The organizers reported that the electronic team of Major Lazer will take part in it, the authors of the largest hits and chadliners of the largest festivals.

Members of Major Lazer Diplo, Gillioner and Walus Fife burned for TBRG Open tool track - the so-called "Tuborg Beat" - which will be the basis for their collaborations with three local stars representing China, India and Russia.

The first organizers revealed the name of the Russian artist - they became a rapper scriptonitis, one of the most striking representatives of the new Patriotic Rap Scene, who made himself the name of the breakthrough album "House with normal phenomena", which was released in 2015 on the Labell "Gazagolder". Last week, a short video with the participation of Skriptonit appeared in Instagram-Storsith from the Diplo, causing many questions about the origin of this entry.

"Poster Daily" talked with the participants of Major Lazer about the secrets of successful collaboration and how aware of the modern Russian music.

- Do you know something about Russian music?

Gillioner: Yes. Something we listened. I listened to many Russian rap - it sounds very aggressive, but I like it. You have people who make a pretty crazy industrial, trap sound.

Diplo: Yes, it is very aggressive. When I listened, I immediately remembered my first trip to Moscow - then I was also cold and scary too. So this music sounds like this. But then I came to you again, this time in St. Petersburg, it was summer - and this is quite another thing.

Major Lazer often uses Jamaican, Caribbean, African, South American music - and thanks to you, she seeps into mainstream, in pop music. What needs to be done to us so that Russian music also penetrates the global market?

Walsh Fire: Your musicians need to continue to do what they do. But they also need to look for ways to rise with European artists, with American artists. Let's say, in the last 5-7 years, a lot has been done to bring bridges between the Western pop scene and the same caribbean sound, and you yourself gave it, so a successful result made it.

And this is what we continue to do, cooperating with African artists, with Scandinavian artists and so on and so on. In Russia, obviously, you are dealing with a language barrier. But there is also Russian-speaking markets, and also not the smallest. There are Russian community in every major city - here and here, in Los Angeles. Or look at the French - they somehow achieve global success. Whether they are their rappers Booba, Lacrim or electronic musician DJ Snake. The borders for music have become more transparent and puffy. Therefore, you should not be afraid to set great goals.

In your account, truly many collaborations with other musicians. You can say in advance whether the cooperation will be successful?

Diplo: For a successful collaboration there are only two conditions: you need to be open to new ideas, and you really need a lot of work. Sometimes you spend a lot of strength - and without a special result. But sometimes something happens absolutely spontaneously - and two minutes later you leave the studio with a hit.

Walsh Fire: Chemistry is very important; If there is no chemistry between you, then even with an extremely talented collaborator will work hard.

- And with whom it was the most difficult?

Gillioner: Yes, in fact, the collaborations were held just where it was not difficult. If it becomes too difficult, then it is best to disperse and go further.

Diplo: Sometimes we tried to get big stars - really superstar. And we did not succeed because of the schedule, timing, other circumstances. Sometimes the obstacle becomes the policy of labels, studios. And some really excellent work could not get out.

- For so many years of work, after so many successful singles you have already figured out what makes the song hit?

Gillioner: Only you do, the audience. We can assume something, but ultimately bro, that you choose.

Diplo:Honestly, this is a pretty dead way - trying to proper hit. Throughout this time I was engaged in music that I sincerely liked. I'm not sure that everything could work out if I tried to chase the trends instead and copy the sound from the hit parade.

Is it possible in today's world where music is globalized and is unified, where any successful find is immediately copied, still retaining its uniqueness?

Diplo: I play music around the world, and I am asked everywhere if globalization hurts music. I can not say that the music becomes an impersonal. If you speak English with a Russian accent, no globalization will change it. In South Africa, I worked with a person who calls himself a House musician, - it absolutely did not sound like a house music, in my understanding. It was something South African.

If the guy in Russia does rap, he needs some kind of recognizable feature. One of my favorite reggeton artists lives in Russia, this is a guy named White Gangster. He makes very cool music, but you say to yourself: "Hey, something is wrong, this is not a reggaeton in its pure form, there is something Russian outright." Whatever global is the world, you still have something from the culture that you brought up, - well, you do not need to hide it.

In addition, we talked to scriptonite to learn about the features of working with Major Lazer.

