Andrey Rodnoy (Rodnykh) was born in the small town of Leninogorsk, located on the territory of Tatarstan, into a family far from humor and art. The boy's parents were representatives of technical professions. Soon the family moved to a permanent place of residence in the city of Urai.

He stayed at this workplace for exactly a year, after which he wrote a letter of resignation of his own free will. For the first time in his life, he failed to find the key to his work colleagues. and become one of their own among them, and, secondly, the small salary did not suit the future star of Russian show business.
For some time, Rodnykh worked for the Surgutneftegaz company, but he did not stay there for a long time either - a new hobby appeared in his life. In 2006, together with his friend Andrey Fedyay, he became a member of the humorous duet "Good Mood Club" and began to appear on the stage. Talented guys were noticed and invited to take part in the humorous show "Laughter without rules".
In Moscow, Rodnykh and Fedyai changed the name of the duet to "Penguins" and conquered the judges of "Laughter without Rules" and "Slaughter League" with their numbers. It's easy to drown without talent and acumen in Moscow
- Andrey, how did Moscow meet you?
- I moved to the capital in 2007, before that Andrei Fedayi and I, with whom we did the duet "Penguins", went to the shooting of "Laughter without Rules" and "Slaughter League". And then I was invited to work as an editor at "Laughter ...". My first big serious work was the Moscow Eurovision Song Contest. As part of a team of authors, he wrote text and jokes for the hosts. The most difficult thing for us was the adaptation of the Russian-language text when translating into foreign languages: it was very difficult to do it so that the meaning and humor were not lost. After moving to Moscow, at first it was a bit tough - a huge amount of work, I slept 5-6 hours a day, and not at night, but when there was a free minute. In everyday life, I am an unpretentious person, sometimes I had to spend the night on shifted chairs, but there were no such Spartan conditions - they immediately provided a good two-room apartment. I adapted to a new place and rhythm of life in about six months. The main thing that I understood is that Moscow is a huge swamp. If you don't have talent or acumen, or even just good connections, you will simply drown. Therefore, it is difficult for me to understand people who come here in search of something like that and expect that everything will be good for them at once and in chocolate.
- Is the best improvisation well prepared?
- There is no place for impromptu on television. Take the same project "ProjectorParisHilton" - each program was written for 3-4 hours, after which everything superfluous was cut out of it and the most successful one remained for 40 minutes. Improvisation was in the "Slaughter League", but everyone there understood perfectly well that it might not turn out funny at all. Not a single producer will allow the presenter to improvise on the air - what if he is in a bad mood, or the person is just tired ... As such, there are no scenarios on television, or there are, but each program has its own. Only the replicas on which they rely when recording the broadcast are registered.
- Is it hard to work with the hosts? After all, you are writing for Andrey Malakhov, Dmitry Nagiyev, and many others ... What, in your opinion, is more difficult - coming up with jokes or playing around with them on the air?
- Of course, at first I was just shocked - "Ooooo, Marat Basharov came up to me!" And Ivan Urgant, after filming Eurovision or Big Difference in the dressing room, praised him for a good joke or, on the contrary, scolded. At one stage, I noticed that I did not have enough knowledge, vocabulary to write scripts - I began to read and study. Still, working with such stars requires a lot. Note that most of the screenwriters on our television are from KVN. They own many successful projects: "Ural dumplings", "Real boys" - the work of KVN workers. It is difficult to say whose job is more difficult. Do you think it's easy to joke four years about ice and skating at Ice Age ?! The guys and I have already gone over everything that is connected with this. The screenwriter is perhaps more flexible than the presenter. But the presenter is also not just a “talking head” - he passes the text through himself, works on the joke so that it “plays”. Only gets more than the script writer !. By the way, my friend Andrey Fedyai became the creative producer of the Fizruk TV series on TNT, and even starred as a policeman there. The most interesting thing is that Dmitry Nagiyev recognized him, first approached him and said that he really liked the performances of our duet "Penguins".

- You are also running a television project, and paired with Natalya Medvedeva ...
- I came to the program "Such a Movie" as a screenwriter, and became a co-host. I have known Natalia for a long time, about 5 years. My main task is not to interfere with her, because half of the films we are talking about, I not only have not watched - I have not even heard of them.
- Do they recognize you on the streets? Still, we were in the frame for several years before "Such a movie".
- It happens. Recognized in fitness classes, in a travel agency ... once a flight attendant on the plane found out, smiled ... More often than not, people say: "No, well, somewhere I saw you" ...
- You have a very busy schedule, you are working on a bunch of TV projects. How does the family feel about this?
- Believe me, my wife Olga has a much richer schedule. She is my director. There is literally everything on it: my image, communication connections, my schedule ... At the same time, Olga still leads the house, attends various fitness and yoga classes, takes our daughter Kira to dance and Spanish classes ... Moscow is her city, it has become it is clear as soon as Olya came to me here. She is not embarrassed by either distance or endless traffic jams, she is very organized, calm and collected - not like me!
- What successes does your daughter make happy?
- Kira, at the age of 8, has already given 12 concerts at the Olimpiyskiy - I, for example, did not have one there! She goes to a very cool dance school. I would like to spend more time with them, but now it happens that I come when they are already asleep and leave when they are still asleep.
- When do you rest? And what's the best way for you to relax?
- The last vacation I had was 12 days long. For me, this is the time to sleep, eat and not think about anything. You can lie on the couch at home, or you can go paragliding, diving. The main thing is not to burden the brain!
Biography
Andrey Rodnykh was born on November 26, 1982. His small homeland is Leninogorsk, located on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan. Later, the family moved to the city of Urai. Andrei's father and mother have nothing to do with humor and stage. They are representatives of the technical professions.
From an early age, our hero demonstrated creativity. He liked to paint, dance and sing. Also, all neighbors and relatives noted that the boy had a good sense of humor.
School years
In 1989, Andrei went to first grade. He immediately became friends with boys and girls. Teachers have always praised our hero for diligence and good behavior.
Several times a week Andryusha attended the sports section. The coach has repeatedly told parents that their son has excellent physical characteristics and a bright future. In 2003, Rodnykh Jr. received the title of Master of Sports in Winter Pentathlon. After that, the guy decided to leave the section. But this did not mean that he forever said goodbye to sports.
Student
Having received a "certificate of maturity", Andrey went to Surgut. There he entered the State University at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports. He was considered one of the best students on the course.
Parents and friends were sure that after graduation he would continue his sports career. But Andrey surprised everyone. The guy got a job in the municipal institution "Option". Rodnykh worked there for only a year. He left of his own accord. What were the reasons for this decision? Firstly, Andrey was not satisfied with the salary. Secondly, he failed to establish contact with the team. The next place of work of our hero was the Surgutneftegaz company. But even there he did not last long.
Humorist
In 2006, Andrey Rodnykh and his friend Fedyai created their own "Good Mood Club". The talented guys were noticed and invited to Moscow to the show "Laughter without rules" (TNT). They managed not only to show themselves to the whole country, but also to reach the final of this competition.
