vocal range and the ability to reproduce qualitatively the most difficult material in the musical technical sense. At the same time, the slightest unnecessary overtones are not allowed: tremolations, sips, wheezing and other sound defects. Academic vocal striving for the ideal singing manner: the singer achieves a volumetric clear sound of the voice. A musician working in classical technique masters the widest palette of means of musical, vocal and artistic expression. The singer is able to reproduce the most subtle and transparent tones, and produce extremely vivid expressive compositions. At the same time, regardless of the range of feelings put into the song, it turns out to be harmonious, beautiful and aesthetically perfect. Pop vocal is a special kind of modern vocal art, which combines many styles and directions, creates a rich palette of images. Variety singing is a manner of performance that presupposes, first of all, the communication of the singer with the audience through the created song image, not only through the melody and text, but also expressive movement, bright emotionality, and artistry. Pop vocal differs from academic in a more open and more natural sound. However, singing skills, proper positioning and sound support are just as essential in pop vocals as they are in academic vocals. Jazz vocals, above all, imply an ideal sense of rhythm and harmony, as well as voice mobility and the ability to improvise. In jazz singing, you need to feel the form of the piece, be able to present your understanding of the melodic theme,

8 modifying it, but without leaving the necessary harmony. A sensitive partnership of musicians, the ability to improvise on the go is important. Author's song (bard music) is a song genre, the distinctive features of which are the combination in one person of the author of the music, the text and the performer, the guitar accompaniment, the priority of the importance of the text over the music. CHOIR GENRE (choirs and vocal-choral ensembles) A choir (choral group) is a singing group or musical ensemble consisting of singers. Choir types: vocal choir ensemble from 12 to 20 participants; chamber choirs from 20 to participants; medium choirs from 40 to participants; large choirs from 70 to 120 participants; consolidated choirs of up to 1000 participants, gather for a while from different groups. Such compositions have the status of "happening-performance" and do not belong to the performing arts per se, as they are rather a propaganda and educational direction. A choir differs from a vocal ensemble (vocal duet, trio, quartet, quintet, etc.) by the presence of at least two (according to P.G. Chesnokov, three) or more people performing the same part, i.e. 12 people ... The choir is led by a conductor or choirmaster. The leader of the church choir is called the choir director. Types of choral groups The name type of choir is understood as the characteristics of the performing group in terms of the constituent groups of singing voices. It is known that singing voices are divided into three groups of women, men and children. Thus, a choir that brings together the voices of one group is called homogeneous, and a choir that has combinations of female (or children's) and male voices or singing voices of all groups is called mixed. In performing practice, four types of choirs are widespread: women, men, children, mixed. The minimum number of singers in one choir part is 3. From the point of view of the manner of singing, there are: academic choirs singing in an academic manner. The academic manner of singing is based on the principles and criteria of musical creativity and performance, developed by the professional musical culture and traditions of the centuries-old experience of the opera and chamber genres; folk choirs singing in a folk manner. The genre features of Russian folk choirs are: reliance on local or regional traditions of everyday folk singing; use of natural register sounding of voices; sub-voice-polyphonic chant of the song as the basis of choral polyphony.

9 Choirs can have different statuses, for example, professional, amateur (amateur), church and educational. Explanations for the participants of the competitive listening: 1. Academic choirs (live sound, no microphones): it is not allowed to use phonograms as musical accompaniment. A choir can be considered a collective, in which at least 20 participants perform on stage. 2. Academic vocal and choral ensembles (live sound, no microphones): it is not allowed to use phonograms as musical accompaniment. The number of participants is from 12 to 19 inclusive. The performance of the choir or vocal-choral ensemble at the competitive audition can be held with or without a conductor (at the request of the head of the ensemble). Vocal and choral ensembles perform up to 2 works of different characters with musical accompaniment or a cappella (a work of sacred music, an adaptation of a folk song, a work of Russian or foreign classics, a work of Soviet, Russian or contemporary foreign composers). The uniform style of the collective's costumes is taken into account. 3. Academic vocal ensembles (live sound, no microphones). The number of participants is from 2 to 11 inclusive. The ensemble performs without a conductor. 4. Academic solo singing and small vocal forms (duets, trios, quartets): minus phonogram as musical accompaniment and a microphone are allowed. The microphone is not used with piano voice accompaniment or other acoustic instrument accompaniment. Phonograms "karaoke" are not allowed. It is advisable to include a work of patriotic themes in the performance program of choirs, vocal-choral ensembles, vocal ensembles and soloists: about the Motherland, about Russia, about Moscow, about their homeland, etc. Note: The appearance of the contestants must be neat and tidy. The presence of removable shoes is mandatory for everyone (participants, accompanying persons, team leaders). Students in sportswear and shoes, work and home clothes, jeans are not allowed to the competitive audition. For the performance, the participants of the festival need to think over a stage costume in accordance with the artistic image of the concert number. Stage culture is a must! The jury has the right to stop listening to the competition program of the participant who violated the competition requirements. The presence of a teacher responsible for participation in the festival from an educational organization at the qualifying round is mandatory!

