We teach children to draw a person: simple diagrams and recommendations. Simple ways to teach children to draw Learning to draw for children 5 years old

Drawing is a favorite pastime of young children 5-6 years old. Often adults also take part in this fun, because drawing with children is fun and interesting. We will tell you how to portray wild or domestic animals for children so that the children will like it.

The cat is probably the first and most often drawn animal for children. We will tell you how to draw cats in stages so that the pictures are believable and at the same time very simple for beginners. So, we draw a well-fed beautiful cat in stages with a pencil.

First, draw a circle, and on top of it, an oval laid on its side. Draw two triangles to the oval - these will be ears. Draw on one side of the large circle a ponytail of the shape you want. Just above the middle of the large circle, put a point and from it draw the paws of the mouth. At the bottom, on the sides of the large circle, draw a half of an oval - these will be the hind legs. Now it remains to depict the eyes and face of the cat, mustache and details of the legs. Your beautiful and believable cat is ready.

Dogs

Dogs are also loved by all children, so let's learn how to draw these beautiful and kind animals with a pencil on paper in stages. It will be very, very easy for novice artists, because the pictures will be very beautiful, schematic and light.

So, we draw a friend of man - a dog. First draw a rectangle with not too even corners. To the rectangle on the right side, draw another approximately the same rectangle, only smaller. Draw ears on top of this rectangle. Draw the front and hind legs at the bottom of the larger rectangle.

Now it remains to draw a triangle tail, and also draw a stick, which will show the dog's neck from the upper left corner of the small rectangle to the large one. It remains to depict the eye and nose of the dog and add hair with strokes. It turned out to be a very beautiful little dog.

Duck

For beginners, drawing a duck in stages will be easier than ever, since this is a very simple and funny version of the picture for children 5-6 years old. First, you will need to draw an oval with a worn bottom, and draw a circle-head to it. Draw another circle on the head, which will touch the left side of the large circle, this will be the muzzle.

On the body-oval, you will need to draw another oval, which will also touch the left side of the large oval. At the bottom of the oval, depict oval-legs, and under the head - wings.

Now it remains to draw the details - the eye on the head and the beak, and also give the duck's legs the shape of flippers. You can also draw a small tail and select individual feathers with strokes. Now our duck is ready.

Bear

With a pencil, you can draw completely different animals in stages, but be prepared for the fact that at some point the kid will ask you to draw a bear, and you will have to portray him somehow. So, we draw a beautiful and cute bear.

First you will need to draw an oval, in this oval draw a circle and a button for the nose. From the nose, draw a stick down and a horizontal line that is slightly bent upward. The bear's muzzle is almost ready, now just put the eye-points and draw the ears.

To the head you need to draw an oval with a cut off top and at the very bottom draw a circle with a dot in the middle. This will be the belly of a bear. Now draw the paws with claws. The bear is ready, if you wish, you can add other details to it.

Hare

Many kids love bunnies and to draw them, you will need to try a little. To draw a hare, you first need to draw a hexagon with a concave top edge on a piece of paper. After that, draw a circle with ears on top of it, it will be easy enough for beginners. In the middle of our hexagon we draw an oval, and on the sides - oval-legs.

Two ovals on the hare's belly will represent the front legs, and the ovals on the ears will give them the correct shape and volume. Ovals on the legs will mean the heel and fingers, and the points on the muzzle will mean the eyes and nose of the hare. You can also color the received hare so that the pictures are beautiful, and the image of the hare is believable.

Birds

We draw a chicken, because pictures with birds, albeit domestic ones, are always liked by children. First, you will need to draw a circle, this will be the body of the bird. Draw carved wings around the edges, and draw a neck on top. Place a small oval on the neck, this will be the head.

Now we start drawing details, such as the comb on the head, and draw the legs to the bottom of the body. The beak and eyes can be drawn schematically, just like the feathers on the wings. You can color your chicken so that it is beautiful.

Bees

Let's draw a beautiful and very cheerful bee for children 5-6 years old. It will be very simple and affordable, you just have to try a little.

First you will need to draw an oval, and draw a circle to it. This will be the body. After that, you will need to draw a smaller circle on the circle, this will be the bee's head. To the larger circle, you need to add three legs on each side. It remains to add wing ovals to the bottom of the large circle, and also draw the face of a happy bee. For more effect, paint the body of the bee with black and yellow stripes and your drawing is ready.

