Who will lead the program while everyone is at home. Timur Kizyakov on the "orphan" scandal: "Nobody will do anything like this for such funds

The average Russian TV viewer, turning on the TV on Sunday morning, will no longer see a positive person drinking tea. According to RIA Novosti, citing a source familiar with the situation, Channel One will no longer buy the entertainment program, which has been running for many years.

According to the source, this decision is related to the results of the audit, during which it became clear how the program was financed.

The program that made the country crazy

“While everyone is at home” is a real symbol of the era. The first issue aired on November 8, 1992, during the period of traumatic shock from the collapse of the USSR. There was very little positive on TV at that time. Therefore, Sunday gatherings with tea were a real outlet for the audience, and the presenter Timur Kizyakov quickly became a star no less than those to whom he came.

For the beggars of the 1990s, the rubric "Crazy Hands" became a godsend, in which the inventor Andrei Bakhmetyev, together with Kizyakov, created simple crafts from scrap materials. The most popular of these were, of course, plastic bottles, from which Bakhmetyev seemed to be ready to collect anything - up to the space station.

In 1996 and 2006, "While Everyone is Home" won the TEFI prize in the nomination "Best Cognitive Program".

For a quarter of a century of existence, the program has become so recognizable that, perhaps, there were no major humorous projects where they would not joke about it, starting from parodies in "" and ending with hurricane numbers in.

“While everyone is at home” was ruined by the “childish question”?

Television critics frowned, believing that the broadcast format was outdated, just as Timur Kizyakov himself is outdated after 25 years of continuous tea drinking. And yet, at first glance, nothing foreshadowed the current turn of events.

However, back in December 2016, at a seminar-meeting chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets, the head of the Ministry of Education and Science Olga Vasilyeva drew the attention of the regions to the unfair work of foundations to place children in families. She mentioned Vasilyeva and the program "While everyone is at home", in which since 2006 there has been a section "You will have a child", which is involved in helping in the adoption of children left without parental care. The program was preparing the so-called video passports of children, and the minister noted that filming video passports of orphans for adoption funds is a big problem. According to Vasilyeva, it is because of such funds in the regions that there is a high return of children.

At the same time, information surfaced that the heading "You will have a child" allegedly receives additional funding from the funds, which Minister Vasilyeva spoke about.

Timur Kizyakov: the methods of Channel One are unacceptable for us

Sources on Channel One claim that the decision to end cooperation with Timur Kizyakov was made back in the spring. The "hole" in the Sunday broadcasting network is intended to close the new show "".

Channel One decided to close the program "While Everyone Is Home" after the scandal with "video passports." According to media reports, the channel's management found it unacceptable that the companies of the host Timur Kizyakov received exclusive rights and funding for the production of charitable videos about orphans. Kizyakov himself does not consider these claims to be justified.

On August 15, RBC reported that Channel One had terminated the contract with the producer of the Poka Vse Doma program, citing sources on the channel. The creator and presenter of the program, Timur Kizyakov, confirmed to the BBC Russian Service that the program will no longer be aired on Channel One.

The producer of the program was the Dom company, 49% owned by Kizyakov himself.

The decision to terminate the contract between the TV channel and the production company was made back in May, says Kizyakov. At the end of May, "Dom" notified the management of Channel One that "the channel's management methods" were unacceptable, the presenter claims.

"I would not like to dwell on this topic, but, for example, when a company goes to a channel in writing on production issues, and the channel does not respond to letters at all, how should you treat this? How should you treat the fact that the channel is delaying funding? And delays have been constant ", - said the TV presenter.

Scandal with "video passports"

However, according to RBC sources, the reason for the closure of the program on First is the scandal that broke out in the fall of 2016 with the "video passports" of orphans.

According to the calculations of the newspaper "Vedomosti", commercial companies associated with Kizyakov received more than 100 million rubles (1.6 million dollars) from the state to create videos about orphans.

These videos were shown in the heading "You will have a child", which was hosted by Kizyakov's wife Elena as part of "While everyone is at home." At the end of the video, the viewers were shown a phone by which they could get advice on the adoption of a child.

The heads of charitable organizations and the media were outraged by the fact that Kizyakov's companies became owners of the exclusive right to produce such videos and receive subsidies from the state for them.

Kizyakov registered the "video passport" trademark, and only they could receive tenders from the Ministry of Education for the creation of such products. The creation of one video clip cost 100 thousand rubles (1.7 thousand dollars), the Ministry of Education said.

In addition, as a representative of the Ministry of Education and Science told at one of the meetings (TASS correspondent Tatyana Vinogradova quoted him on her Facebook), Kizyakov was suing other charitable organizations that also tried to create similar projects.

According to RBC, Channel One found out that the Dom company received money for the heading from the TV channel, from the state and from sponsors. The management of the TV channel considered that this spoils the reputation of the TV channel.

"Bone in the throat"

Kizyakov does not consider the claims to be justified. According to him, "While everyone is at home" is a "bone in the throat" for competitors who also shoot videos about orphans. At the same time, he did not specify what kind of programs he was talking about.

"While we are, there is and with whom to compare. Look carefully at these programs through the eyes of a potential adoptive parent - what information will give you a reason to go to your child across the country?" - says Kizyakov.