- What did you wait from the meeting with Major Lazer?

Nothing waited. In such situations there is no sense in advance.

- What are you oriented in music?

I follow everything that happens with music, but I try to remain myself; Making music popular, but original. But where is the edge, how not to fly from this path, how not to break for trends - this is a big question. I myself observe a lot of people, in the actions of which I do not find logic, - well, when the musician business went better before he began to navigate for some "commercial" sound.

Major Lazer is known for those successfully turn into elements of pop music some interesting sounds and unimprotected ideas from niche scenes - from Jamaican Danshall, from Trinidad juice and so on. What of the Russian, Kazakh, our music could in the same way in the trends?

There are many beautiful ethnic instruments: Balalaika, Dombra Kazakh, KOBZ - two-string cello such, roughly speaking. And already from producers depends on how they adapt it. Whether few wants to risk, or simply do not know how. I would like to try, but not right now.

- Do you feel the pressure from the fact that your collaborators are so stars?

This is complicated, yes. They do not put on purpose specifically, but you will still feel it.

DJ Diplo electronic project, who conquered the Radiocarts by the LEAN ON track, is sent to a musical study of modern culture of the three countries of the planet. The conductor in each country will be a local musician, rightfully earned love and respect for fans.

Tuborg Open will unite talented people around the world, opening opportunities for bold musical collaborations. Fans still remember the performances of Muse and Foo Fighters in Russia, Depeche Mode in Croatia and Tame Impala in Asia. Such experience of the dialogue of different cultures inspired Major Lazer to participate the Tuborg Open project and the essay of the official Bit Tuborg.

"Development of a unique bit, which would fit perfectly in three completely different tracks, turned into a truly exciting creative process for us," says DJ and producer Walshy Fire. - The project allows us to expand the range of our own ideas about people and amazing places with which we would not get acquainted without this platform. And we, in turn, we can give our new friends our own knowledge and experience. "

"This is absolutely new expherers for us - continues his jillionaire colleague. - The main thing here is the joy of communication and the discovery of something new, the constant exchange of ideas, which will eventually allow us to create something more together. This is a real cultural interpenetration. "

Diplo explains the concept of Tuborg Open: "Bit will become a unifying element for all musicians, and it inspires me the most. The project participants will be able to create on it with anything, it is for any interpretation. At the same time, the bit sounds like part of the original Major Lazer track, with its unmistakable recognizable sound. We are very interested to hear what happens as a result. "

Skiptonitis is agreed with a colleague by collaborati: "We make a big job. I am interested in music in general, a wide variety of its directions. Each time experimenting, I do not leave myself, I still continue to spin around my sound. "

Diplo also hopes that Tuborg Open will become a large source for inspiration: "It is known that great things happen when a person is open to something new. We dream to inspire musical fans to study other cultures and new borders of their capabilities. "

"When creating a Tuborg Open campaign and the Tuborg bit, we wanted to use a unique strength of music that can overcome any geographic barriers. - says Ashwin George, the Global Marketing Manager Tuborg. - And Major Lazer, famous for their musical collaborations, became an ideal partner in this sense. Their passion for the unification of different cultures, genres and artists is consonant with what is doing Tuborg over long decades. "

Unless a couple of years ago, someone could introduce something similar? And now Diplo and scrippi write a song in one studio

Today it became known that in the framework of the special project Tuborg Open, the famous electronic team of Major Lazer will record songs with representatives of the three countries - China, Russia and India. Especially for this, they produced a bit, which will form the basis of all three collaborations.

Russia will present the scriptonite in the project, which shortly before the announcement appeared in, and the release of the songs is scheduled for June of this year. And this is what the participants themselves say about it (a small interview with Major Lazer read on the website "Athens.daily"):

Scriptonite: "I am interested in music in general, a wide variety of its directions. Each time experimenting, I do not come from myself, I still continue to spin around my sound. "

Diplo: "Bit will become a unifying element for all musicians, and it inspires me the most. The project participants will be able to create on it with anything, it is for any interpretation. At the same time, the bit sounds like part of the original Major Lazer track, with its unmistakable recognizable sound. We are very interested to hear what happens as a result. "

Jillionaire.: I listened to many Russian rap - it sounds very aggressive, but I like it. You have people who make a pretty crazy industrial, trap sound.