How to draw animals

Psychologists have long proved that drawing not only has a beneficial effect on the development of fantasy and imagination in a child, but also helps to learn to think, develops speech, fine motor skills, and coordination of movements. And those parents who have ever turned to a psychologist with their baby probably noticed that the specialist first of all asks him to draw a picture - his family, friends or himself. On the basis of such a drawing, you can learn a lot about the child's inner world, about what kind of relationships he has with other family members and with the children's team.

Starting to draw with a kid, parents usually only count on the fact that he will be busy with creativity, learn to draw various objects or plots on paper. But the earlier creative activities begin, the more developed the child will be by the time he enters school. And in preschool age, the results of creative development become clearly visible. For children 6-7 years old, drawing is not only fun, but also a way to improve their creative and intellectual skills.

A preschooler thinks figuratively, therefore, the more he draws and creates new images, the better he develops intellectually and psychologically. In the process of creative activity, the child develops creativity, learns to create many new images, change details at will, associate his masterpieces with objects, animals, people. By the way, such a game in association perfectly trains imagination, mind, thinking and replaces even the most modern methods of preschooler development.

What skills does drawing develop in children?

Fantasy and imagination

Drawing for children 6 years old and older is a great opportunity to develop imagination, that is, the ability to create images in their minds and transfer them to paper. And the more time a little artist devotes to drawing, the better his imagination will be developed.

Of course, an image invented and transferred to paper cannot convey everything that the child saw in his mind, so he begins to fantasize, invent his own story based on the resulting image. The task of the parents is to listen carefully to his story about the drawing, to fantasize with him and stimulate his imagination.

Subsequently, this will help him make plans for the future, imagine his life in a few years, invent and design something new.

Speech development

Most often, a young artist, even before he starts drawing, talks about what he wants to depict on a piece of paper, reveals the plot of a future picture. And while drawing, he often pronounces his actions aloud, talks about what he is depicting at the moment. All this contributes to the development of his speech, replenishment of his vocabulary. Parents should keep in touch with the child, be interested in the plot of his picture, ask him to tell in more detail about what he wanted to draw, ask leading questions, and discuss the finished work.

Perception of the surrounding world

The perception of the surrounding world in a 5-7 year old child is not yet as perfect as in an adult. Drawing stimulates the development of perception, forces one to study new objects to be depicted in a picture, to discover in them some new qualities that previously remained invisible.

The difficulty of drawing for a child 6 years old and older can be very diverse, depending on his skills. The preschooler can be asked to portray the characters of a familiar fairy tale, cartoon characters, or, for example, the underwater world or space - the way the child imagines it. In the process of creative activity, the artist is unobtrusively transferred new knowledge related to the theme of the drawing.

Drawing techniques for a child 5-7 years old

Drawing isn't just about creating an image with paints or crayons. A young artist can master other drawing techniques using:

It is not necessary to apply paints to the paper with a brush; your own fingers, foam sponges, cotton swabs and many other tools are quite suitable for this. Each drawing technique teaches certain skills, something is given to the child more difficult, and something is easier.

Parents need to understand that preschoolers love to draw when they can. You can permanently discourage a novice artist from the desire to create, if you constantly criticize him or force him to use a drawing technique that he does not like. Failure causes frustration and upset in the preschooler.

When choosing a technique for creating drawings for children 6-7 years old, it must be borne in mind that the use of paints, crayons, pencils requires possession of certain skills, therefore, at the first stages of creativity, it is better to choose what will be easier for the child.

For example, when drawing with pencils, felt-tip pens or colored crayons, a small artist must make some effort, and the resulting drawing may differ significantly from what was originally intended.

Developing a child's drawing talent

Noticing a child's craving for drawing, parents should think about the development of his abilities: enroll in an art school, an appropriate circle, or even contact a private teacher who offers individual training.

But experts recommend enrolling a preschooler in specialized institutions only if he himself is happy to attend classes. And if the child does not seek to go to art school, or the parents prefer to temporarily postpone their studies, it is quite possible to develop the talent of the preschooler on their own.

  • How to draw a pear with paints.
  • Step by step drawing of animals.

When children learn to paint or improve their skills, adults should adhere to the following rules:

  1. Try not to skimp on materials, acquiring everything your artist needs for creativity: albums, sheets, brushes, paints, pencils of different hardness. The quality of materials and tools should also be good - there is nothing worse than drawing with pencils that scratch paper or felt-tip pens that dry out at the very beginning of the creative process. Show your child brushes of different thicknesses and softness, as each of them is capable of transferring the image to the sheet in a completely different way.
  2. Create a comfortable corner for your child, to which he will have unhindered access at any time and where he can settle down for creativity. For children 7 years old, drawing is already quite a serious activity that can require solitude and concentration. Explain to them how to store paints, take care of brushes, tell them what and where they can paint on.
  3. Never, under any circumstances, criticize the work of a young artist.... It is possible to discuss certain shortcomings without speaking negatively about the drawing as a whole.
  4. Do not try to fix anything in your child's work on your own., it is better to give him advice, which he will use if desired.