He stressed that thanks to the heading "You will have a child" in "While everyone is at home" 2,5 thousand children from orphanages have left for families. “And when 20-30 thousand videos are shot, and five children are arranged, the efficiency is zero,” he says, calling the competitors' content “props” and “visibility”.

Kizyakov said that all funding for the production of video passports came from government agencies - the Ministry of Education and Science or regional authorities.

“For a child to be seen, you need a certain amount of information, a certain amount of professional work,” he explained.

At the same time, Kizyakov claims that the sponsor of the column - the manufacturer of the tiles - had nothing to do with the videos, and the sponsor's gift goes to the children's institution where the child-hero of the column lives. Kizyakov included the expenses for the journalists' travel to the orphanage in the production estimate for the program - it was assumed that Channel One would pay for it.

"I am interested in how the channel will comment that the presenters are leaving one by one. We will not make excuses, but will continue to do what we did. The program may die, but it cannot die," Kizyakov said. He added that he is considering the possibility of concluding a contract with another TV channel and continue to show "While Everyone is Home."

The press service of Channel One did not comment on the information about Kizyakov's departure to the BBC.

"While All Homes" has been aired on Channel One since 1992 on Sundays. The TV presenter came to visit celebrities and talked with their families.

According to the television meter Mediascope (formerly TNS), the program "While All Homes" has been in the second half of the list of "100 most popular programs among Russians over the age of 4". The rating of the issues "While All Homes" in the spring did not exceed 3%.

The program "While Everyone is Home" will no longer be aired on Channel One. Timur Kizyakov, along with the film crew, quit the channel.

Channel One will no longer air the show "While Everyone is Home" with the presenter Timur Kizyakov.

Channel One terminated the contract with the company that produced the program. Since the program does not belong to "First" and was created by the production company, it will no longer be broadcast on it.

TV presenter Timur Kizyakov explained the reasons for leaving Channel One: together with the project "While everyone is at home," he resigned of his own free will back in May, after the scandal with the video passports of orphans.

Kizyakov insists that the producer of the program, OOO Dom, at the beginning of June, on his own initiative, sent Channel One an official notification that he would no longer create a program for them: “We did this because of the unacceptable working methods of the channel's management.” Kizyakov refused to disclose the essence of the claims. “We do not know anything about the fact that the channel, allegedly in April, decided not to work with us anymore,” he told reporters.

However, according to Kizyakov, the severance of relations with the First for the Dom company is not directly related to the scandal around the video passports: "Although we were extremely unpleasant that the channel did not protect us in this situation."

Earlier, the media reported that the decision to terminate the contract with the company "Dom", which produced the program "Until All Homes", was made about a month ago. Allegedly, this happened as a result of an internal audit, which was organized by the TV channel after the publication in the media of information that the presenters Timur and Elena Kizyakovs from several sources at once received money from several sources to produce the so-called "video passports" of orphans (they were shown in the heading "You there will be a child "). They talked about children from orphanages who need adoptive parents.

It turned out that the company received money for this section from the TV channel (for the production of an outsourced program), from the state (for the production of "video passports") and from sponsors (for example, from one of the well-known manufacturers of ceramic tiles).

According to the data of the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, 49.5 percent of LLC Dom belongs to Kizyakov and his longtime business partner Alexander Mitroshenkov, and another 1% belongs to the head of the company, Nina Podkolzina.

It was reported at the end of last year that the companies that belong to the creators of the program "Bye all are at home" received funding from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and at the same time from regional authorities in the amount of about 110 million rubles to create videos about orphans. "Vedomosti".

According to the procurement documents studied by the newspaper, the production of one such "video passport" costs 100 thousand rubles.

The representative of the First Channel Larisa Krymova then noted that they did not know that the production company of the program was filming "video passports" with money received from the state.

According to the newspaper, Channel One paid about one and a half million rubles for one issue of the program "While All Homes". The section “You’ll have a child” also had a separate sponsor - the same tile manufacturer, and the creators of the show also received part of this money.

It is noted that it was decided to close the now traditional program back in April 2017. The reason is the drop in ratings, the source believes. However, the final decision was made due to the scandal with orphans, due to which the audience lost confidence in the TV show.

The program was produced by LLC "Dom", with it "Channel One" and broke the contract, RBC reports, citing a source. This happened due to an internal check of the channel, initiated by media reports that the hosts of "So far are all at home" Timur and Elena Kizyakova took money from several sources to produce video passports for orphans. The videos were shown under the heading "You will have a baby." They told about children from orphanages who are waiting for adoptive parents. The information about the machinations was confirmed and Channel One decided to close the program.

According to the source of the publication, "Dom" received funds for the heading from the TV channel, the state and sponsors. The company is 49.5% owned by Kizyakov, the rest of the shares belong to the TV presenter's business partner Alexander Mitroshenkov and head Nina Podkolzina.

Earlier, "Vedomosti" reported that the companies of the creators of "Poka Vse Doma" received about 110 million rubles for the creation of video passports both from the federal Ministry of Education and Science and from regional authorities. According to the newspaper, the cost of producing one video is 100 thousand rubles, Channel One pays about 1.5 million rubles to Dom for the release of one program. In addition, the program has a separate sponsor, part of which is also received by the creators of Bye Everyone's Home.