10 FOLKLORE GENRE (folk singing, folklore ensembles) Folk art is usually called folklore. This is music, poetry, theater, dance, which were created by the people and are closely related to traditions, religious beliefs, rituals, customs and history. Musical folklore is the creativity of the people, which is expressed in a vocal, instrumental or vocal-instrumental form. In terms of content, musical folklore is divided into epic, lyric and drama. The main types of musical folklore are song, song improvisation, song without words, epic legend, epic, dance melodies, dance choruses, instrumental pieces and tunes. The most common type of vocal folk music is a folk song, a musical-poetic work, one of the most ancient forms of musical and verbal creativity. In some ancient and partly modern types of folk music, it exists in unity with dance, playing, instrumental music, verbal and visual folklore. An essential feature of a folk song is a direct connection with everyday life and work (labor songs accompanying various types of labor, burlak, mowing, weeding, harvesting, threshing, etc. kupala, wedding, funeral, game calendars, etc.). Dancing folk songs are inseparable from a variety of folk dances. The folk song is distinguished by a wealth of genres, different in origin, character and function in folk life. Conventionally, the following thematic groups can be distinguished: 1. Songs associated with the calendar, calendar holidays and rituals (invocation and meeting of spring, "larks", early spring and summer Trinity round dances, songs of harvest harvest and haymaking, New Year greetings, carols and divination songs, Shrovetide songs); 2. Songs related to various events in the personal and family life of people (for the birth of a child, baptismal, lullabies, children's play round dances, magnificence, wedding and recruitment, funeral laments and laments, memorial, spiritual verses); 3. Epic song genres (epic, skaz, buffoons and fables, some spiritual poems, ballads, historical songs); 4. Lyric songs (songs about love, happy and unrequited, tragic; lingering songs, "suffering", city songs and cants); 5. Songs of everyday life and holidays (soldier's and student's, nautical and navigational songs; labor haulers, artisans, peasants; festive vivat, booth, comic songs and ditties). Lyrical songs received the greatest musical development in the folklore of all peoples; their diversity is due to the variety of social groups that create and perform them (farmers, artisans, workers, students, etc.). Each social group of society has its own song lyrics.

11 INSTRUMENTAL GENRE (orchestras, ensembles, instrumental soloists, excluding pianists) Types of orchestras: symphonic, wind, string, folk instruments, pop, jazz. Requirements for the composition of the orchestras participating in the competitive auditions: the number of illustrators in school orchestras should not exceed 20% of the number of members of the group; only one microphone per soloist is allowed; the use of a synthesizer or grand piano as part of an orchestra is permissible only as a missing orchestral voice. CONCERT ROOMS OF ETHNOCULTURE (vocal and dance art in national costumes) Soloists, ensembles and collectives of vocal, choral and dance genres performing in the ethnic direction are invited to participate. Contestants perform a song or national dance of any genre in the national language. Concert numbers are presented in national costumes (ethnographic costumes or stylized costumes made by contemporaries in compliance with all traditional features and corresponding to the performed repertoire). In the performance of the competitive material, it is desirable to have closeness of sound and dialect to the manner of singing and dialect of the region whose songs are being performed; in the dance numbers the observance of the stylistic peculiarities of the folk choreography of the region. ORIGINAL GENRE (circus art: magic tricks, pantomime, clownery, balancing act, eccentricity, acrobatics) The original genre is not similar in content to any classical one. It contains numbers that demonstrate the capabilities of the human body. Most often, artists of the original genre perform in a circus or specialized shows. These are acrobats, magicians, clowns, jugglers, parodists, trapeze artists, animal trainers. They are able to cause joy, pleasure, admiration in people. The basis of circus art is the demonstration of the unusual (eccentric) and funny. DANCE GENRE (classical and modern choreography, folk and pop dance, ballroom and sports dance, art in sports, rhythmic gymnastics, cheerleading) Dance is one of the most beautiful forms of art in which the emotionally imaginative content of music is embodied in the movement of the human body. This is the art of movement, the main characteristics of which are: rhythm (fast or slow repetition and variation of movements); drawing (combination of movements in the composition); dynamics (range of motion); technique (degree of body control and skill of execution).