To develop the talent of drawing in a child of 6-7 years old is within the power of every parent!

There are artists whose animals and birds are the main characters of drawings and paintings. They are called animalists. The word "animalist" comes from the Latin word "animal", which means "animal." But drawing animals is not so easy. Because animals can't pose. The animalist has to diligently observe and study their habits and character. The artist begins his work by making sketches, sketches and sketches from the nature of live animals, birds, fish, and long-term work is usually carried out from stuffed animals or from a photograph.
Animal artists try not only to achieve external resemblance, but also reflect in the drawings the character inherent in the depicted animal or bird, try to convey the individuality of the animal.

One of these artists, People's Artist of Russia Viktor Chizhikov, is the author of the Olympic bear cub Mishka, the mascot of the XXII Summer Olympic Games, which took place in Moscow in 1980.

He designed books by Marshak and Barto, Chukovsky and Volkov, Mikhalkov and Nosov. For half a century, his illustrations have appeared in the magazines Vesyolye Kartinki and Murzilka. More than one generation of readers has grown up on his drawings, full of sunlight, humor and joy. One of the artist's favorite themes is the image of cats.
Wonderful illustrations were drawn by Viktor Chizhikov for the book by Andrey Usachev "The Planet of Cats". The artist gave his heroes - animals the traits peculiar to people.

There is a cat planet somewhere.
There are cats, how people live:
Reading newspapers in bed
And they drink coffee with cream.
They have apartments and summer cottages,
Cars and other comfort.
They love to fish
And they take the children to the resort.
They fly to overseas countries.
Find diamonds with a fist.
Tulips are planted in flower beds
And they even breed dogs.
Luxurious life on the planet
In cats, cats and kittens!
But these strange inhabitants
They are sad about something all the time ...
How many good toys!
How many records and books! ..
Only cats do not have cats.
Oh, how sad we are without them.
(Andrey Usachev)

And we have no time to get bored, we start drawing a fluffy kitten.

Practical work.

We apply a stencil of the cat's figure in the middle of the album sheet.

Dip a dry sponge in yellow paint and fill the silhouette with color using printing movements. We start with the head, then the body, tail.

Good day, dear parents. Today we will talk about how to teach a child to draw in stages. You should understand that this method is as accessible as possible for young children. We will consider age characteristics, as well as the basic rules and methods for reproducing some pictures using special algorithms.

What is the use of drawing

  1. The child develops fine motor skills.
  2. In the drawings, the perception of the world is revealed, emotions and feelings are conveyed.
  3. The baby develops his own opinion.
  4. When a child draws, the right and left hemispheres of the brain are actively developing. Thus, he is essentially acting and showing his creative inclinations.
  5. Promotes the development of visual skills, speech, memory, touch and thinking.
  6. The process allows you to develop discipline, self-organization and perseverance.
  7. The kid gets used to finish what he started.
  8. Drawing can be seen as a way of spending time calmly, which replaces active games.

Step-by-step method of creating drawings

Step-by-step drawing is a method of drawing pictures, which makes it possible to do it sequentially, following simple instructions and diagrams. First you need to teach your child to draw simple drawings, and then move on to more complex ones.

Often, even adults find it difficult to understand how to draw a particular creature or object. Knowing how to do this using simple geometric shapes will make the drawing process much easier and easier. That is why this method is well applicable when teaching children.

When I was little, my mother bought a special step-by-step drawing book for me. I didn't buy one for my son. Somehow it happened that my child immediately began to draw whole compositions, not for a second without thinking about anything. Received and still receives great pleasure from this process.

Learning at home

Initially, you need to take care of acquiring the necessary tools to create the first masterpieces of the child. To do this, you will need:

  • quality album;
  • soft simple pencil;
  • good eraser;
  • a set of colored pencils;
  • schemes for phased drawing.

Don't be surprised that so few tools are needed at this time. It is better to first of all introduce the kid to drawing with pencils, and only then move on to crayons or paints.

You also need to take care of the presence of a comfortable table, chair, good lighting. When class begins, eliminate any distractions or annoyances.

