Together with his friends, he created the "Boys from Baku" team and became its leader and captain. For five years in a row, from 1967 to 1972, the Baku team did not lose a single match! And in 1970 the team even won the KVN Champion Cup. Yuliy Solomonovich has a psychiatrist diploma, he also graduated from the courses of scriptwriters and directors of the USSR State Committee for Cinematography, and then returned to his native Azerbaijan, where he worked at a film studio and in a musical theater. And in 1988 he moved to Moscow. It was he who was the author and personification of the idea of creating the prestigious Nika film award. Conducted entertainment shows on TV and radio, staged musicals, shot the legendary film "Park of the Soviet Period". And although today Guzman is mostly silent during the filming of KVN, it is absolutely impossible to imagine a humorous show without him!

Surprisingly, one of the brightest players of the end of the last century, Garik Martirosyan, also has a medical education, like Yuliy Solomonovich. Moreover, in a similar specialty, Garik is a neuropathologist-psychotherapist. For three years Martirosyan even worked as a doctor! But fate cannot be fooled. Garik began playing in KVN in 1993 as part of the New Armenians team, and in 1997 he became the champion. In 2005, it was he, together with his fellow countrymen Artur Tumasyan, Artur Janibekyan, Artak Gasparyan and Artashes Sargsyan, who created the mega-popular Comedy Club project, which had no analogues on Russian TV at that time. In 2007, he hosted two seasons of the Minute of Glory project on Channel One, and a year later became the host of the ProjectorParisHilton show together with Alexander Tsekalo, Ivan Urgant and Sergei Svetlakov. Produced and wrote the script for another very successful project - "Our Russia" on TNT. He also hosted the programs "Main Stage" and "Dancing with the Stars" on the channel Russia. After graduating from the university, Volya moved to Moscow, where at first he worked as a foreman at a construction site, later he got a job as a screenwriter at RTR in the program "Good evening" by Igor Ugolnikov. Then he got a job at MuzTV, for some time he even voiced the cartoon character Masyanya (then there was a drawn evening show with a popular animation girl). But they remembered Pasha, a talented joker, when creating the Comedy Club, he himself invented the image of a glamorous bastard, and it was he who opened the first stand-up show performance in one of the capital's shopping centers. In 2007, Volya sang, recorded several songs that became hits, and then released an album. In 2008, the movie "Plato" was released on the screens of cinemas, after which Volia became a superstar. After the first success, he played in several more popular films - "Happy New Year, Mom", "Office Romance. Our Time ”,“ Love in the Big City-2 ”,“ Bride at Any Cost ”,“ The Best Film ”. Some time ago, Pavel accumulated so much of his own material - monologues and humorous selections - that he began giving solo concerts, which had unprecedented success among the public. Volya even traveled half the world on tour - everywhere the Russian audience welcomes him with a bang. Last year, together with his wife, Laysan Utyasheva, he launched the "Willpower" project, in which a gymnast is responsible for improving the participants' bodies, and a comedian - for increasing intellectual vigor and mental alertness (at least, so it is written on their official website). Exactly 50 years ago, in 1961, the first release of the KVN program was broadcast - a game that has been and remains to this day for KVNschikov the second work and vocation. One of those for whom KVN became a start in life was Gennady Khazanov. Only on the second attempt he was taken to the State School of Circus and Variety Art, where one of the leading actresses of the Moscow Satire Theater Nadezhda Ivanovna Slonova became his teacher. A few years later, Khazanov became one of the most popular domestic artists and the main director of the Variety Theater.
Julius Guzman also stood at the origins of the legendary game. He was the captain of the "Boys from Baku" team from 1964 to 1971.
Guzman is considered one of the brightest KVN players of the 60s. He first introduced "organization" into KVN - his team always performed in the same uniform. On the stage of KVN, Yuliy Solomonovich was remembered as the author and performer of the tricks "Breaking the mustache", "Removing the beard" and the phrase "From me, like water from Guzman!"
During his participation in KVN, he managed to graduate from the Medical Institute. Nariman Narimanov, graduate school and write a dissertation. However, Guzman never became a doctor.
But he became a director who shot several films and staged many performances, including in America, Japan and China.
A new generation of cheerful and resourceful
After closing in 1971, KVN was revived only in 1986.
With the words of the new anthem "We are starting KVN" the game began a new chapter in its history. The first new champion of KVN was the team of Odessa State University.
More than a hundred teams have played in the top league.
After completing their playing career, many KVN participants became popular TV presenters, actors, writers, screenwriters, etc.
For example, in the late 90s, former KVN musicians created the popular program "OSP", and Tatyana Lazareva, champion of the first women's KVN team "There are only girls in jazz", was among the authors of the idea.
Another "graduate" of KVN Elena Hanga later became a popular TV presenter of the sensational programs "About It" and "Domino Principle".
She was one of the first to manage to transfer KVN outside the domestic air.

Valdis Pelsh has been on the jury of the Higher League of KVN several times.
One of the founders of the "Accident" group himself once played in the student theater, and then in the KVN team at Moscow State University. The audience remembered Pelsh as a Latvian who does not know Russian well.

Many people know that Garik Martirosyan, Semyon Slepakov, Alexander Revva are from KVN, but the fact that Pelageya, the jury of the “Voice” show, played in the NSU team, is not known to many. Then the 11-year-old girl became the youngest member of the cheerful and resourceful club. The jury never remained indifferent to Pelageya's unique acting talent, her 3.5 octave voice. Therefore, we can say that the girl's debut took place on the KVN stage.
However, not everyone decided to go into creativity and show business, for example, Svetlana Fabrikant, a graduate of the Odessa Gentlemen team (twice KVN champion), went into politics. Despite the fact that she actively participated in the life of the Odessa State University. Mechnikov, however, she did not manage to graduate from the university. After completing her KVN career, she worked as the editor-in-chief of one of the Odessa television companies, but later decided to go into politics. Now Fabrikant is the leader of the Strong Ukraine party.
Of course, it is impossible not to mention the contemporaries of KVN humor, such as Mikhail Galustyan, the girl who became famous for the unique image of Gadya Petrovich, Semyon Slepakov, who plays in the Pyatigorsk National Team, Garik Martirosyan, a member of the New Armenians team and the organizer of the Comedy Club TV show.

In 1986, the Higher League of KVN appeared. Most often on television you can see the games of the teams that are included in it. The host of the KVN program is Maslyakov Alexander Vasilyevich. The Premier League is headed by his son. His name is Alexander Alexandrovich Maslyakov. Since 1987, more than 200 teams have participated in the Major League. - Voronezh Civil Engineering Institute. The team played 3 games and advanced to the semifinals.

- The team "Ural Janitors" of the Ural Polytechnic Institute. This is one of the record holders. The team took part in 7 games and reached the final.

In subsequent years, teams from Dnepropetrovsk, Moscow, Novosibirsk, Ural universities, MGIMO, the Medical Institute in the city of Ivanovo and the Aviation Institute in the city of Kharkov participated in the league. As well as other educational institutions.