12 Types of dances Classical choreography (ballet) is a form of performing arts. The main types of dance in ballet are classical and character dance. Classical dance is the main expressive means of ballet, the hallmarks of which are the characteristic setting of the legs, arms, body and head, the exact adherence to the principles of eversion of the legs, verticality of the body and isolation of its various parts. Classical dance moves towards geometric clarity. Character dance is a type of stage dance, based on folk dance (or everyday dance), which has been processed by a choreographer for a ballet performance. Modern choreography is a direction in dance that includes various dance styles and techniques of the XX XXI centuries. This is a synthesis of classical dance, elements of gymnastics, acrobatics, pantomime. Contemporary choreography is an author's choreography, in which there are no canonical obligatory movements and poses. Folk dance is the most widespread type of folk dance created by an ethnic group, conveying its national culture and temperament. Folk dance reflects ethnic characteristics, choreographic language and plastic expressiveness of an ethnos or ethnic group, which are manifested in the character, coordination of movements, in the musical-rhythmic and metric structure of the dance, in the manner of its performance. Pop dance is a choreographic piece intended for concert performance on the stage. Pop dance is characterized by external expressiveness and showiness, entertaining character, virtuosity. In form, pop dance is a miniature dance with a small number of performers. Ballroom dance is a kind of pair dance that has folk origins. They were performed at balls, which were held in rooms covered with parquet. From the huge variety of both elite (historical and household) and folk dances, only pair dances were included in the ballroom group. Sports ballroom dance is a dance sport that combines two styles of sports dances: International Standard (European): slow waltz, tango, Viennese waltz, slow foxtrot, quickstep (fast foxtrot); International Latin American (Latin): samba, cha-cha-cha, rumba, paso doble, jive. VOCAL-INSTRUMENTAL ENSEMBLE (VIA) A vocal-instrumental ensemble consists of 3 or more people, including several vocalists and multi-instrumentalists. VIAs use the usual set of instruments for pop and rock groups: electric guitars, drums, various versions of electronic keyboards, such as electric organs and synthesizers, sound reinforcement equipment. The VIA's repertoire is mainly composed of songs written by professional composers and poets, as well as songs written by members of the group; folk and folk

13 songs; disco, rock music and its directions, synth-pop, big-beat and pop-music, cover versions of songs of western bands (with lyrics in Russian). The appearance of the VIA artists is typical concert clothes. Any pronounced fatal attributes such as unusual hairstyles, tattoos, riveted leather clothing, metal accessories, etc. in the same spirit are certainly excluded. DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS OF MODERN YOUTH CULTURE (hip-hop, rap, soul, R&B, beatbox, break-dance, etc.) Hip-hop is a musical genre. The term "hip-hop" is defined as a combination of the two words hip and hop. Hip-hop has a large number of directions: from fairly "light" genres, such as pop-rap, to aggressive hardcore rap, horror. The content of the songs ranges from light and unconstrained, like reminiscing about the "good old days", to raising social issues. The origins of hip-hop lie in funk, which is the main "progenitor" of this trend. However, other genres of rhythm and blues, soul, jazz, reggae also had an impact on the formation of hip-hop. Very often the terms "hip-hop" and "rap" are used interchangeably, which is not correct. Rap is one of the main elements of hip-hop music. Rap is a recitative performance of verses to rhythmic music, which can be used not only by hip-hop performers, but also by representatives of other genres of modern rhythm and blues, pop music, rapcore, nu metal, raggamuffin; at the same time, there are alternative hip-hop artists who do not use vocals in their recordings. Originating as a variation of the spoken word style, rap has evolved into a true art with many facets. Modern R&B, or modern R&B R&B (English R "n" B) musical style, which originates from the rhythm and blues of the 1940s, especially popular in the USA and Canada. Although the acronym R&B associates with rhythm and blues music, the acronym is used to define a newer style of African American music that emerged after disco in the 1980s. Contemporary Arend-B combines elements of soul, funk, new jack swing, hip hop and dance music. Several sources define the R&B style as modern urban music. Soul (from the English. Soul "soul") is a genre of popular music of African American origin, which originated in the southern states of the United States in the 1950s on the basis of rhythm and blues. Soul music took its characteristic emotionally felt, ecstatic, sometimes exalted, “soulful” vocal style from the tradition of spiritual chants, gospel and spirituals, as well as jazz vocal improvisation. In the 1960s, soul became the most popular form of black music. By this time, blues and rhythm and blues, being largely borrowed and adapted by white rock and roll and blues rock performers, were already perceived as interracial genres, and African Americans began to identify themselves through soul music. Beatboxing or Beatboxing is the art of creating melodies using the vocal apparatus and articulations with the organs of the mouth. At the same time, modern beatboxing technique