You must remember to follow certain rules in the learning process:

  • haste is a bad counselor;
  • you need to make every effort;
  • it is necessary to try to depict the drawing in the same sequence as indicated in the diagram;
  • you need to reproduce the picture, pondering and remembering your actions, so that later there will be an opportunity to do it yourself, without using schemes;
  • the first work should be fairly easy and simple to perform, then you need to consistently move on to more complex tasks;
  • remember that you cannot complement the baby's drawing. Your actions will only upset him.

We teach kids from three to four years old

  1. For a child of 3 years old, you need to select only soft pencils. This is due to insufficient pressure.
  2. We show the kid how to hold it correctly. If necessary, we help with our own hand.
  3. Remember that children at the age of 3 and 4 are not yet able to confidently hold a pencil, and, therefore, draw straight lines. Therefore, at first you will have to practice doing just that.
  4. For children of this age, it is recommended to purchase special printed notebooks in which you can circle the finished pictures.
  5. The next stage is familiarity with simple geometric shapes. We draw a triangle, circle, oval, rectangle, square.
  6. As soon as the child has mastered geometric shapes, and they began to work out for him, we move on to transforming them into new objects. For example, you can create a bus from small circles and a rectangle.

Introducing children from five to seven years old

  1. If the kid, who is already 5 years old, was previously familiar with simple drawing techniques, then you can go from a simple pencil to a set of colored pencils, also to felt-tip pens or paints. Explain to your child that his image can be colored by giving different colors to certain objects.
  2. At the age of 6, a child will be able to learn how to create compositions and whole plots in his paintings.
  3. At this age, children can be asked to depict on a piece of paper everything that they notice in everyday life.
  4. If a daughter or son has questions in creating paintings, you should always pay attention and try to find answers to them.
  5. A child at the age of 7 will already consciously convey his emotions with the help of drawings.

Examples of

I bring to your attention a plan of four phased drawings. Start with the simplest thing - a tree or a rose, and finally try out a method for drawing a person in stages. You will see that creating such pictures is not so difficult, any child can cope with the task.

Draw a tree

Inform the child that it should consist of a trunk, leaves and branches.

  1. Draw the trunk, notice that it is much wider at the base than at the top.
  2. Think about what kind of tree you are depicting. Remember that, for example, a birch has a rather thin trunk, has bends, while an oak has a massive one.
  3. Now we need to add branches. Note that they are wider at the base. You also need to understand that they are larger from the bottom of the trunk. It must be remembered that the branches of the tree begin to grow from about a quarter of its entire height. Branches are depicted directed towards the sun, that is, raised up.
  4. Try to draw small ones on thick branches, add realism to your drawing.
  5. For the first time, you can not draw each leaf, but depict the crown with one mass.
  6. Now you can color the resulting tree.

Create a rose

  1. We draw a smooth line that will be the stem of the plant.
  2. Draw the leaves on the stem.
  3. We draw an oval. This will be our future bud.
  4. Inside the oval we depict the main petals, there are two of them. We draw so that the centers of the petals resemble a rolled roll.
  5. Draw small side petals.
  6. All that remains is to add colors.

We draw a cat in stages

  1. Let's depict the head in the form of an oval.
  2. Now we need to draw a triangle in the center of the circle. It will be a nose, above it there are two circles - eyes.
  3. We draw a muzzle, add two arches that originate from the nose.
  4. Now you need to do the torso. For this purpose, draw an oval.
  5. Draw the legs, add the tail.
  6. Now let's add two triangles, positioning them on the head. These will be ears.
  7. Inside each resulting triangle, add one more.
  8. Add antennae.
  9. The cat is ready, it remains only to decorate it.

Draw the first man

Such an object is quite complex, and it is better to leave it for last when getting acquainted with a phased drawing.

However, it is worth knowing that after obtaining certain skills of step-by-step drawing, even such a drawing will not seem heavy and it will be easy for a child to recreate.

  1. To depict the head, draw a regular oval.
  2. Now, just below the drawn oval, you need to add a rectangle. This will be part of the torso, from the waist to the head.
  3. Next, you need to connect the drawn parts. This will give you the neck.
  4. Draw another one under the rectangle, the same in width, but more oblong in length.
  5. The resulting rectangle needs to be divided into two halves, these will be the legs.
  6. Next, you need to depict the arms by drawing thin long rectangles along the upper body.
  7. Now you can dress the resulting man. Let's add a neckline for the sweater, depict trousers, shoes and hands.
  8. Add facial features, ears.
  9. So it turned out to be a little man. It remains to give it brightness by decorating it.

Now you know how to teach a child to draw. The main thing is to be patient and do not put pressure on the baby. He'll be ready when the time is right. Try to explain his mistakes as much as possible, remember that you cannot interfere with the work of children and make any adjustments to it.