14 includes many other areas as well. Most often beatboxing is used as accompaniment in hip-hop compositions. Beatboxing is considered the fifth element of hip-hop culture. Break-dance (Break-dance or b-boying) street dance, one of the currents of hip-hop culture and within it is called "breaking" (breaking, eng. Breaking) originated in the late 1960s (Africa, Bambaataa). Today, there are two main types of this dance: the lower extreme dancer performs mainly acrobatic and power tricks on the floor; upper break dance is based on body plastic: these are fantastic movements of the body in space and fixes, which at first glance contradict all the laws of physics and gravity. All breaking dance came from New York from the South Bronx. The term "breakdancing" (Breakdancing) was created by music journalists for the convenience of ordinary people, since in English the word breaking denotes different concepts and refers to different cultures. For the same reason (for clarity of identification) in the hip-hop environment itself began to use the term "B-boying", which comes from the word B.Boy (break-boy). It is generally accepted that it was formed as a separate dance by 1973. ARTISTIC READING (or expressive reading) Fiction reading (or expressive reading) is a form of art, the essence of which is the creative embodiment of a literary work in an effectively sounding word. To embody a work in a word means to conjure up in the minds of listeners the life depicted by the author in all its fullness and diversity, to reveal the artist's attitude to what is depicted, to convey the peculiarities of the artistic form and style of the author. The ultimate goal of the reader, in accordance with his interpretation, is to reveal to the listener the ideological and artistic essence of the work, to expressively convey the content of the work to the listener, to help them see, feel and evaluate the phenomena depicted in it as the performer sees, experiences and evaluates them. Expressive reading has two sides: penetration into the meaning of the performed work, the transfer of performing penetration to the listeners. K.S. Stanislavsky taught: “Often take a book, a pencil, and mark up what you read in terms of speech. Stuff your ear, eye, and hand with this. Marking speech bars and reading from them are necessary because they force you to analyze and delve into their essence. Without delving into it, you will not say the phrase correctly. The habit of speaking by beats will make your speech not only harmonious in form, understandable in transmission, but also deep in content, since it will make you constantly think about what you are saying ", and also" You cannot order a feeling, but you have to achieve it in other ways. A psychological situation should appear that makes it possible for a person's emotional attitude to a certain range of phenomena to arise, and this resulting emotional attitude will be experienced by him. " The principles of working on the text (according to Stanislavsky): study of the text, maximum getting used to its ideological and artistic content; public orientation, the effectiveness of expressive reading; a good understanding of the "tasks" that should be set before the listener when reading the text.

15 Reading aloud is addressed to the audience. For the perception of reading, it is necessary that the listeners understand what is being read to them. Understanding is due to the presence of certain knowledge, certain experience. It is the teacher's responsibility to take into account the age and development of his students. To prepare for the reading competition on the site of the State Medical Center (methodological recommendations "Expressive reading of a literary text. Speech technique" are posted by the authors: V. I. Annushkin and A. G. Zhukova, and the video lectures "Language is a word" by V. I. Annushkin.
